I much prefer not use ‘middle men’. Unfortunately when selling a house it isn’t the norm to put your own ‘For Sale’ sign in a window and deal with a buyer first hand. So you rely on your estate agent to ‘read’ your buyer. Unfortunately Haart wasted 6 months on a buyer that was a time waster. Although WE were paying Haart they were more keen to make allowances for the buyer. We aborted the sale. Haart not really interested in asking us for feedback.
We gave the name of the time wasting buyer to our new estate agent saying we did not wish to engage with them if they contacted the agent. Our new agent recognized the name as they had, a few weeks before putting an offer in on our property, wasted another sellers time. This time the agent had aborted the sale having ’read’ the buyer…. Apparently.
Haart were incredibly lovely and enthusiastic when we approached them to sell our property but incredibly disappointing service.

I have been a landlord for 20 years and dealing with Haart Estate agents walderslade has been the most frustrating and stressful let. Once they have your fees, getting a response is like banging your head against a brick wall. They have kept my new tenant's deposit since 10th April and as I was running out of time to upload it onto the Deposit Protection Scheme within 30 days, I have used my own money to make sure I'm compliant. I have emailed multiple times, either no reply or unhelpful response. Now I am stuck wasting my time trying to get the deposit returned to me together with a receipt for the fees I paid which I have requested numerous times. Poorly managed branch. They make you feel like you are going to spend the deposit money so they are protecting it. Despite me providing the information they needed, they continue to ignore me. I definitely do not recommend haart walderslade for landlords. Shocking service. The only good thing that has come out of it is realising how great our last letting agent was who we will be going back to.

Went for a property with this company, didn't realise they use Lettings Hub for referencing... oh what joy we had.

They rejected my partner due to CCjs she was unaware of but were happy to proceed with me. Everything was done but Lettings Hub decided they can tell me what I can and cant afford. Even the estate agent said she could see I could afford the property and she had seen 15 months worth of my payslips.

I was highly vetted in my job role and that was nothing in comparison to Haart and Lettings Hub.

I essentially passed vetting and referencing but Lettings Hub decided to be picky, Haart wasn't interested in having good tenants in the property but were quick enough to take our deposit and get us to fill out paperwork at the viewing. They even wanted us to find a guarantor which not many people are willing to do these days and apparently they can offer a guarantor through lettings hub but we were never given this option.

Now we've missed out on other potential properties we were interested in and have consistently been blamed by Haarts staff for all the issues even though we have provided everything we possibly could to get the move through.

Won't ever use Haart again even if they stopped using Lettings Hub, we were given false hope and ended up with nothing. The property has also now been listed at less PCM than what we offered but did they even discuss that option with us? Not at all. The only decent thing they did was refund us our holding deposit but I doubt they would've even done that if I hadn't of asked.

Kian Campbell is polite and professional on the phone, and quick to respond with a solution via email.

The fan in our bathroom had stopped working and Kian Campbell was incredibly helpful with getting this sorted for us. He kept us up to date with information and the work was done really quickly. Thank you and the guys that came for all your help!

Jade Dearing has helped me so much with my flat,I suffer with long term health issues and have had personal stuff to deal with but every time I’ve needed assistance,Jade has been there and looked after me.

Jade’s professionalism and dedication is second to none and I can’t thank her enough for what she has done for me x

Do not ask for a valuation, they will harass you on a daily basis, despite telling them I had changed my mind about selling, they call every bloody day!!!!

Rachel is very rude hung up on me twice this was said she would call me back loads of times never got a call back she also told me she had spoken with the landlord this was also a lie as when I spoke to him he said she hasn’t spoken to him that day. This was all before asking for my holding deposit back she then said it would take 7 days to find out it hadn’t even been done yet spoke with someone else they told me it will take 3 days 3 days after still no deposit refund rang again was told it was stuck in a portal this is now 1 month later in the same position! Also if you try calling her direct line and she is ignoring you she will not pick up but if you call the main line she picks up.

Absolutely appalling service! Especially by one member of staff in particular, Rachel.
Ignoring calls from her direct line but happy to answer the store phone. Very very slow service. Made us feel like we were a problem chasing most things up, doing her job for her. If that wasn’t bad enough she hung up the phone numerous times. Now we are also having excuse after excuse for our holding deposit back after a month.
Would avoid at all costs! Not one good thing to say about our experience.

Hi I’ve been looking for a property for quite some time and had almost given up then I spoke to Fiona spahiu and some of the other staff at walderslade before long I had a couple of viewings and fingers crossed it continues to go well thanks guys for your help so far friday

Booked a viewing for a property they did not turn up or respond to contact to find out why and to rebook.

The worse company!

We have had nothing put issues. Ryan from property management was attending at 12 or just after for a property inspection, he called at 12:17 and told me he was just leaving Ashford and would be 15-20 minutes, I said this was fine. We waited until 13:00, I called him and asked where he was he said he was still 20 minutes away, I told him we would need to reschedule because he is too late and I need to leave. He then told me he did not tell me he would be 20 minutes but told me he would 20 minutes late which he did not!
He was very rude and abrupt I then told him I’m not sure when I would next be avalible as my partner works from home, he told me we could do a weekend but of course I said no as I am not waiting another day for no reason. He was very very rude and I would not recommend to anyone!

Currently waiting for the manager to call. Which I doubt they will.
UPDATE- HAVE BEEN TOLD 3 TIMES A MANAGER WOULD CALL AND STILL WAITING!.

After the super support from Kirsty when viewing and putting an offer in on our dream property we was so very lucky to have the amazing support of Emily on helping us through to completion. Emily had been a rock and completely puts me at ease and always goes above and beyond her role to please and support all within the chain. Never a struggle to get through to the team and always very response to emails. During what has been such a difficult year knowing I can easily get hold of the team has been a blessing. Emily is always such a pleasure to talk to and helps melt away the stress.
If anyone is thinking of selling or purchasing through the Walderslade office do so with the knowledge you are in the very best hands.
