Hertz - Albany - Albany International Airport (ALB) Bewertungen 

Albany continues to be one of the more challenging Hertz locations. Multiple notifications days prior to our ALB arrival then again being told they have no paperwork on our reservation. Other recent rentals … PCB, in and out in less than 5 minutes and that included the three customers in line before me. Additionally, we understand cannabis is legal in NY but the last several times our car has reeked. Several rentals ago we had to get another vehicle.

Easy to book, fair price, clean new car, easy and fast pickup and return!

The person giving the cars away was very rude and had a poor attitude toward regular customers. They were always on the phone and did not want to help. Very poor customer service.

Hertz held our car until around midnight when our plane came into Albany Airport really late.

From when I checked in to when I returned the vehicle, which I might say was very clean, the process was fast and efficient.

They would not let me choose another car without charging me an upgrade fee per day even though i am a presidential member of hertz and can do choice. they had so many many cars sitting there i wanted to upgrade to so i paid instead the upgrade even though you advertise as presidential i don't have to.

Customer service and experience was great at the time of pickup and return. Nissan rogue car was over all good but didn't have lane correction. Wiper blades needs to be replaced. Breaks were soft, needs to inspected.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. HERTZ IS RUNNING A SCAM!!!

I was in a rush and forgot to check the passenger side door of the car I rented a couple of weeks ago. My son saw a ding in the passenger side door shortly after we arrived to our location.

When we dropped the car back to the rental location, I asked to speak to someone about the ding as it had not occurred during our rental time yet I was concerned I would get charged. The agent said 'Do not worry about it'. A few days later, I get an email from Hertz saying I am liable and will be charged.

I called immediately and the customer service lady said 'Do not worry about it'.

And then a week later, I receive a bill for over $1K!!!!!

No conversation, no discussion. ABSOLUTE INSANITY. HERTZ IS RUNNING A SCAM!!!! The least they could have done is had a discussion with me so I could explain the details.

There are way too many rental companies out there to be treated like this. GROSS.

Car dirty. Windshield dirty also

The Dodge Durango we were given was great and the car seat for my grandson was great. I loved that the car seat was clean and wrapped in plastic when we got it. The gentleman who helped us at the Hertz counter at the Albany airport was also wonderful. The only negative part of my experience was booking the vehicle. Whether I did it online or by phone I had three different coupon codes and no matter what I tried or what vehicle I chose none of the coupons were eligible to be used.

You overbuild me by four times. And your customer service was very argumentative and said I was wrong. I had to prove to them that I had confirmation that they overbuild me by four times.

Pick up was without any problems, but drop off was excellent

The gentleman who took care of us when we brought the care back was awesome. Very nice, articulate, and professional.

To get 5 star I wish I could choose my vehicle in ALB too.

THe problem is the fact that Hertz has a bad location in the Albany airport, then when I arrived to get the care i was off property at some lot about 1 plus miles away and seemed to take too long, when I need to get a car I need to get going. You have to do better.

wait time at garage, no more gold privilege why bother

Great service, but I wish the Gold Desk was closer to the terminal!!!! It is so hard to drag my bag through the entire garage to get to the Hertz Gold Desk!!!

Albany needs to do a better job at offering upgrade to its gold members

My experience was wonderful. Professional, courteous and friendly service provided from picking up the keys to checking the vehicle back in. The car was in excellent condition: clean, maintained, and filled with gas. Extending my reservation was easily managed online. I value the services Hertz provides and it’s what keeps me returning.

Wrong charge, over charging and Arrogant staff.
