I was looking for a lightweight jacket went in store couldn't climb the stairs mason went out of his way and bought them to me he done excellent in choice, I brought one for a lady of 75 his service manner was amazing I was also on holiday well done mason

Mason is amazing at go outdoors Chichester. We went in to purchase items for my daughters DofE. He had a list of everything we needed to purchase. He spent an hour us going through what we needed, which items would be best and DoFe recommend and why. He has fantastic knowledge from his experience of camping. Giving my daughter tips and recommendations from his personal experience. Not sure what his position is at Go Outdoors but if he is not a manager or someone further up in the store he really needs to be. I would now go back to shop only at the Chichester store because of his knowledge and his amazing guidance in purchasing everything my daughter required as she only gave me a weeks notice to advise they needed the whole kit for their practice walk the following weekend !
She has now done her practice walk and boots were comfortable and the rest of the kit seems to be perfect .
Thank you so much Mason for making things so much easier in what could of been a stressful situation trying to get everything last minute.

Pleasant service from Victor, though twice I've been in to the branch in the last month and I had to seek assistance from the assistants rather than vice versa. I appreciate some customers prefer this, but on the first visit I gave up and left! However, also impressive was the very enthusiastic duty manager, who spotted my NHS lanyard and investigated whether I was entitled to a further 10% off. I wasn't, but it was good of him to look! I'll be back!

Brilliant customer service in Go outdoors this week in Chichester store. I was returning a faulty pair of Merrell walking boots which were out of warranty but was told they should’ve lasted longer than they did. Luckily had my original receipt, and together with the knowledge from Adam, Lisa, Annabel and the manager Mason, they kindly replaced my boots for me, and decided on choosing an extremely comfortable pair of Scarpas after trying a few other styles and brands on. Fantastic service, very patient and so professional, and they couldn’t do enough to sort the problem out, especially as I’d tried on two occasions to email Merrell directly with no success. Over two visits to the shop this week, I came away very happy. Thankyou to the team in Chichester store, five star service!

I visited GO Outdoors in Chichester today to purchase a pair of waterproof walking boots. The young man who served me was extremely professional. He was very knowledgeable about the product, courteous and respectful. My friend and I visited GoOutdoirs for the first time. We were greeted at the door which was opened for us by Mason. He showed us to the area we were interested in and could not have been more helpful. He was polite, professional and went out of his way to find what zi was looking for. It was an excellent experience. We will be returning on our next visit to Chichester. Only drawback was the ladies dept. was upstairs so we were not able to see other products as I am a wheelchair user. However, I am sure Mason would have brought down anything we wanted to see.

I rang Chichester store this morning as I realised that I had been given the wrong size shoes when I purchased them in the previous few weeks. The manager was really helpful and checked stock and confirmed I could exchange them for the correct size. On visiting the store today the staff assistant who initially served me appeared disinterested. He contacted the manager to came and help me with my query. During the resolution of my query the initial staff assistant was asked to get the replacement boots. He returned with shoes meaning the manager had to go and get the boots. The sales assistant assumed a position of leaning on the display totally unengaged with myself and another customer. When I informed him it had been boots and not shoes I wanted he couldn’t care less. He responded I did what I was asked. The manager resolved my issue and I left the store. On leaving my wife stated it was the same staff member who had sold me the boot originally and had given me the wrong size pair of the two sizes I was trying.

Brilliant service ...all staff were on the ball. Definitely quality products so I'm very happy around.
