Went to the showroom and was impressed with a great range of fires. Chose and paid in full for an electric wall hung fire and was told it would be delivered within four days. A month on and I am STILL waiting. The customer service is non existent as you can't get through via telephone and it is a series of messages telling you to email and that they take a week or so to reply. No good to me when I didn't even order online and was told I'd have my fire within a week not have to wait a week to find out why it isn't there. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Initially we got off to a shaky start in that the possible time from complaint to answer looked as if it could be up to 2 weeks and my particular fire had developed the same fault twice. Anyway they organised a part to be shipped to me and offered and engineer on site. I agreed to fit the part. When it failed the second time they sent an engineer up complete with parts at a time to suit me. The engineer left but the fault happened again. Before calling again I checked the fire as much as I could and by chance came across one of the wires leading to the main fire lights had a small nick in it. I passed this on to FPMS, they contacted the manufacturer and they offered all the help I could have expected, Checked with manufacturer and between them got the replacement off again within a couple of days. Patient, polite and prompt responses at all times.

I placed an order last Wednesday only to be informed 5 minutes later that Fireplace megastore does not deliver to my area. I was devastated by this information as there is no clear indication of this on the website and I was more than willing to pay the £150 extra delivery charge as stated on their website. I was however informed that they could NOT deliver and that the money would be promptly refunded.

One week on and the money still had not been returned to my account. When I e-mailed regarding the absence of money from my account I was called the next morning and told rather aggressively that the money had never been taken and it was a banking problem. Nether the less, that is a whole week that I could not spend this money on the same product from a website that would deliver to my area. It inconvenienced me and wasted my time. A simple apology over the telephone would have sufficed to placate me. Instead, when I suggested that their website should correctly and clearly indicate where and where not they deliver I was abruptly told to direct my complaint to customer services. Instead I am writing this far more constructive review. I would suggest you call them to make sure they do in fact deliver to your area before making any purchase.

Just had my fireplace installed today and just wanted to tell everyone how happy I am with it and the company I bought it off. I ordered a Harrier Traverse electric suite from Fireplace Megastore based in Deeside for the lowest price I could find online. The complete fireplace including fire cost only £349 with free delivery. Delivery was within 5 days and they kept me informed during the process very friendly and have already recommended them to a friend who has also purchased off them as well.

they said it was now going to be mid December before deliver - another month

asked for refund - sales person called [name] sighing down the phone, couldn't answer any of my questions.

I still haven't received my refund, despite emailing and asking for an update.

Funny, it doesn't take 10 days for them to take payment....

Bought a fireplace called the Orial Christow fireplace form this company recently. Very happy with the quality of the fireplace and found their prices to be extremely competitive. Helpful friendly staff, delivered quickly, would buy off them again and recommend them to friends.

I chose this company based on both price and past reviews. I had to chase several times and my fire has finally arrived. I intended to buy another fire from the same company provided I was happy with this one. I'll buy from elsewhere, am disappointed. They took my order and my money and then.... nothing. When the manufacturer finally rang to arrange delivery, I asked him what the problem was and he just said 'You don't want to know'. Whichever company was at fault, I didn't feel like a valued customer at all. I shan't bother again.

I recently purchased a Formosa Paisley fireplace from Fireplace Megastore based in Deeside North Wales. I live in Newbury so couldn't visit their showroom so I ordered via the internet from their website. The value of the fireplace was £789 which was the best price I could find surfing the net. The fireplace arrived within a week from placing my order. I received a telephone call to book in the delivery and the delivery team were very helpful and friendly. I found Fireplace Megastore staff to be very helpful at each stage of handling my order and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

I recently bought a Europa Corona electric suite from a company called Fireplace Megastore based in Deeside North Wales. I buy a lot of products online and I found this company’s website to be very user friendly in comparison to other websites I have used in the past. They have a vast range of fires and fireplaces to choose from all very low prices. In fact the lowest prices I could find on the internet. I found their staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. The goods arrived within the timescale indicated on their website and their drivers helped lift the fireplace in to the room of my choice, unwrapped the goods and gave me a brief demonstration of how the fireplace worked. All in all a very good service and I was most impressed all round. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others looking to make a purchase of either a fire or fireplace.

Bought a Flavel Emberglow fire for around £600 to replace a worn out similar style Cannon Coalridge. Staff at the Deeside premises of Fireplace Megastore were extremely helpful. and friendly Fire was delivered on the day stated and has proved to be an excellent buy. Well pleased with all aspects of the transaction. Would but from them again.

I really wasnt sure about whic fire to buy, but they went through everything with me. I really apreciated the time that was given to my stupid questions and what ifs. Definitely got the fire that goes perfectly in my living room

I bought a fire from someone else, and it was a great change to talk to people who knew what they were doing!!!I was shocked at the details the other company had got wrong, im now in legal proceedings against them and also with my gas fitter who didn't advise me of anything further. These guys have helped me out from the start, initially telling me not to fit the fire i had ought before contacting a different corgi fitter as the installation would have been lethal!!! Many thanks and i will certainly tell as many people as i can about you!!

I was very impressed with the service from Fireplace Megastore. I had a slight problem when ordering on the web so rang their customer services department who were polite efficient and very helpful. On explaining I needed the Fire and Surround delivering as soon as possible they promised to try their best! It arrived 2 days later. suberb.
Would recommend to anyone.
