If you connected with sutton housing parnership ltd, the property i inspected is the pits, so dangerous, water boiler over electric meter and much more, this old house is falling down , heard the song, connects to a tee with the health and saftey abused of of life on tennants with children.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. HEALTH AND SAFETY VIOLATIONS!
Where do I start? If I could give 0 I would.

We were looking for a house to rent and Haart showed us a property in Wimbledon. The property needed work but we were told categorically that the walls would be painted, all the repairs would be done and not to worry, it will all be sorted by the time we move in (which was in 10 days time). We reiterated this would all be fixed and professionally cleaned due to COVID and Joshua on the Wimbledon branch said Yes!

We asked to see the property again close to the move in date, and we’re told we weren’t able to due to repairs and painting taking place. We asked again and same response. On the day of moving in, we were told to pick up the keys from the office due to short staff and no one would assist us.

We collected and entered the house and soon realised why… NOTHING had been done. Full of lies. On top of that was a serious breach of Covid, nothing cleaned, dust and filth everywhere (I’m talking your socks would turn brown with filth). A dirty used mattress lay in the middle of the living room. Cupboard had old condensation bags with marks on it. The stairs had an odour, and a USED bin in the toilet with OLD sanitary towels, hair and tissues sitting.

The kitchen sink was blocked and we had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. The toilet seat completely broken, the shower broken and not suitable for personal hygiene, the heavy duty glass shower door fallen of the hinges and hazard risk as it fell on my father. The back garden fence was completely broken and exposed, the front patio door was broken, the toilet lock broke while I was in it. Cobwebs everywhere inside, black dirty around the windows etc. Carpet had black marks all over it. No carbon monoxide or smoke alarm. Countless things and I could keep going on. It was then passed onto Sutton branch as it clearly seems Joshua was not assed to help and had completely deceived us.
Please look at the pictures and tell me if this was repaired and professionally cleaned?! They even tried to tell us the carpet was professionally cleaned!!!!! This is where Arran then picks it up.

Did Haart help? No. Did we email/call every single day for 15 days until I threatened to take it legally (which I will be doing!) as they had completely violated housing act, and only then did they pass it onto the Landlord. The landlord then got in touch and told us that Arran at Haart had not even informed them for 9 days that there were issues and they had only found out now. They sent round a professional cleaning company once I kicked up a fuss and called the citizen bureau who told us they did not know how we were still there…

It’s shocking such a property was handed over in the state that it was. Even more shocking the lack of service. Images attached in my Google review as proof, please go see it there.
Disgusting service from Joshua- extremely unprofessional. Minimal help from Arran. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

UPDATE: area director emailed to say she had conducted an investigation and closed the case with no further update. Funny how this investigation did not include speaking to any of us as the tenants or even the neighbours who had to get involved. what kind of shoddy investigation is that?!

FURTHER UPDATE: the environmental health council had to get involved and deemed the property unsafe until the fix the property!

FURTHER UPDATE: we moved out over 3 months ago and still waiting for our deposit. It’s just full of excuses from Haart and NOONE is responding to our emails. We send three weekly and until I call and demand answers, no one bothers.

DISGUSTING SERVICE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

Have tried for 3 days to get through to the Haart Sutton (Surrey) branch to get some property details and arrange viewings. Instead, calls go to Head Office overflow call centre and they pass on messages to the branch to return calls, which the branch do not. Then learn that the complaint procedure in in stages - first of which is to send complaint over to the branch (!) and if they can't resolve it within 5 business days, the branch then provide an escalation address/contact...yes, you've read that correctly, the BRANCH Manager gives you an address, which for all a complainant may know is a bogus address or that of a friend/neighbour/relative, etc. No wonder the branches are under no obligation to provide a decent service. The real losers in all this are the people who entrust the Haart charlatans to get their properties sold/rented for them.

I'm renting in London over 6 years and I never had to deal with such a horrible company! When we left the rented property they wanted to charge us nearly 500£ for professional cleaning even though it wasn't mentioned in our contract! We left flat spotless anyway! Rude and unprofessional agents, especially Arran Weeraratne! Don't be fooled by good reviews, they ask for them when people move in to the properties. After money are taken good customer service is off the window! Another thing is that the contact with agency is very poor! During our tenancy we waited 6 weeks for new washing machine when old one broke down! In short, AVOID THEM! WOSRT AGENCY ON EARTH!

Lee resolved an annoying minor administrative problem with sensitivity and ease - his aim being to maintain a good long term customer relationship.

Amazing service, above and beyond my expectations. The property agent who assisted me, Rosie, was an absolute godsend during an incredibly stressful time. The original flat I was supposed to take suddenly became unavailable due to a major water leak and I don't know if the agency was legally obligated to find me another place, but they did and everything worked out in the end. Rosie even gave me her personal mobile number and accepted my calls on weekends when everything about my move seemed to be falling apart. I'm very happy with my experience with Haart and I hope they can keep up this level of service without overworking their staff.

It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Amanda Keogh. She is prompt and helpful. Amanda goes the extra mile to make sure she delivers excellent Customer Service. She is an asset to Haart !

Received good services by Amanda from Sutton branch. As a property manager she is quite helpful and address the issue asap. Also follow up checks are done to make sure we are happy. Good experience so far and hope to see the same level of commitment from the team.
