Joe was brilliant, very patient letting me try on pretty much every hiking shoe in the shop until I found the one I wanted, very knowledgeable too, nice to have someone who knows what they are talking about to speak to, especially with patience to boot, thanks Joe :)

Very good customer service, had a guy help me the whole experience making sure I got the right tent for the trip at hand

Bought Vango Tempest Air Pump

Had enquiry around a product, and if they had any more stock. New sales assistant Adam, in the job 3 days approahed our questions with calm and confidence, and when he wasn't able to assist us anymore directed us to a senior collegue. I hope the company keeps this individual as i can see him being a great asset to them

Absolutely brilliant experience at GO Outdoors on 25.5.26. Jed was incredibly patient, professional, and genuinely willing to help.

We'd come away camping and unfortunately our airbed failed, so we needed an immediate replacement. The challenge was that we had no electricity to inflate it, only a mobile battery pack. Jed went above and beyond: he got permission to opened the box to check everything for me, helped make sure it would work with our setup, carried it to the checkout (thanks to Holly at that point), and he even helped put it into my car.

Fantastic engagement and customer service from start to finish. It’s rare to come across people so willing to help without hesitation.

Great store, easy to find items you require and then more that you didn't think you needed. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Staff at the checkout were great, Lucy was chatty and not rushed which was great as my good lady and Lucy chatted about upcoming holidays. Throughly recommended for all camping, walking, hiking, climbing and fishing needs.

Nick who looks after the angling section was fantastic and so helpful.I have not fished for over 20 years and he talked me through all the latest items and was not pushy. I would 100% recommend him.

Adam the manager at the Canterbury outlet was very helpful when I visited to collect my order, some of my items hadn't arrived when they should have but Adam sorted it for me.

Went in today to the Canterbury shop to exchange a camping cabinet which was absolutely smashed to pieces. The young lady Lucy who served us was very polite and friendly and made a quick and easy exchange for us. We checked the new one over before we left this time. She made the process quick and simple and to be honest it felt like we were just purchasing a new item rather than replacing a damaged one.

Made an online order for click and collect. It stated I would get a follow up email when my items were ready to collect from store. After 12 days and getting ever closer to the date of me needing my ordered items, I still hadn't received a confirmation email they were ready.
So I made a trip over to the store on the last possible day before going away and after some initial confusion where the store computer said I had already collected part of my order, they finally confirmed my items were there waiting for me to collect.
Staff did say that others had also not had a collection email.
Staff were fantastic, very helpful, absolutely no complaints regarding them or the store,just an issue with the click and collect system itself.

Not just this time. I place an order for collection for items that are showing in stock. A few days later the order gets cancelled and I receive a refund. This as happened on a number if occasions. You really need to get your stock control in order.

Phoned the store when they opened to ask about some camping gas I needed that day and they were so helpful and told me they had some in stock .
I spoke to Craig and said I'd be right over.
On arrival at the store I was greeted by Craig at the entrance , introduced myself and he took me straight to the product I needed.
Then I ask about a small camping table and he took me straight to those which I purchased .
The service was excellent and very professional, some other stores could learn a lot from professionals like this .
