Scams, said I would be refunded and never answered me again. All lies using a third party to rip you off
Easy to use
Easy to use, very useful team constantly listening to our feedback and replying quickly.
I received this e-mail the other day
I received this e-mail the other day. I don't owe them any money, however very threatening. They didn't even have the correct name on the e-mail. They are actually holding $7,000.00. I hope no one does business with them. Apparently they are broke. These people should not be handling peoples money. Please report them to the Florida Attorney Generals and Federal Trade Commision (FTC) - enough compalints and they will be shut down. We are going to report them. Here is the e-mail from them:
"This email serves as formal notification that FanBasis has initiated legal proceedings against and you personally for the outstanding balance of plus accruing fees, interest, and attorney's costs.
You have until 5:00 PM EST on to remit payment in full and avoid escalation.
To be clear: this is not a question of whether FanBasis will recover what is owed-it is a question of when, and what you are willing to put yourself through in the process. The balance will be collected. The only variable is how much permanent damage you sustain to your credit, your reputation, and your ability to operate a business in this industry going forward.
If payment is not received by the deadline, FanBasis will proceed with the following:
1. UCC Lien Filing - A UCC-1 financing statement will be filed against you and your business entity, creating a public record of the debt and encumbering your ability to obtain financing or credit.
2. MATCH/TMF Reporting - Your account activity, including your chargeback ratio and the circumstances of your account termination, will be reported to the appropriate card network databases.
3. Credit Bureau Reporting - The outstanding balance and judgment (once obtained) will be reported to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.
4. Law Enforcement Referral - Given the activity patterns identified on your account-including withdrawals immediately preceding a surge in disputes-FanBasis will file a formal complaint with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) and any other relevant federal or state authorities.
5. Judgment Enforcement - Upon obtaining a judgment, FanBasis will pursue all available collection remedies, including but not limited to bank levies, wage garnishment, and asset seizure.
These actions will create a permanent record that will follow you. Future processors, lenders, and business partners conduct due diligence. What they find will be determined by the choice you make this week.
These are not negotiating tactics. This is the process that begins Saturday if the balance remains unpaid.
To remit payment or discuss resolution, reply to this email immediately."
Birds of a feather
Fanbasis is the actual payment processor for
the scammer White Glove Inc. They get between the purchaser and the fraud. Making it even more difficult to receive the promised refund. They ( and myself) should be more careful in who they choose to do business with. A note Fan Basis name would appear on my credit card statement would have been another red flag. They should also be aware of their clients 100% money back guarantee.
hepls scam website to operate
had only one interaction with fanbasis as a customer, i bought a subscription for the video genation site "clipify.io" that turned out to mimic an other serious vendor. the site is an obvious scam, no video was ever generated. i'm shure that fanbasis.com is well aware of this and simply does not care. they help fraudsters to cash out, as simple as that.
Fraudulent business practices.
Fraudulent business practices.
Reported them to VISA, the Bundesnetzagentur in Germany, the Florida state attorney and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) - for fraudulent, intransparent and manipulative business practices.
The moment you see Fanbasis pop up anywhere in your mails or on your bank account just run. Unfortunately this is not how we work as humans most of the time so "you" will probably read this after the fact.
Also that all the 1 star reviews are counter balanced with 5 stars and nothing in between .. well ;). 5 Star reviews from the people on the receiving/ profiting end and 1 Star reviews from the ones on the loosing end.
That companies like that are allowed to operate in this manner is just beh.
##### Excerpt from my FTC reporting #####
(I just copy & paste it - there is already too much time wasted)
I ordered an online long-distance YouTube coaching program. The Visa transaction was processed by Fanbasis, acting as the Merchant of Record (MoR) - thereby the official contractual partner of the transaction.
Upon conclusion of the coaching, the program presented several red flags which, in summary and retrospect, raised questions regarding the legal circumstances of the offering as a whole -especially regarding tax declaration and licensing and, with that, the role and responsibilities of Fanbasis as the Merchant of Record.
I was eventually able to get a full refund from the coach after directly contacting him as a last resort and prior to legal escelation (there is technically no financial damage on my end) but I still decided to go forward with a report since it seems to be a systemic issue rather than an individual one.
## Introduction: ##
- Fanbasis rejected the label of being an MoR, including the respective responsibilities, any liability to address and process the mentioned inquiries about potentially illegal offerings/transactions on their platform, and the resulting dispute and refund narrative. They acted in an avoidant manner and refused to substantially address any of the issues.
- During the process they provided a link to a non-public dispute form. This form was essentially a waiver of my rights and their responsibility, acting as a condition to even submit a dispute.
### The Core of the Deceptive Conduct: ###
1. Facilitating Illicit and Potentially Void Contracts:
Fanbasis acts as the "Merchant of Record" for “online coaching” services that lack mandatory state licensing in target markets (specifically violating German FernUSG §12+7). Under these laws, the contracts are legally void.
As the legal seller (MoR), Fanbasis is responsible for the legality of the products sold but intentionally bypasses due diligence and refuses to take responsibility in order to profit from these illicit offerings.
2. Coercive "Waiver" Requirements (Dark Patterns):
Fanbasis employs predatory and deceptive "Dark Patterns" to block consumer disputes by ignoring and not substantially addressing legal inequities during potential dispute processes.
Additionally, they have designed their internal dispute process to force consumers to sign a digital "Waiver" -surrendering all statutory and legal rights - as a technical prerequisite to even submit a claim.
This is a coercive practice designed to strip consumers of their right to a fair trial and legal recourse.
3. Intentional Role Obfuscation:
The company uses contradictory narratives and Terms of Service to evade liability.
They claim two opposing legal states at the same time depending on whom they address: they claim "Merchant of Record" status to control funds and collect fees, yet simultaneously claim to be a "neutral intermediary" to deflect responsibility for the illicit nature of the services.
This "Role Arbitrage" is a deceptive tactic to leave consumers without a clear counterparty for liability.
4. Failure of KYBC (Know Your Business Customer):
Fanbasis fails to verify the legal compliance of its creators, functioning as a "safe harbor" for unlicensed high-ticket coaching operations that would not be permitted under standard financial scrutiny.
5. Financial and Tax Misconduct:
Fanbasis, acting as the Merchant of Record (MoR), processed the full payment but failed to provide a legally compliant tax invoice. Instead, a third-party invoice was provided by the creator, which notably contained no tax or VAT breakdown despite the transaction involving a German consumer.
When I formally inquired whether Fanbasis, as the legal seller, is responsible for providing a valid tax document and correct VAT declaration, the company refused to provide a substantial answer.
This suggests a deliberate attempt to evade fiscal responsibilities and obscures the tax trail of high-ticket international transactions.
AI hosting? Scam?
On 10/21/2025 I purchased an AI website, I was called by a gentleman named Leon, a quality manager. He said he would call and get me set up with FanBasis -AI Hosting Service. When he called a few days later I had to pay an additional $350.00 and since I didn't have cash I had to agree to pay with "Zip and it ended up costing me $380.63!
I am 77, live on social security. I thought this was away to make extra money. The first time I check into my account it said I made $34.00, not enough to withdraw after that I have not been able to sign into my account and the website no longer exists? This was supposed to give me FanBaseAI hosting service? I sent an email to say this wasn't for me and I'd like a refund, but I got no response. Leon, was to call me after Christmas and said I would have to pay another500 or $600 thank goodness he never called because I wasn't getting anything for the $350.00 plus the initial"one time payment" if $197.00. rip off.
FRUAD
I was trying to buy a GoatFundedTrader account from fanbasis merchant and they took money and did'nt give me account f**king fraud company.
Definitely was not what was advertised
Thought I was getting assistance to open up a SHOPIFY account with setup of everything needed. I paid the $67 for the domain, then I was ghosted. SHOPIFY account was there but nothing else. What I paid for and what Company advertised was false. Got nothing but basic info to contact SHOPIFY when asked for a refund.
This company is a scam
From my experience as well as people I know who've used them, If you ever get a client asking for a refund they do not alert you whatsoever up until you loose the dispute. Not through the app, website, email, text. Nothing.
They also have terrible customer service with no number to call, as well as extremely high fees for transactions.
0/5 massive scam
Completely misrepresented as "free"
Completely misrepresented as "free", You only have to buy the domain name for 67.00, sounded reasonable, which I did. Only to then, be berated by one of their associates, because I have low income and bad credit. The very first thing out of his mouth, was how much money I had? Total rip off, trying to get my money back. Do not waste your time, complete b.s. imo.
BEWARE!!! This is a SCAM
BEWARE!!!! DO NOT WORK WITH THESE SCAMMERS
This is not what was advertised. As soon as it was purchased, I requested a refund because all they wanted was more and more money. From what I can tell there is no actual product only a way to take $67 from a lot of people without delivering what they say. Biggest SCAM EVER!
Fanbasis is a horribly ran company…
Fanbasis is a horribly ran company inside and out . They do not know what they are doing ! They going your account when there is a dispute still pending and Risk will threaten you with legal action and have an attorney call you Never use this ! It is a Nightmare
Let's clear up the noise pls..
All of the reviews here stating scam don't understand how a Merchant of record service works.
Fanbasis is a payment processor, meaning they don't charge anything.. if you are seeing "Fanbasis" charges on your statement, that means you purchased something from someone who PROCESSES through Fanbasis.
You're not being scammed, you just don't know how to cancel a subscription for something you agreed to pay for. Contact the seller and cancel, so you are not charged.
I have also only lost one dispute ever, but that has nothing to do with Fanabsis and everything to do with the banks approving my evidence of fulfillment. If you lost your dispute, it happens. Don't blame your processor and instead either provide real fulfillment or be more selective with who you sell to!!
FanBasis doesn't keep their word. NEVER do business with them.
FanBasis doesn't keep their word.
Had an outstanding balance for a bit due to some clients charging back on a prior company.
We serviced those clients but without getting into it we submitted all proof and fanbasis didn't win the chargeback even though we supplied a ton of evidence.
We entered a resolution for scheduled payments to take care of the balance but instead they decided to try and accelerate the payments within a span of 30 days and not the agreed upon schedule.
They're shady, never do business with them. They say they want to help but they're full of it.
I've processed alot of volume before go over to whop you'll have a way better experience.
Run away from fanbasis
SCAM company !
SCAM company !! Fraud !!! They charged my card $500 without my permission and that’s after I stopped the service with them because I was very un happy with the service. SCAMMERS!!!!!
Scambasis would be a much better name for their company
Beware of this company, they are running scams. And once they have your credit card information they will continue to charge you over and over until you lock your card. I didn't go through with processing the payment to them when I realized their company was a scam. They have software on their system that as soon as you type the information into their system it records it even if you don't process the payment and then they try and charge you. The way they make their money is by charging people for a service that you get for free and their system is just that a fraud. My bank warned me when I called to make the prod report that this company is on a national Bank and credit Union list of fraud. Don't let it happen to you.
Their phone number does not work.

Total rip-off.
