First choice was fantastic with the whole booking process straight forward. Apartment flights was fantastic food at Apartment Club Aida Marmaris Turkey great Apartment great whole complex spotless could not fault it. Open the gates on bottom road would be better to get in and out of complex. Price of holiday was fantastic 💯 % recomend first choice and tui airline.

Aprthotel was good

Aprthotel was good, breakfast very good but pool bar music was very loud from 11am to 8pm. Rapping etc not suitable for the majority of the guest I would have thought (middle aged),

Warning don’t book with first choice

Trustpilot Review (First Choice / TUI Transfers)

Booked a package holiday with First Choice (TUI) including paid airport transfers. The return transfer failed to collect us despite us being at the correct pick-up location well in advance with luggage ready.

The driver arrived, collected another couple, spoke briefly to reception, and then left after being incorrectly told we had made alternative arrangements. This was completely false. At no point did we cancel or change anything.

As a result, we were left stranded and had to arrange a private taxi at short notice costing £50 in order to reach the airport. We were extremely close to missing our flight due to this failure. No proper attempt was made to locate or verify us before the driver left.

The inbound transfer was also unacceptable. The driver repeatedly pressured passengers for tips throughout the journey. When we explained we did not have cash, he became visibly irritated and instructed us to handle our own luggage. My daughter, who has a hand injury, was forced to crawl into the luggage compartment and physically retrieve our suitcases without assistance.

We reported issues during the holiday to a TUI representative, but are now being told this does not count due to internal brand distinctions between First Choice and TUI, despite all booking and communication being handled through their system.

We were offered £50 reimbursement and a £50 voucher, which we do not accept. We do not want a voucher and the cash offer does not reflect the level of failure experienced.

This resulted in a serious service failure that left us stranded, nearly caused us to miss our flight, and ultimately ruined our holiday.

Edit after reply from first choice.
We have not received a link for the reimbursement for the taxi fare!
We have also not received any compensation that you mention on your reply!!

I booked through your website

I booked through your website , yet I have to go to another website to book space on the plane and seats to get to where I have paid you, and they wanted to charge me again for luggage...poor

What I Booked Was Not Such a Good Deal After All

When I chose a holiday that looked to be a good price, I proceeded with my booking. When I pressed the "Continue" button the price shot up not by a little but by at least £20 per person. Then I had to download the Ryanair app to complete my booking. Personally, I didn't want another app on my phone doing what apps do best (generally, in my opinion, invading my privacy). Be aware, Ryanair's baggage charges are higher than TUI's. So what looked like a real bargain, turned out not to be such a good deal after all.

We're sorry the price increased during booking and you needed to download the Ryanair app. Where bookings involve partner airlines, certain services such as check-in and baggage are managed directly by the airline, which is why their app is required. Prices and baggage costs can also vary between airlines, which may affect the overall total compared to the initial price shown. That said, we are sorry that this wasn’t as clear as it could have been at the time of booking and that it led to a disappointing experience. Your feedback is really valuable.

Rip Off seat charges

Booking reference 25165348

We paid an additional £840 to book and choose our 6 extra space seats for both outbound and inbound flights however, when we got to the airport all of our chosen seats had been changed for the outbound flights and the seats for our return flights had been removed altogether!
We called first choice via the airport staff and were told there had been an aircraft change and as the plane would be slightly smaller they didn’t have 6 seats together they had 3 extra space seats next to a row of 3 standard sized seats which we had to accept, we needed at least one set of extra space seats as one passenger is 6’7 and would really struggle in standard seats. We were told we would be refunded the £210 paid for the seats which we would no longer have on the return flight however we were only refunded £150 and on the return flight we didn’t get any extra space seats just 3 extra legroom and 3 standard!
So, we paid for 6 extra space seats each way and we got 3 in total, 6 extra legroom and 3 standard!
We would not choose or recommend first choice following this experience.

Cancelled flight

We booked our holiday 18 months ago and have had several changes to our booking. Today we received an email saying that our flight had been cancelled and moved to the next day on a much later arrival time. I have booked via First choice and Tui every year for over a decade. Never again.

As First Choice plan holidays so far in advance, on occasions they do have to change or cancel flights due to operational changes. We do try and keep these disruptions to a minimum, however this isn’t always possible and as per our terms and conditions, all flights are subject to change.
I understand this is disappointing news, particularly after the other changes you’ve already had to deal with and I apologise for the inconvenience.

We had a really disappointing…

We had a really disappointing experience. Our flights were changed to 2 days earlier, which completely disrupted our plans.

On top of that, we were then informed there would be building works at our hotel. We were told we could change the hotel, but at no point were we given a clear deadline to make that decision.

I later found out that the building works are quite disruptive, so I asked to change hotels — only to be told I had “left it too late” due to a 10-day deadline. This was never clearly communicated and only ever mentioned in relation to the flight change, not the hotel.

I made it clear during calls that I was focusing on sorting the flights first and would decide on the hotel after, and nobody advised me that I needed to decide immediately or risk losing the option.

Very frustrating experience and poor communication throughout. I would like this resolved.
