I bought a pair of walking shoes there today. Was served by Charlotte. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Very pleased with the visit.

I bought some walking boots and Helen was fantastic, so helpful and honest. Highly recommend the shop and service.

All staff asked me what I was looking for and so was directed straight to the product

I had a day off last Thursday. I went into town in Llandudno to do some shopping for the weekend. I walked past Go Outdoors on Mostyn Street. I thought I'd go in there to check it out even though it was a small store. Normally, they're quite big stores in retail parks. The week before I went to the one in Bangor and couldn't find the same Berghaus Rain Motion jacket that I came across in another Go Outdoors in Stockport. So I thought I'd try this little one in Llandudno. I looked around. I couldn't find the jacket. One of the members of staff, Cally asked me if I needed any help. I told her I saw the jacket in Stockport but I didn't buy it at the time, a month ago. Now, I'd really want to get it, especially for a good climbing friend's birthday. I told her I tried to look in the Bangor store but to no avail. I asked if they could check the stock in other branches. She said she would need the barcode of the product. I did take a picture of it but the barcode was a bit blurry so they couldn't find it straightaway. Then, she asked the supervisor, Ashley to help. He immediately got on the computer. A few moments later, he found the jacket. Then, he located some stock in the Chester store which was perfect as I was going to travel out of Wales the next day to go to work in Lincolnshire at the weekend. So he rang Chester store and reserved the jacket for me. I was a little over the moon as I regretted I didn't buy the one in Stockport and thought I couldn't find another one at a good price that Go Outdoors offers for DofE leaders.

Our visit to go outdoors today was really good, Ashley was really helpful when my husband was buying new Merril walking trainers, and Cally very helpful with information when I bought my Rab outdoor coat. I decided to get the Berghaus Maitland jacket after much deliberation and talking to fellow walkers. I went into the Llandudno store to make my purchase to find it was not in stock. The staff were so helpful and following their advice I ordered my jacket online to be delivered to the store. I was advised of its progress and picked it up when I received a message to say it had arrived and was ready to collect. I tried it to check it was okay, it was absolutely perfect, really pleased with it. This is why the high street store is still so important. Thank you to the great staff at Llandudno branch.

Popped in to buy a new pair of boots and couldn’t be happier with the service. Helen assisted me and she was wonderful. It’s rare to get such genuine customer service these days. A really positive shopping experience overall!

I went in on to try some walking shoes as I was in desperate need to get some as I was silly enough to be walking with just flat vans on.
Helen spent I think an hour helping me try on numerous walking shoes, helping with which insoles to go for due to my collapsed arches, and answering all the questions I had about the shoes and what would work for me. She could not have been any more helpful and was such a friendly person.
Ashley was also very helpful in helping me with another query later in the day which was really appreciated. The team here are a credit to Go Outdoors.

I’ve always experienced a genuine cheery welcome when visiting the Llandudno store. Staff are happy to let you browse, but are always there to answer any questions you may have, or offer advice when requested. On this occasion I was looking for a particular brand of Merrell shoe which was unavailable at my local store in Stoke-on-Trent. When I noticed a similar pair on display, Tricia was on hand to help and answer all the questions I asked. Subsequently, after trying on the shoes, I left the store completely satisfied with my purchase. Great service!

Warmly welcomed when entering the store. Staff allowed the time to browse and were extremely helpful without being overbearing. Tricia was very knowledgeable and helpful. Store was well laid out with a good selection of products. Both husband and I left happy with our purchases.
