Despite the high demand during the Tire Technology Expo in Hannover, they provided us with high-quality Exhibition Housing Services at a reasonable rate. Special thanks to Mr. Roman. We had a group booking of 60 rooms in Spain, and he managed all the changes and amendments seamlessly and hassle-free.

Additionally, they provided excellent added value by arranging daily land transportation (bus service) for our staff from the event to the hotel.

We booked around 60 rooms through GTA Expo Housing 2 years in advance and paid 100% upfront. The booking included breakfast, free cancellation, and a hotel 2 minutes walking distance from the exhibition venue—absolutely essential for us as exhibitors.

Less than one month before the event, they informed us that our rooms were gone due to overbooking. Completely unacceptable and, judging by online reviews, clearly a pattern, not an exception.

Despite a contractual clause forbidding relocation unless the hotel was of equal level and distance, they ignored the contract and forced us into a hotel 30 minutes away by car. With 60 employees arriving, we had no choice but to accept.

On arrival, breakfast was not included, and we were charged extra per person per day for 7 days. We also had to arrange and pay for daily transportation ourselves since they were unwilling to do so themselves. GTA Expo Housing promised reimbursement.

They never reimbursed us.

Instead, after endless arguments, they issued a useless credit note to be spent only on their website. After this experience, we would never book with them again, making the credit worthless.

Overbooking, broken contracts, false promises, and zero accountability.
Unreliable, unprofessional, and damaging for any company attending trade fairs or even single individuals that don't need those type of surprises on their so deserved holidays.

Do not trust this company.

We had a terrible experience using GTA Travel.

They were the recommended supplier for a trade show we were working at and we originally spoke to Jane who offered us good rates for a hotel that were all fully refundable close to the venue so we booked some rooms with Roman who again told many times that the deposit we put down was 100% refundable.

Closer to the show we then received an email to say that our rooms were cancelled due to an overbooking and they offered us rooms at other hotels that were miles away from where we were working which we declined. This was a lie because we then booked the hotel we wanted directly with the hotel.

We were told by Roman that our refund would be processed and we would receive this within 20-30 business days. We did not receive this refund and when we then chased this with Roman, we were told that it was not actually a refund but a credit note which we could use on another booking, after many emails back and forth they refused to give us the refund as promised when we made the booking.

We then had no choice but to try to use this credit on another booking, however we were then offered extortionate rates which we could get for almost half the price elsewhere, which when we questioned with Roman was accused us of faking the screenshots we sent him with the cheaper rates.

We had no choice other than to pay the extortionate rates offered just to our credit they were refusing to give back, and when we did were then told that we could only use 10% for that specific booking, it was only after lots of emails back and forth and threatening to share out experience online that they agreed to use all of our credit for the booking if we left them a good review, well that has backfired.

So in summary, do not use this company, they will reel you in with good rates on a hotel just to take your money, then try to move you to an unsuitable hotel so they can keep your money and use this to make huge profits on other bookings, which they will try to drag over as many booking as possible by saying, 'their supplier only allow this percentage' to be used on this booking.

We experienced the same thing as rhe other 1’star reviews. This is 100% a scam. Cancelled two weaks ahead and offered us a much worse hotel. We then wanted to cancel, but then they introduced new policies. Also, we got in touch originally booked whom told us they never put in the order in the first place. The amount is many thousand euros, which they are nor giving back besides e voucher which can only be redeemed through their services, which do not exist.

Avoid Roman Anderson. Tried calling them several times and seems like a callcenter scam. Worst experience ever, which will be followed up further.

We booked a hotel with them last year for METSTRADE event in Amsterdam.
Two weeks before the event they contacted to say that the booking had been cancelled with the hotel and offered different accommodation - this was further away and VERY unsuitable.
The original hotel still had rooms but GTA wanted additional money from us for the same hotel rooms - we refused.
After much backwards and forwards they agreed to a refund.
When I chased for said refund they said they take 25% cancellation fees out. Another battle and we said fine, we will have the refund less 25%, they said it would take 20-30 business days.
After chasing once again they sent a credit note and refused to transfer the money back.

This year they have been in touch again regarding the METSTRADE event in Amsterdam, so we thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt and book with them so we can use our credit note.
However we have been told that we can only use half of the credit note as the supplier will only allow half to be used. GTA's response was 'As for the credit itself, when you paid us, we have paid the supplier in return in order to pay for the rooms and confirm them. Therefore, the money itself was never in our actual possession'.
I can not express how frustrated I am with this awful company and customer service.
They are completely fraudulent and I have no idea how they can even call themselves a company!!!

I used their services for booking a hotel for JEC 2025. There were some problems with the original hotel and they were kind enough to quickly book with a different hotel for the same price straight next to the original location.

This year we had a group trip to Frankfurt which was a very important event for our company, as we invested a lot into this, and our team was considerable large (33 people in total). We worked with GTA Travel to book our stay in Frankfurt.

We booked two different hotels, both were good enough for the budget we chose (4* in this case), so the flexibility provided by the guys from GTA was a big plus as they tried very hard to find us the best options in terms of distance from the city and budget.

Especially in a period of such demand, I think the guys did a pretty good job, especially as we stated the entire process very late.

We had a small setback with some miscommunication between us, GTA and one of the hotels regarding some extra nights and guest changes, but everything was handled professionally and clarified quickly by Roman, so everything went pretty well in the end.

What I can say is both John and Roman gave us a lot of information and clarifications to our question along the way and they were very helpful from the beginning till the end.

We booked with them 3 rooms in Amsterdam during for PRSE exhibition, they confirmed everything and we paid the entire amount of the reservation.

After two weeks they informed us there's been an overbooking in the hotel we chose and that they re-booked our room in a different hotel (even claiming they paid an upgrade to our rooms for the incovenience).

The new hotel is much worse than the one we paid for and the price on the hotel's website is lower then the one we paid. In addition to this, room were still available in the first hotel, both on the hotel's website and on Booking.com.

We asked for a refund but they want to apply a 25% cancellation fee. This is unacceptable, you cannot ask a customer to pay anything when you are unable to provide the service you granted in the first place.
Completely unprofessional!

Update 24.3.2025: As today, we received a confirmation for the first hotel we asked them to book. Hope everything runs smoothly next week!

Update 04.04.2025: Luckily my colleagues are back and there weren't other surprises.
In the end, we got the rooms we booked and paid for in the first place.

My feeling is that if I had not written this bad review on here, they would have kept playing with us (with partial refund or other hotel we did not agreed on).
Once they saw it, they "magically" found the rooms in the right hotel and kept asking to change it into a 5-stars review as they solved our issue (I think this was really unbelievable as they created the issue in the first place).

My advice is not to use this service, they made me waste e a lot of time and it was really frustrating.

I had a highly disappointing experience with GTA Travel L.L.C. They initially seemed reliable, offering to book a hotel in Munich for us. After verifying with the hotel, we proceeded with payment. However, a month before our check-in, they claimed the booking was canceled by the hotel for unexplained reasons.

When I contacted the hotel directly, I learned that the booking was canceled by GTA Travel L.L.C. because they never paid the hotel. Instead of resolving the issue, they attempted to move us to a much inferior hotel at the same price.

Now, they refuse to provide a proper refund. They demand 25% cancellation fees and offer the rest as a credit note—a PDF with no legal validity.

Attempts to resolve this issue through customer support have been frustratingly unproductive.
This experience has severely diminished my trust in GTAexpohousing and its ability to honor its guarantees. I expected a reputable platform to act with integrity and ensure that customers are treated fairly.
Should this matter be resolved promptly, I am willing to revisit this review to reflect a positive resolution. However, as it stands, I cannot recommend GTA Travel L.L.C. to others.
I urge GTA Travel L.L.C to take immediate action to rectify this situation.

I strongly advise others to avoid using this agency. They are untrustworthy, unprofessional, and not transparent in their dealings. Proceed with extreme caution if you consider working with them.
