Went in to buy some new walking boots, the service Miranda delivered was excellent, lots of knowledge and got the boots I wanted, a very easy process.

Knowledgeable staff member.
Visited today for some new hiking/trecking shoes. What a pleasant experience. Served by Caitlin B who was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable on the products avaliable, all with a smile.
After going through the relevant products one was selected. The same staff member then accompanied us to the coat department and was equally helpful in selecting the right coat and base layer to suit requirements.
All in all a great visit and will return when the need arises.

Well worth the visit to Go Outdoors Skipton to buy new walking shoes
Was browsing in the walking shoe/boot section couldn’t see what i wanted then Chloe came to help she found the shoes I had been interested in unfortunately they weren’t suitable but Chloe spent a lot of time with me finding shoes that were right for me thank you so much In conclusion I was very impressed with the shop and the staff who looked after me

Great advice for novice walker
Having not purchased walking boots for some years I had some great advice from Miranda who was so patient and provided excellent knowledge in terms of answering my questions! I purchased HiTec summit walking boots along with bargain socks and boot cleaner! Pity Go Outdoors can't influence the weather, wind and cold I can deal with incessant rain is something else! 🤣

Good quality outdoor wear at competitive prices.
Shopped in store for some RAB waterproof trousers and some gaiters. Members of staff were friendly and helpful, and prices competitive. Very pleased with my purchases and the overall shopping experience.

Great shop assist, great purchases
I had a very helpful shop assistant, Miranda, who listened to what I was asking for; she was friendly, respectful of my space, was straight forward in her advice and left me me make my choices and decide what and whether I wanted to buy.
I bought exactly what I needed for my trip to Spain, including waterproof phone bag, secure wallet for bank cards, an appropriately sized rucksack (for flight luggage and holiday use) and mini-padlocks for security. I was delighted also to find a top-quality duvet jacket with pockets for passport, wallet, phone etc.. Thank you for your service, Miranda.
I'm travelling light AND fully equiped!
