Poor phone service
Our scouts and guides have bought many items from go outdoors but trying to get through to the Pudsey store by phone is almost impossible… very frustrating!!!
We want to buy 6 or 7 Berghaus Air shelters but just want to see one up to be sure it’s suitable… We may do better at Blacks!! Very poor. And finally on the 5th attempt I got through. Then they were helpful

Excellent service at Pudsey
Went to Pudsey store to buy some walking boots, was served by Kevin, utterly lovely, very professional in fact he showed me how to tie my boot laces, you may laugh but I was torn between two pairs of boots, he then showed me how tying the laces correctly can make such a difference in terms of comfort.
He was knowledgeable & I was really lucky to have him serve me.
If you need boots, Go Outdoors is the place, you need see & try them on.
If you go to Pudsey do ask for Kevin he knows his Scarpa from his Peter Storm😉

I wanted a waterproof jacket from a reputable manufacturer. I didn't want to pay for a top-of-the-range item. I have an issue with a stiff and painful shoulder. I wasn't sure what size would work. Amy B. saw my struggles to find a jacket and came over to help. She was knowledgeable about the items on sale, straightforwardly polite and helpful. Went in and asked a member of staff for…
Went in and asked a member of staff for prices on 2 pairs of working boots. Accepted prices and went to pay. There was then £15 added to the bill unless I payed them £5 for a membership card. I explained I had been given the price by their staff and was not told about any membership card. Will never shop here again and will let anyone I can know about this stealth tax the store are trying to blackmail people into paying at point of sale

Been coming here for a few years now from Halifax - most of the staff are friendly, helpful, and give us good discounts as a scout group (who spend alot of money at the store!). Katie was fab today, as was Kat recently, and John the tents fella. Overall good experience.
