Unexplained $400 charges
I was in a car accident, it was the other guy’s fault…my car was paid for and fixed and during that time frame of less than 2 weeks, along with a rented car from Hertz. I was told that using their Ez-Pass would cost $10 a day, starting from the day I used it, and $10 a day thereafter. I used the Ez-Pass TWICE IN TOTAL, and only had the car a few days (less than a week) thereafter. I was told I was PAID IN FULL upon returning the car which I detailed and filled the gas tank, in better condition than it was given to me. Tell me why over a month later they tried charging my card almost $400, without explanation, email, letter, call!?!? I called the autobody that I used and they said the bill was in error. Almost 2 weeks later I get a bill in the mail again for $400!? This is bad business, and predatory practice…please help fix this issue!!!
