FIRST INVESTMENT RESEARCH
⚠️ **MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH FIRST INVESTMENT RESEARCH — PLEASE BE CAREFUL BEFORE SUBSCRIBING**
I am sharing this review because I do not want other traders/investors to go through the same experience I had.
I subscribed to **First Investment Research** for a **1-month paid F&O research service**. Before taking the service, I was given an expectation that I could potentially make around **₹70,000–₹1,00,000 profit within one month**.
Based on those representations, I decided to subscribe and follow their Nifty 50 and Sensex F&O calls.
Unfortunately, my experience was completely different from what I expected.
### 📉 What happened during my subscription
During the service period, I followed the trades provided by them.
According to my records:
• Approximately **8 out of 10 trades hit Stop Loss**
• The remaining trades generated only minimal profits through trailing SL
• The repeated losses substantially reduced my trading capital
• By the end of the one-month period, **my trading capital was effectively wiped out**
The problem was not that one or two trades went wrong. Trading involves risk, and I understand that.
My concern is the **overall result of following the calls during the subscription period**, especially compared with the profit expectations communicated to me before I subscribed.
### ⚠️ My biggest concern
If a paid research service creates an expectation of making **₹70,000–₹1,00,000 in a month**, a customer may reasonably expect a disciplined risk-management approach and a realistic explanation of the risks involved.
Instead, my experience was a sequence of losing F&O trades where Stop Losses were repeatedly hit.
I understand that **no legitimate research analyst can guarantee profits**, and I am not claiming that every recommendation must be profitable.
However, customers should be extremely careful about any communication that gives them the impression that a specific level of profit can realistically be achieved within a short period.
### 🔎 Important point about SEBI registration
First Investment Research currently states on its website that it is a **SEBI Registered Research Analyst — Registration No. INH000027858**. Its own website also states that SEBI registration does **not** guarantee performance or returns.
So my criticism is **not that they are SEBI registered**.
My criticism is based on **my personal experience as a paying customer and the actual outcome of the recommendations I followed**.
Their website currently advertises Index Research covering Nifty, Sensex and other indices, including F&O insights, and advertises paid monthly research plans.
### 🚨 My warning to other traders
Before paying for any F&O research service, I strongly recommend:
✅ Ask for independently verifiable historical performance
✅ Keep screenshots of every call, entry, target and SL
✅ Keep complete trade records
✅ Never rely solely on verbal profit promises
✅ Ask exactly how maximum daily/monthly loss is controlled
✅ Verify the person's current SEBI registration independently
✅ Never assume that SEBI registration means the recommendations will be profitable
✅ Do not risk your entire trading capital based on someone else's calls
**F&O trading itself is extremely risky. A paid trading-call service cannot remove that risk.**
I am posting this review so that potential customers can make an informed decision before subscribing.
### ⭐ My personal rating based on my experience
**Research/Trade-call experience: ⭐ 1/5**
**Risk-management experience: ⭐ 1/5**
**Results during my subscription: ⭐ 1/5**
**Value for money: ⭐ 1/5**
**Overall: ⭐ 1/5**
This review represents **my personal experience, my trading records, and the results I personally experienced**. I encourage First Investment Research to publicly explain the performance of the calls provided during my subscription period and the basis for the profit expectations communicated to me.
**Please do your own due diligence before paying for any F&O research service.**
