⚠️ WARNING TO PUPPY BUYERS AND RESPONSIBLE BREEDERS – MY EXPERIENCE WITH FOREVER PUPPY

As a responsible dog breeder, I am extremely disappointed with my experience of the Forever Puppy advertising platform.

I raised serious concerns about a puppy advertisement that I believe contained potentially misleading information regarding the breed and parentage of the puppies.

I provided information about these concerns and explained that similar advertisements had been removed from other platforms following reports.

Despite raising these issues, I did not receive a satisfactory explanation of what checks had been carried out or how the concerns had been addressed.

When I expressed my disappointment and requested the closure of my account, I was simply instructed to delete it myself. The underlying concerns about buyer protection remained unanswered.

This experience has left me seriously questioning how thoroughly advertisements are verified and how effectively prospective puppy buyers are protected.

Advertising puppies should never be simply about selling advertising space. Animal welfare, honesty, transparency and buyer protection must come first.

I cannot say what internal investigations may have taken place, but the responses I received have not reassured me.

I have completely lost confidence in Forever Puppy and will no longer use or recommend this platform.

I strongly encourage anyone considering buying a puppy through any advertising website to independently verify the breeder, the parents, health records and all information provided.

A puppy is a living animal, not just another online transaction. Buyers deserve honesty, and puppies deserve protection.

I find your response extremely disappointing, particularly because you continue to describe this situation as if it were based merely on suspicions.

These are not simply suspicions. I have documentary evidence, including WhatsApp correspondence, breeding arrangements and records relating to my direct dealings with this seller. I have also obtained a court judgment in a financial dispute involving this individual.

Other puppy advertising platforms, including Pets4Homes, have taken action against this seller following complaints. Yet Forever Puppy continues to defend the advertisement despite the serious concerns raised.

There are significant questions about the advertised puppies' parentage, the mother's actual breed, the accuracy of the breed description and the breeding history of the dogs involved. These are matters that should be properly investigated, rather than dismissed.

Your statement that local councils have not raised concerns with you does not establish that the advertisement is accurate or that the seller has acted responsibly.

I am not asking you to disclose anyone's private information. I am asking you to take the evidence seriously, verify the claims made in the advertisement and explain what steps you have taken to establish that the information being presented to potential buyers is truthful.

A platform that claims to prioritise animal welfare and buyer protection should not simply rely on assurances from a seller when substantial contradictory information has been reported.

I remain deeply concerned about Forever Puppy's approach to this case, and I believe prospective puppy buyers deserve far greater protection and transparency.

I would appreciate a substantive response rather than another general statement about your policies.

Forever Puppy is a great website for breeders and buyers interested in buying or selling puppies. The website is attractive and easy to use, and the support team is very quick, helpful, and responsive. The website could be improved with the ability to advertise expected litters, currently not possible. Warnings against taking communications outside of the website are also highly impractical and unduly alarmist during the normal course of a puppy sale as usual steps involve phone calls, visitations, and document exchanges, with the private relationship between buyer and breeder often extending for years beyond purchase. However, the website seems to be well-managed by caring doglovers and is a useful and welcome puppy search tool for breeders and buyers alike.

Excellent.. easy to upload and easy to navigate.

The enquirys on this site are genuine. I have had so many time wasters elsewhere some just enjoy game playing which I can't for the life of me understand.

Very few views and no enquiries. Waste of money.

I saw a post that I felt I had to raise a concern about and the support section got straight back to me to tell me that they can see why I raised the concern and they are now looking into it.

I sold and it was an easy platform to use and liaise with buyers.

I found it easy to place the add , and edit when I needed to. I haven’t had many enquiries from the advert and no sales as yet. The puppies I have sold have come through another advertising site. I don’t know what else you can do to make Forever Puppies a better place to advertise.

Its very easy to use and the support is there when you need it.

I got fabulous homes for two of my puppies from this advert. So pleased I placed an advert here.

Crap website do not waste your money advertising your pups for sale on here! You will not get any response It’s like paying for fresh air!

I can't rate this company highly enough, I sold 3 puppies through this website with no problems whatsoever. Their customer care is amazing as I accidentally deleted my advert before getting one buyers contact details, they put my advert back up so I could contact them so quickly, enabling me to make contact. I would recommend them 100%.

Very straightforward and easy to use platform, uploaded photos and editing advert is easy to do within the app. I didn't have as many views as other platforms but I understand this is because it's a relatively new site. Communication from buyers via the app was clear, and as a breeder I felt safe not giving out personal details until I knew the buyers were serious (puppy theft is a something to be careful about) I would use this site in the future as it felt very professional

I liked the fact it was straight forward to post the add, not sure that it gets many views but overall I was pleased
