BEWARE: It took me 8 months and the intervention of the Legal Ombudsman to get my money back from this firm.
Following their advice could have led to another rejection from the Home Office. As they have advised me I’m not eligible for a fiancé visa and to proceed for a visit visa (3rd attempt).
I went to a new firm (Axis Solicitors), who successfully obtained a Fiancée Visa in LESS THAN 3 WEEKS! —proving Haleys' advice was incorrect.
When I tried to complain, Haleys ignored and ghosted me for 5 months. I had to take my complaint to the Legal Ombudsman
ADVICE TO OTHERS: Always document everything. Keep every email and call log. If they ignore you, do not hesitate to go to the Legal Ombudsman immediately. If I hadn't kept my records, they would have weaseled their way out of refunding me. Do not let them treat you this way

So my partner attempted to come abroad a simple tourist visa anyone can do but we decided to ask for it to be done for us ... contacted they chased for money before worked comensed nothing like a real solicitors would do... Still I paid £600 deposit .. rang by one woman took few details and ignored us for months even tho we chased via WhatsApp and calling even spoke to owner of haleys solicitors... then hot some Asian guy barely understood again took valuable details passport and other documents... so enough for identity theft... then again.. you guessed it ghosted us ... .any attempts just ignore us so time to take them to court for obtaining money by deception fraud and technical theft all true and provable so everyone save yourselves avoid ... I can only imagine previous reviews are their staff ...

My experience with Haley’s Solicitors has been absolutely horrendous and deeply stressful.
• Lack of communication: My appointed solicitor, Ansar Malik, was nearly impossible to contact throughout the entire process. Calls and emails went unanswered, leaving me in the dark about my case.
• Incorrect advice: I was told I would not be granted a right-to-work extension and therefore should not apply. Yet, the Home Office granted my right to work extension without any application from me.
• Failure to forward critical Home Office correspondence: The Home Office sent a letter on 19 June with important updates. I only received this nearly two months later, not from my solicitor, but from his manager, Jenna. This unacceptable delay left me uninformed and extremely stressed.

Instead of reducing the stress of my situation, Haley’s Solicitors added to it significantly. Their conduct was unprofessional, inadequate, and showed a lack of care for a vulnerable client. In my opinion, a firm that treats clients in this way should not be allowed to represent people in such serious matters.

I also emailed official complaints that were never answered.

I cannot recommend them to anyone seeking reliable legal representation.

I dealt with Someya at Haleys solicitors. She is everything you would want and pray for in a solicitor during your time of need. Prompt knowledgeable kind sincerely caring and interested in your case. Very very thorough and boy is she GOOD. It's legally blonde meets Birmingham (I am a girl so I can say that)! In all seriousness though, she will absolutely kick your opponent to the curb of she even allows it to get that far. Highly recommend this firm and in particular, Someya is who I would always recommend.

My name is Christine Brown,I contacted Hayleys solicitors on the 27/02/25 regarding my indefinite leave to remain, they assured me my case was straightforward and i have nothing to worry about. This was all a lie,they were unprofessional they didn't communicate with me properly. I have ask for a refund of my deposit, over six months now, but they held on to my money and lied to me again and again about processing my refund. This solicitor has no regard for their customer and the stresses they have caused.

I received incorrect advice regarding my visa application.
I received advice from another source and completed my application in person.
They now refuse to refund my payment fee, stating they worked to the rule.
I would not recommend these solicitors.
