I would give no stars if I could. I agree with the many comments - avoid at all cost!

David Burnett is a good promiser, but never delivers. I’ve had the same nonsense where he has promised delivery, along with a free gift, but nothing ever arrives. I agree with the description of him being a con artist, because he’s taken my money and there’s no sign of anything being delivered. What is quite humorous is his profile on LinkedIn, where he claims that his company offers exceptional customer service and a super fast turn around time from order to delivery. I don’t know what planet he’s on, but it’s not the same one as me.

My daughter’s club stopped using his company because he did the same to them. I wish I had known this before I placed my order and threw almost £100 down the drain. He should be ashamed of himself, particularly with money being so tight for everybody at the moment, but I guess that people like him just don’t care. It’s disgraceful!

I’ve also had a look on Company House and unless he’s trading under a different name, I can’t find him in there. This rings major alarm bells for me!

I’ve reported him to XRay and Trading Standards, so hopefully one or both of them will pick the story up and run with it. I would encourage everybody affected by him to do the same.

3 members of our club ordered team wear in April 2022, but No one has received the items, 2 members have given up on chasing and the other has been promised several resolutions but has yet to have anything.

Recently purchased kits for Pill U16s and some tracksuits for us coaches and although there was a slight delay in them getting here due to some delivery issues, the quality was outstanding and the team look great. David kept us to date throughout and even done free hoodies for the whole team 21 hoodies to be exact he done this as an apology for the delay with the kits. This was unexpected and highly appreciated considering the delay was out of his control. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for kits or teamwear.

If it was a score based on the kit alone it would be 5 stars however there was a slight delay with the order which isn’t the end of the world but enough to not give the full 5 star. Maybe a 4.5 would be more accurate. The company was upfront when there was a delay with our kit and teamwear due to some customs issues but when they did arrive, David went out of his way to personally drop them off to us. He also did free beanies for the team as an apology. Would definitely use again when we grow out of these!

Bought kits for my son for his Football centre and they were outstanding quality. There was a week delay due to postal strikes however was kept informed by the company and offered a free gift for the delay (which was out of their control).

You expected some delays with sportswear brands at the moment with everything going on, however as I was kept up to date throughout, it was not a problem and the kit was definitely worth the wait! Would 100% recommend!

Really surprised to see some of the negative reviews on here however looking at this company’s instagram account they clearly do hundreds of kits so maybe it’s just unfortunate that a small percentage of their customers have had a poor experience and decided to post.

Please avoid this company. I supplied this company with some socks for a club and still yet to recieve payment (David owes me over £200) Ive contacted David numerrous times by email or phone and not heard anything. I am now looking to take him to a small claims court

If I could give -stars I would. Joke of a company lies after lies. South wales is a small place and one mention of this company comes back with the same response. Sadly children are left without kits and have to train alongside players who look the part and feel inferior.

I’m still waiting 3 months plus for my order….how they can call themselves a business astounds me, con artists would be more appropriate for this company.

I know of people/clubs who have gone to trading standards and even watch dog.

Where do I start!!! Ordered kit for our son back in October and told 28 working days. It’s now end of January and still no kit, constantly being lied to regarding delivery. Received emails saying your items will be sent out next week in November, offered free gifts, all lies. At the start of January told we would get discount on our next order again a pack of lies no kit arrived, I would advise that no one use this company as you will be disappointed.

PLEASE STAY CLEAR !!!

I didn’t even want to give one star. Absolute Mickey Mouse company who take your money and then fob you off with excuse after excuse (when they reply!). The guy genuinely believes his own lies.

Ordered kit for Christmas in October. Still yet to get it and it’s mid January.

PayPal is on the case to get my money back.

Placed an order for some kit for my sons football academy in October and still no goods. I have sent 12 emails and 24 twitter messages to this seller. Some I’ve had responses some not. When I have had a response it’s always a case of “I’m sending it this week with a free gift” etc or “I’ve sent it but don’t have a record of sending it” or I’m in the warehouse now sending it” but each time nothing. I’ve requested a refund 4 times but nothing. I have also said I was willing to travel to the site to collect the goods or cash refund but now being ignored. currently (and for the last 3 months) GB Sportswear £109 of my money but I have no goods - seriously stay away !!!!!!

Awful experience ordered football kit for my boys football club academy on 28th Sept. Was told to wait 28days for dispatch notice which never came. I chased this a number of times and had no response. My boys club chased it to be told there was problems with customs. Had dispatch notice beginning of November, have requested tracking number so many times and have been ignored and guess what….still no kit. Avoid this place! I am awaiting PayPal to investigate.

This company does not even require 1 star, absolutely shocking service. Ordered 2 x football kits 26th oct 2022 for xmas presents for my grandsons. dispite numerous emails,texts and messages very little responce. Any responce was been sent will provide tracking, the tracking was not even for my order,absolute disgraceful service. Still waiting delivery have just made a dispute through pay pal 30/12/2022

Ordered 09 Sep and promised maximum of 28 days delivery. Finally received the order on 18 Nov after much chasing and little or no response. 20+ emails were sent to David Burnett after the passed delivery date of which only 4 were responded to. I also made countless phone calls none of which were answered but ringing back to back was the only way for David to reply to an email.
In those emails David only gave excuses and lied, claiming the order had already been sent and would need to be redone and promising to include a free gift for the delay. When the order finally arrived it came with no free gift and neither the shorts or socks matched the products advertised on the website. I raised this and David has not responded unsurprisingly. I have friends awaiting orders that were placed before mine and he has been equally unresponsive. A terrible experience and would encourage everyone to avoid this company, unprofessional bordering on criminal behaviour.

I'd actually give this company an extra star if the owner were at least able to keep up with his own BS without constantly tripping himself up. Lie after lie, after lie. One minute the kits are in and being sent out, then they're at Heathrow customs awaiting clearance! I've lost count of every time he's said they would be with us "by the end of the week". Avoid at all costs if you value your time, sanity and have any hope of receiving the kits you've paid for.

EDIT: In response to the reply from GB Sportswear - the fact you are unable to work out which club I am from speaks volumes, since there are clearly so, so many of us who have been fed the same pack of lies. If you stuck to the high levels of customer service you promise when clubs first make contact, then surely reviews such as mine would be a rarity, rather than the norm, and you'd be able to narrow it down to the odd bad experience you've provided here or there. I imagine trying to work out which club each negative review is from is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. This "apology" is clearly all for show, in an attempt to gain new customers, hoping they may overlook the bad reviews and think they're just a one-off, or the odd disgruntled customer here or there who has taken to this site to vent their frustrations. The reality is that there are an awful lot of us who have had an horrendous experience with a company who has complete disregard for the legal rights of their customers once they have parted with their money, who have to spend months and months chasing, only to receive the same lies that most reviews on here have mentioned. The pattern is obvious. This "apology" is NOT the kind of customer service you will get if you are unfortunate enough to make the mistake of giving your money to GB Sportswear. I'm sure there are some who don't have a bad experience - but there are far, far more that do have a bad one, who give their money in good faith, only to spend months and months chasing and being palmed off with empty promises that are never kept.

SECOND EDIT FOLLOWING SECOND RESPONSE FROM GB SPORTSWEAR: I think we'll leave it there. I think it's very evident for everyone to see this isn't a case of "one bad review" from thousands of kits. The reviews on here - which can't be deleted like those on social media by you - speak for themselves.

Scammed no product no refund and lied to on a weekly basis. 4 months and still waiting

If I could give them 0 stars or less, I would have done. Quite honestly I am APPALLED with the service of this company. My club have been waiting for our dresses for months and the customer services received is a joke. The company on Twitter told me multiple times the dresses had been dispatched without receiving any confirmation of this or tracking information. They have since ignored multiple messages on Twitter dms, emails and submitting a message on the website. I have since received a shipping email but the dresses have not emerged and other emails to different members of the club have lots of different reasons about where the dresses are, some saying they are at customs, some saying they are at their office, some saying they’ve been dispatched. There is no clear communication from their dreadful company and it has now left our club without dresses for our matches. I have seen other people have had similar experiences with this company and I urge everyone NOT to ever order with them. I am awaiting a refund for my products for no idea how long that will last.

Waited for over 3 months for this company to dispatch out items.

We were constantly told they were on the way etc.

Then they stopped replying despite chasing them. Constantly being told conflicting info such as they are in the warehouse and staff are going through them, then they hadn’t arrived from the manufacturers, then they had, then they were stuck in customs.

Each member of the club has been told a different excuse. Demanded full refunds and we was told the orders are in the unit and if we cancel PayPal disputes we will receive them. I did just that and then I was told the order was being checked. Later that evening we was told that he did not in fact even have the orders in his possession.

For 3 months all he has produced is lies and excuses. When leaving honest reviews on their social media I have been blocked and comments deleted.

If you check Twitter, we are not the only ones who have been let down.
Do not order from this company.

Still no product, no communication and no refund!
