Brand New Oven — Never Worked. Forno Has Ignored Me for Weeks.
I purchased a brand-new Forno oven and it has never worked — it does not heat up. Not once. This is a defective unit straight out of the box.
I have spent weeks trying to get this resolved under Forno's advertised 2-year manufacturer warranty.
During that time I have:
Submitted proof of purchase and warranty documentation
Conducted and submitted diagnostic tests at their request confirming the oven does not function
Sent repeated follow-up emails with little to no response
Been given excuse after excuse for delays with zero resolution
Forno refused to arrange uninstallation of the defective unit or reinstallation of a replacement, forcing me to hire a private contractor at my own expense. I still have no working oven.
I have now filed complaints with the California Attorney General's Office, the California Department of Consumer Affairs, the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission.
If you are considering purchasing a Forno appliance, be aware that their warranty may not be worth the paper it is written on. When their product fails, be prepared for weeks of silence and zero accountability.
