As always we received a very professional service from Christopher.

My mother booked her holiday to Tunisia in December 2025 from the Alloa shop, paid it off but passed away unexpectedly in February 2026. Her holiday was planned for April 2026. As a result Hays Travel applied a “cancellation fee” of £496, which is ridiculous given the circumstances.

I informed them the day after she passed and then had a significant wait for the death certificate which I then took into the branch. They didn’t tell me anything at the time, but I eventually got a phone call telling me to claim on her travel insurance which she hadn’t organised as her holiday was months away. The male staff member that I spoke to was not very receptive to our circumstances and quickly got off the phone after dropping the bad news.

I really would be extremely wary of booking with them, book with a company that cares.

I always find the staff at hayes in Alloa outstanding at their jobs , they look in to every option of flights , accommodation and location. They are extremely knowledgeable about the properties they are selling.
They gave me advice from their own experience that determined length of stay . They were patient while u made calls to check holiday dates available.
They don’t rush you or try to push a holiday.
I go in for my currency and Hayes travel cards .
I just find it a stress free experience booking with them all.
Christopher has the patience of a saint I was going to Munich and ended up booking New York. Can’t thank them all enough

All the booking and paperwork was done at the branch. Any queries we had were answered professionally. Notified when luggage labels and boarding passes were ready to pick up.
No stress or hassel.
