Sales were great however the installation not so great as the electrical outlets on one side of the bed are not working.
The install team said they would report it but when I called customer services the next day it had not been reported even though it was on the post delivery notes

Absolutely shocking experience with Furniture Village Slough branch.
We spent nearly £5,000 on a bed with an electronic lifting/storage system, and the mechanism did not even work on the very first day it was installed. The delivery and installation team from Furniture Village themselves saw that the bed was faulty and informed their aftercare team or management.
Because of this, we immediately decided we wanted to exchange the bed, as it was brand new and already faulty on day one. I was already concerned that this would become an ongoing problem in the future.
We went back to the Slough branch and spoke to one of the managers, Michael, who asked us not to exchange the bed yet. He reassured us by saying these things can happen and promised that someone would contact us the following week to arrange a repair.
We trusted their word and decided to give them another chance.
However, nobody called.
An entire week passed with no update, no phone call, and no repair arranged. I then had to chase the branch myself again, making multiple phone calls to customer service and visiting the showroom again in person. Every time, we were promised that someone would contact us “next week” and that the issue would be sorted.
Again, nobody called.
At this point, we are completely fed up and extremely frustrated. We feel ignored despite spending thousands of pounds. Nobody is taking responsibility, nobody is arranging a repair, and nobody is helping us exchange the faulty bed.
It honestly feels like they are simply delaying things until the exchange period runs out, which is extremely unfair and unacceptable customer service.
It’s been nearly 6/7 weeks going on still waiting for phone call.
We deeply regret purchasing from Furniture Village and would not recommend them based on our experience.

Today Shiraz provided an exceptional service by approaching me and my family in a welcoming way that was warm and friendly. He answered every question we had with professionalism and good knowledge of every eventuality/solution. He also noted that we were in the process of decorating our living room and showed us options for panelling and decor which we will most definitely be considering in the near future. We purchased 2 sofas today with ease so if you are due to visit Furniture Village at Slough, I would strongly suggest approaching Shiraz. 5 stars all round - doesnt need to improve on anything!
