The lady at the till was quite rude I offered my membership number, she declined then asked for post code, when that did not work she asked for email when that did not work she asked a member of the team to assist who bought my account up with membership number that she stated was never offered. It was offered as it used to show date if confirmation of purchase

Unbelievable
Bought a rab alpine jacket costing £154.00 pounds from go outdoors in January after a couple of weeks took it back as it was losing feathers after speaking to the manager he said you would lose some feathers but not a lot , today went back again as there was a hole in the inside of the sleeve again spoke to the manager he believes the material has maybe had some sort of chemical or something spilled on it as the material looks different compared to the rest of it , the jacket has never been washed or anything I couldn’t believe what i was hearing but he says it’s not a manufacturer fault so there’s nothing they can do I will never ever shop in this place again that’s for sure

Condescending staff
The member of staff in the shoe department was condescending and incredibly rude, he really couldn't be bothered to deal with any customers. If I hadn't needed the shoes today I would have gone elsewhere. But for sure I'll not be shopping there again.

Great range of walking boots, good price, helpful staff.
Visited to buy winter walking boots and was very impressed by the range, including quality European brands like Meindl, and the prices. Very helpful service from Jakub, and friendly staff in general.

We were looking for a specific walking boot. The sales person was very helpful, was knowledgeable about the product and also knew there was a boot that wasn’t on display. All the staff were friendly and seemed genuinely interested and engaging with their customers

I was assisted by Georgia who helped me select the perfect pair of walking shoes
I was assisted by Georgia who helped me choose a pair of walking shoes. I visited the store on a Saturday and a Sunday because I usually have real difficulty getting the correct fit. She had a good understanding of what was on offer in the store and selected a number of products that fitted the bill.
Georgia was very patient with me, as I tried on a number different makes and width fittings. Finally settled on the perfect pair of shoes on the Sunday without being rushed at all even though it was getting close to the closing time of 4pm.
