I honestly cannot recommend Dr Mike Comins and his team highly enough. Talking me through the procedure and any concerns I was feeling.they were very thorough.I had Vaser Liposuctions done on lower and upper abdomen flanks back, on 28th of September,From the moment I walked in I was treated with so much care and kindness
This helped so much especially I was feeling so anxious. I felt Dr Mike had my interests at heart of everything that was done, particularly in terms of surgical options, The procedure was done same day and able to go home a few hours later. During the evening that day Dr Mike called me to check on me if I was doing well and I just really appreciated that so much.
Having a procedure done is obviously very daunting but knowing you have a surgeon like Dr Mike Comins and his team just makes you feel so much better

I would like to share my experience at Hans place practice. From the time I have walked in in the clinic I was greated by the Reception team, everyone was very friendly. When I saw my dr.Comins he was very friendly and helpful, explaining my procedure and very reassuring, and put me at ease. Now I see the result after my surgery that has gone very very well. Also I would like to mention Natalja who helped with my post surgical recovery and after the second mld massage I feel much better. Host me at the door and helped me with the garment, checking on me the whole time about my wellbeing. Thanks a lot I'm really appreciated.

I cannot begin to explain just how amazing Mike is and the practice staff are.

Having previously, very, very stupidly fallen for an instagram self-marketing surgeon in NYC (you will know him) I made the most expensive mistake. Thinking the USA was a head of the game and only requiring tweakments, I thought I was going to great hands. I was not. At all.

Then I met Mike, he is a true sculpting artist and put everything back to how is was and then some. He exceeded my expectations and then some.

I think as long as you are realistic with expectations you will not be disappointed (doesn’t that go for most things in life?).

I saw Mike twice, April and July and will have a very, very small tweak September! I think I actually have my teen body back let alone pre-pregnancy !

I am not really one to write reviews-good or bad. However, I know how a life changing decision such as vaser requires a high level of consideration & I know that I read reviews before I committed to a surgeon /clinic. I therefore hope that this helps someone too! I am 5’8, (was) UK size 10-12 & (was)approx 60kg.

After much consideration, I decided to press ahead with having vaser. Given that I knew I would go ahead-I wanted to be in the best possible hands-enter Dr Comins! From my very first contact with Hans Place clinic, I was put at ease. Shazia and Sofia are the first point of contact & are so wonderful. Their people skills + approachability are exactly at the right level required & they truly are an asset. I had specific dates in mind for my procedure & Shazia moved heaven & earth to try & accommodate me, as I was going away on holiday. My initial consultation with Dr Comins was short, factual, to the point & informative. I thought I would just have one area done- abdomen. However, Dr Comins explained how this would impact proportionality & couldn’t be a one area stand alone procedure. Following the procedure, I now see exactly why! I needed my upper abdomen, lower abdomen + flanks vasered, in order to achieve the result I envisaged. So that’s exactly what I did! I was already [almost] at my ideal weight, but needed some fine tuning. I didn’t exercise much & sit working behind a computer/desk all day. Dr Comins advised some Pilates to strengthen my core before any procedure, so that my results could be even better- I complied! Anything to get better results. I managed to secure a procedure within 2-weeks & was extremely excited. Twilight sedation would be used, which is much better than having to go under general in my view, & the procedure would take approx 2 hours. An anaesthetist attends especially on the day of the procedure. The day of my procedure arrived (Feb 2023) & I was ready in my gown. My procedure was set for 1pm & I hadn’t eaten since the night prior, so I was excited, nervous & hungry all at the same time! Prior to the procedure, a blood sample was taken in order to ensure that it would be safe to proceed. However, my iron/haemoglobin levels were very low & I had absolutely no idea! They were checked twice but, given how low they were, Dr Comins was unable to proceed with the procedure, as it would not be considered safe. I literally wanted to sign my safety rights away at that moment (not that I was asked to!) but I was not allowed to. Dr Comins was very clear that he could not proceed, as any risk was too big a risk to take. I was devastated, but it was clear that the clinic would not compromise patient safety, which was reassuring. Dr Comins was very empathetic about it all. I was not charged for the procedure not going ahead that day. A blood sample was taken & sent away for analysis-results came back & it turns out I am anaemic! I was prescribed 4-weeks of tablets to assist with my iron / haemoglobin levels. I took them religiously & had a further blood test. My levels were now considered safe & I was then booked in my procedure on 30.03, 2nd time lucky!

I attended on the day & had a further blood sample taken. I sat anxiously waiting for the result but was good to go! Nerves kicked in again, as I was led to where the procedure would be undertaken. Nurse Caitlin & the anaesthetist were so great at keeping me calm & relaxed. A few minutes after laying down, I was placed under twilight sedation & after that I woke up dressed sat on a chair next to nurse Caitlin & it was all over ! I was not in any pain, had a cup of tea & went home within the hour. I was able to walk straight out & into the waiting car. Dr Comins said it had been a success & I believe that I had approx 3.4-3.7 litres removed. I had a foam 4-d garment around me & a corset type garment over the top of the foam vest. I went home and rested & then took my first shower after approx 48-hours. I was aware that I had two drains just below my belly button which needed to be removed with care, so I had my mother help with that. I would say that please lay down the first time you take your garments off for a shower, as I didn’t & almost fell! The clinic advice booklet does say to lay down as you may feel dizzy- I should have considered that advice! Luckily, I had my mother with me & she helped me to lay down. That was the first time that I saw my new silhouette & I was ECSTATIC! I could already see the huge difference and definition. Since this time, it has just got better & better! I have had my 2-week, 6-week & 10-week review with Dr Comins and all have been great. I ensured that I kept up regular MLD sessions (I had approx 12-sessions) as these sessions are so important. I am now 3-months post procedure & absolutely love my results. So much so, that I now want my thighs done with Dr Comins. A wonderful Dr & sincerely great clinic. Thoroughly recommended !

Mike is thoughtful, kind and very reassuring - I felt entirely safe in his hands and the aftercare has been exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend. I’m so glad I chose Hans Place. I went for a few consultations elsewhere and something wasn’t sitting right, I didn’t feel confident going ahead with any of them.

I came across Hans Place Instagram and called and spoke to Sofia, the patient coordinator. The service was excellent from there on. They are happy to give you a rough ball park figure unlike other companies who say “Price given at consultation”. This way I didn’t waste either of our time if it were out of my budget.

Dr Comins- seriously talented man. He listened, he was thorough and he was not your typical cosmetic surgery looking man! Lovely, nice, normal and kind trusting man. Also Caitlin- she’s one of the nicest nurses I’ve come across.

The information leading up to the day was extremely thorough and informative. The aftercare- amazing. They truly care.

I am going back soon, so this should show how great the place and people are!

I have just had the most astonishingly positive experience with Dr Mike Comins and the lovely team at Hans Place Practice, and I really cannot speak highly enough of them. I have hated my blubbery belly for decades, and after months of looking tentatively at the practice’s website, I finally plucked up the courage to book a consultation. I was genuinely expecting to be told that it was a lost cause (I’m 61, for goodness sake!), but Dr Comins was so certain that it could be treated, and that I would be a good candidate for vaser liposuction, that I went ahead and booked the procedure.

I opted for local anaesthetic, rather than general sedation, and if you can bear the thought of being conscious throughout, I would really recommend this because you feel so much better immediately after the treatment. I am writing this on day three after my surgery, and while I appreciate that this is only my experience, and that other people’s responses will be different, I can honestly say that I have experienced no pain or discomfort, and I don’t even feel the need to take painkillers. I don’t feel tender or sore, and the swelling and bruising is far less than I would have expected. The incisions from the cannulas have disappeared already, and I am almost as mobile as I was pre-surgery. Even better, the results are instant – I now have the washboard stomach of my dreams, and I don’t even have any saggy pockets of skin where the fat used to be.

From my first phone conversations with the lovely Shazia and Sofia, who made me feel as though I was the only patient in the practice, to the consultation and surgery itself with Dr Comins, and the pre- and aftercare advice from Catrin the nurse (and not forgetting the other member of the team in the operating theatre – I didn’t get your name, but I knew that you were there!), every aspect of the process was so supportive, informative and caring, that there just wasn’t anything to be worried or apprensive about.

I am more than delighted with the experience that I have had, and with the results that will make a real difference to how I feel about my body for the rest of my life. Thank you all so much.

Honestly, from the beginning, from the moment you step into the consultation, Sofia and Shazia make sure you’re feeling at home!

When meeting Dr. Mike Comins you immediately feel like you’re in good hands. After seeing almost 10 different surgeons in central London, only when meeting Mike I felt comfortable and fully trusting someone with operating me and achieving the goals I want.

I’ve only had the surgery this morning, so will update in regards to results and recovery in the next few weeks.
But couldn’t sit still and not write my experience this morning!
I arrived a little anxious, but honestly, within 5 minutes of speaking to the nurse and then speaking to Mike, not only I didn’t feel anxious, I felt excited!
It almost felt like you’re arriving at the spa than to have surgery.

I know from the past that it is very hard to put me to sleep under IV sedation, but the anesthesiologist did such an incredible job adding that to Mikes gentle touch and phenomenal work, when I woke up it felt like I woke up from a nap.

I am honestly beyond happy choosing Dr Mike Comins and the whole crew at the Hans Place Practice.

Incredible Results!
I just wanted to write a review to say how incredibly happy I am following my Vaser treatment.
I had my treatment with Dr Mike a few weeks ago around my upper bank and flanks . And I am absolutely over the moon with the results. After trying tirelessly in the gym I have been unable to shift a stubborn band of fat around by bra strap and back and it was starting to get me down. I was getting into cycles of bulking and cutting and it was becoming tiresome with very little improvement of my problem areas.
I was recommended Hans Place by a friend so I decided it may be a good option for me.
I opted for IV sedation on the day , and the whole procedure from start to finish was completely painless and stress free. (I just wanted to give special thanks to the anaesthetist - I have always struggled with terrible sickness following sedation but this time I did not have any trouble whatsoever)
Now two weeks down the line I have my dream body thanks to Dr Mike. My waist is tiny and my back is slender - exactly what I wanted! To anyone thinking about this procedure I cannot recommend Hans Place practice enough! I wish I’d done it sooner.
This procedure now gives me the motivation to keep up and continue on my fitness journey - just that little bit of help has given me huge amounts of confidence and look forward to seeing the results improve over time with my new healthy eating and fitness plan

What can I say, this clinic provides beyond professional and personalised experience. From the moment I called in for an inquiry to the treatment to the aftercare, I have not come across such a diligent place of practice. I can only say that if you want the best, then Hans Place Practice will deliver results and reassurance. I’m so happy!

They call you continuously to make sure you are ok and that you are healing well. The process has been so smooth.
My results; it’s only been a week but I’m happy and know that I’m in the right hands for aftercare.

Other clinics I had called for a consultation prior made me feel as If I would be put on a conveyer belt of surgery with no real care for my treatment or myself.

Dr Mike Comms and his team made me feel so secure in journey always making sure that I am to receive the best results possible. I believe the after care is most important when it comes to this kind of surgery and they invest their time to make sure that the results are at the highest level.

I had VaserLipo done by dr. Mike in September 2021. The procedure went great, I don't do well with sedation, so Dr. Mike did everything he could to make me as safe and comfortable as possible. The result is amazing! I have never had much of a waist, but now I have a perfect hour shape :) With a nice subtle muscle definition. I have never felt better. Dr. Mike is a thorough and trustworthy highly-skilled professional, who cares deeply about his patients. Like, how he called me several times after the surgery to make sure I was recovering well. I highly recommend Dr. Mike.

I have had vaser Lipo-suction to my lower abdomen and my outer thigh area. I am very happy with the results I have achieved.
The experience from A to Z was incredibly a positive one.
Dr Domins was very professional. He gave me a very honest opinion not to do another procedure I have asked for. I felt that the appointments were relaxed, I had all the time to ask about all the aspects related to my procedure.

I am 50 years old and work out regularly but now struggle with losing those “love handles” and Stubborn fat in the abdominal area .

I am 3 weeks post tummy, and back Vaser Lipo. I was always self conscious about my tummy fat and I can only say that Dr Mike Comins really is a genius, and a master of his trade. He is caring, considerate, understated, and extremely gifted, The first 36 hours are tough, there is no escaping it. By day 6 I was well over the worst of it and each day since has seen an improvement on the day before. I never imagined I would ever have a tummy that is as flat as it is already after just 21 days. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike if you are considering a Lipo procedure. It was the Trustpilot reviews which helped to convince me that the Hans Place Practice was the place to go and I therefore felt I must add to those outstanding reviews.
