I pay a monthly subscription to Heatforce to have my boiler serviced once a year. I've had two appointments cancelled at short notice for this year's service. I've not been given a follow up even though my boiler guarantee depends on regular servicing.

Personally would avoid using HF Ltd

The surveyor got it all wrong and installer almost walked away on day one. I lost three days paid work keeping the install on track and the entire house was turned up side down to accommodate an alternative solution due to error on surveyor's part.
Worst experience ever of dealing with a company where without my intervention the job would not have been completed. They might want to not also use postcrete to repair exterior brickwork as well.

All in all job was completed but at the expense of huge stress and upheaval in our lives.

Definitely would not recommend based on our experience. Used before this last time in 2021 and the experience was excellent. 2025 experience complete opposite. I wonder what changed...

Abdullah Safi Heatforce Engineer

I had a fantastic experience with Abdullah Safi, who came out to service my boiler as part of my contract with OVO. Abdullah was punctual, professional, and extremely thorough. He represented Heatforce, but my praise is entirely for Abdullah’s skill and dedication. I would strongly recommend him based solely on his own excellent work.

Very slow to get things going after the…

Very slow to get things going after the deposit was paid, with no communication. Also no information received up to now (4 days post installation) so, for example, cannot yet register with electricity supplier to get paid for energy generated.

Otherwise excellent.

It pays to buy local

Had boiler issues for some time was recommended to go to British Gas who stated boiler was not repairable
They gave quote
HEATFORCE recommended by friend
Quote for same boiler with 10 year warranty instead of 5 year with British Gas
Installation was completed on time plumbers were very helpful and professional did
Would highly recommend this company also £1500 below British Gas quote

Heatforce kept me updated throughout…

Heatforce kept me updated throughout the process from 1st survey through to installation. The installers did a very neat job, were helpful and polite. The installation was completed in 1 day with a minimum of fuss.

Not a professional installation. Issues throughout the installation process

We reviewed three companies to provide our solar panels. Heatforce came out just above the other two overall.
The sales process was smooth and the documentation provided was very helpful, with plenty of diagrams and calculations.
From there things started to unravel. The scaffolders arrived unannounced a week earlier than expected. That wasn't a problem really, just a bit inconvenient. They also broke some roof tiles (which were later replaced by them)
The installers for the panels and battery arrived, as did the equipment to install them. But the incorrect fixings had been sent so the panels couldn't be fitted until two days later. The fitters determined that they could not fit the number of panels that Heatforce had designed, despite the Heatforce architect conducting an onsite survey. The new design now made it less compelling compared to the other companies, so Heatforce had to decide whether to uninstall the equipment, or change the design to meet the specification - which they did. Meanwhile the panels that were installed were turned on and had failed by the next morning prompting a call-out. The remaining panels were installed a week later, and the system is functioning as planned. There was a considerable amount of mess left behind - boxes, plastic ties, cable clips, cigarette buts, plastic bags etc which was really not professional. Communications through Sophie though was generally good, when prompted. If you use Heatforce they will try your patience.

Just had our solar panels installed by Heatforce, I can't praise them enough, every trade that came to our property, scaffolders, electricians and installers were all very professional, treated us and our property with respect and left a neat and tidy job. A courtesy call from Sophie to make sure everything was ok on completion was the finishing touch. Thanks everyone, will highly recommend.

We got a boiler fitted a few years back and keep losing our hot water. Heatforce, despite me paying them circa £20 a month for maintenance etc insist its not their problem but the boiler manufacturer. The boiler manufacturer say its a issue with the radiators and water which Heatforce fitted. Every time it happens, regular as clockwork, we have to pay the boiler manufacturer to come out and sort our hot water. Heatforce left us with no hot water at Xnas once as they refused to come out and we had to get someone out on Xmas Eve. What am I paying for every month? A yearly check that was cancelled, by them, last year 3 times?????? They are very unprofessional and do not care for their customers. Leaving a family with kids with no hot water? So much for the caring family business they claim to be. Its happened again today but we know they will tell us not their issue and we will need to fork out another £140 to get the boiler manufacturer out. They hide under manufacturer's 10 year guarantee.

The Heatforce installers were…

The Heatforce installers were professional, friendly and very efficient. They worked well as a team. Our solar panels, EV charger and battery were fitted quickly and with a minimum of disruption. We were informed of their plans at every step of the installation and our property was left clean and tidy. The scaffolding team were also professional and efficient.

Excellent if it all goes smoothly but…

Excellent if it all goes smoothly but terrible if they have any issues.

Unfortunately our experience has been the latter. It is over 6 months ago that our solar panels were installed and immediately it was obvious only half of the panels were working. Despite our repeated requests to resolve the issue we are still being asked to wait. We are greatly inconvenienced by the scaffolding that has been left standing for months and we also recently discovered that a pile of rubbish (fixtures for the panels) had been left in the gutters. Looking at other complaints on the review, I am afraid unless the company does something to improve their competence to address issues they encounter, it will cost them their reputation.

I would not be recommending this company unless your work is the most basic and straightforward that cannot go wrong (at least until they improve their problem resolution). Even then I would advise you to ask them to tidy up afterwards.

We are left with no option but to make a formal complaint and request a compensation/refund. Disappointing and frustrating, indeed.

Next day installers arrived and again quick & efficient, well practiced, the electrics guy knew his stuff. Both sets of folks tidied up after themselves.
