Delicious meals most of the time! And I love the grocery section. Also delivery always goes smoothly.
I'd love to see the option to omit ingredients (I have dietary concerns, so have to throw out certain items every time), and or more options without alliums.
The ready to heat meals also could use some improvement... almost every one I've tried has been bland, and there aren't many options without alliums. They definitely used to be better.

The flavours are next level. Very gourmet. We only get one ready to cook meal a week, they are amazing! We also get 4 ready to eat meals each per week and the quality + convenience is great. We both work a ridiculous amount of hours and this takes the stress out of eating healthy and delicious dinners. The egg bites are super yummy and so easy on early mornings. We also appreciate the eco friendly reusable cooler bags. Best meal prep/kit company we have found (we’ve tried 4 others)

Gamechanging
Fresh prep has been gamechanging for me! As a full time student and business owner, feeding myself wasn't exactly the priority. Fresh prep has made it so I don't have to think about what to make and I can have tasty food on the table in 30 minutes. Best decision ever!

Freshprep order arrived at 1130am - Great
One of my meals was missing ingredient - protein and the recipe card. The recipe I am referring to was the banana, bacon French toast. We were looking forward to making that for our Easter guests and unfortunately we had to make it with the bacon as all stores were closed on Easter Sunday.
Sent Freshprep an email and still waiting for a reply on how they will rectify.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service! No reply for days. They won't cancel my account, claiming I did not return the cooler bag, which I did! I didn't want it in my house, so I gave it to the driver who delivered the order. The produce was not fresh, the meat was frozen, and the condiments and spices were unlabelled—a guessing game. Horrible experience!

Overall I am very happy with Fresh Prep. I would give 5 stars, however I wish there was more choices and variety of meals. Also I wish it would be possible to “split” a “4 servings” in two. 4 servings is too much for me, I am alone.

Ordering our meals from Fresh Prep has…
Ordering our meals from Fresh Prep has been one of the best changes we made! I no longer spend hours trying to figure out what to make, shop for food, have to buy bottles of condiments for a recipe when I only need a teaspoon and then cook only for no one to eat or enjoy it. My kids now look so forward to dinner. Every meal is delicious and so easy to make. We love it ❤️

Meals are much better than any competitor
Meals are much better than competitors. Freshprep market items can be local and much better quality than competitors as well and no other service compares to the FP ready meals.

Healthy delicious and easy
Freshprep recipes have taught me how to thicken a sauce, use my broiler, among other kitchen skills, and introduced me to new flavours from around the world that I now love. It’s nice to have the nutritional information and know exactly what went into my meal (unlike ordering from a restaurant). I barely recycle or toss anything because of the reusable containers which I why I chose freshprep over other meal kits. I like knowing that what I am eating is locally sourced too.

Great, fast and very tasty
We have been using FreshPrep for about 6 months now. We were using Chefs Plate prior to that. The difference is amazing. With Fresh Prep there is very little waste in packaging vs boxes, bags and small packets go in the garbage. Food is great in both. Ease of cooking is much better with Fresh Prep. Instructions are much simpler, making cooking time faster and less complicated. I could go on,but Fresh Prep is, by far, the better choice!

Meal combinations are thoughtful and well put together. Every meal I have shared with people have been a hit. They are true to the pictures on the recipe cards. Meals arrive promptly and if there will be a delay you get notified. I really like the delivery bags and non disposable plastic trays. Not a fan of throwing away the plastic pouches.

Too much asian
I find that there are too many spicy Asian meals. Once and awhile is fine, but rice and noodles are not my preferred starches.
I find the protein tends to be chicken thighs and ground beef - it would be nice to see a bit more variety. There have been very few pork dishes.
I also find that if I follow the instructions, the veggies will be cold by the time the protein is cooked. The cooking instructions need to have the veg cooked last as they don’t hold the heat as well as protein.
