Dont waste your time and money. Scam

Products looked nothing like it did on website.
Payed £10 for a personalised name neckless.
couldn’t even read it, it was that bad.
Also had second class delivery which on the website promised to deliver in 2-3 days. More like two weeks.
You then have to pay to return. Its a joke. Save your time and money and dont bother

Paid but no delivery, no reply to emails,no contact details, no nothing....had to contact my bank to get a refund! Very NOT happy with this website and service ect very very poor! And it says it all Really they don't take any notice of people's reviews...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WHATEVER IT IS

The Express Email Scam to Your Cell Number

I used to shop Express all the time, I liked their product. Always in stores - not online. This is the first time I used their online presence. They asked for my email in exchange for 25% discount - I figured 'cool', I like them enough for that. Signed up....3 days later no promo code. I contact them via chat and 2 different customer service reps then try to get me to give them my cell number in order to receive a discount? They get your email and then in order to get anything from them then you have to give your phone number? Interestingly, I got disconnected from the first rep and had to reconnect with another, who also requested I text them in order to get my discount - providing a different code - which says to me that they are tracking how many people each of them are able to convince to give their cell phone number to.

So to follow up, I now call the phone number given to me. They are also trying to get my cell phone number? Then they want order numbers? When I tell them that I am not giving them my cell phone number that wasn't the deal, I asked to speak with a manager. The manager wanted to 1. Discount an order I have made already or 2. Take a new order over the phone? My response was, I just want the promo code I was promised in exchange for my email address so that I can place an order when I want to place an order - not when you want me to place an order? In the end, I ended up getting a 'case number' so that when I am ready to place my order I will have to 'call' and give them my order.

I let them know that they should be checking Trustpilot because their ratings are bad...how is it that Express does not have someone on their team checking this site?

Lesson for me with this story...Express online might not be your best bet for a shopping experience. It certainly has not been for me. A true disappointment. For this customer, this might be a sign that it is time to move on.

There is no exchange option

There is no exchange option. You have to return and order again every time something didn't fit. AND you have to pay for shipping, then for return, and guess what - then again for shipping.
And to return any costs you have to constantly contact customer service.

Horrible bait and switch. They tell you if you open the credit card you will get 20% off your order... well I did open one and got no number to use for my 20% off. DON'T DO IT!!!!
Then you get to speak with people in the Philippines and they are of no help whatsoever... all they do is give you the run around!!!

Don't bother calling them they are useless

Doesn't credit you points for survey or reviews. You call and all they do is tell you to wait 4-6 weeks. They will not credit you. Signed up for 20% off credit card and it didn't take 20% off order. Called and they only wanted to give 10% off order. I canceled the order and they lost my business. Also their website is a joke.

Horrible company policies,

My wife got me three shirts from express but when they shipped them they all had the security tags still on them. I live in Alaska so we don’t have an express in the state. To make it worse I’m a health care worker in the military and we have not been able to leave the state since March. When I called customer service the only thing they could do is make me go to the post office, return the shirts and wait for néw ones to be shipped. I’m not sure why I’m doing all the work for something the company did wrong and I get nothing in return. Seems simple for a multi million dollar company to to give a customer 20% off and keep the customer. Interesting take on business philosophy.

Ordered 1st December still waiting over 35 days later, no phone number to contact and don’t reply to any emails.. what a joke of a company please please do not order from this company!! It’s not hard to reply to an email... looks like ive lost my money..

Fitting rooms were closed and now I can't exchange???

We stopped by the UTC store in December to return a couple of my boyfriend's items that he got online (didn't like quality). I picked a couple tops for myself instead. The fitting rooms were closed because of covid, but they told me it won't be an issue to return/exchange it if it doesn't fit. I agreed. Today I went to Mission Valley store to do the exchange, they looked at my items, confirmed that I can do an exchange. I picked up some jewelry instead since I didn't want to bother with sizes again. And the jewelry was buy 1 get 1 free. After waiting in the line, the girl at the register told me that the computer system won't let me do an exchange for jewelry that's a bogo, no matter the price, and I'd have to pay for each piece separately - full price - that's after we already previously paid for those items and the jewelry is on sale! Why can't I get the sale price when I'm returning the item I already paid for and never had a chance to try on because your stupid store is open for business, but closed the fitting rooms?! I already spent the money, can I just get something that actually works for me? The manager who said her name was Shelley, said she can't help me either. She looked may be 20 years old, she was very rude too. I asked to put my items back in the bag. When I opened it, I found only one top out of the two I had. I asked for my other item, the girl at the register who originally started processing the return gave me some black pants size 23 (I'm size 0). Can this be any more ridiculous? I finally found the second top I had and left the store. NEVER. EVER. Coming again. And that's after 15 years of being a loyal customer.
Also, Shelley gave me a card to call their 'customer service line', which is probably a nice way to kick the upset customer out of the store, because when I called them, the person picked up the phone asking how they can help, and when I explained the situation, they just hung up on me and switched me to an automated customer satisfaction survey. What's the point - to pretend you actually have a customer service line, when you don't?

Happy with my order

Happy with my order. Love my new sweater- it looks exactly as on the picture and the quality is even better than I expected.
It took a while before my order was finally shipped but it arrived fairly quickly.
I’m surprised that some reviewers are saying that there are no customer support... when I called, I was immediately connected with the rep and all my questions was answered.

Failed order

Placed purchase order which was accepted by two emails the same day. All details on the emails were correct, and delivery was advised as 3 to 5 days.

8 days elapsed with no further correspondence. Contacted company who advise the order was cancelled with out telling me due to rejection by my bank apparently due to a credit card error. They now want to know if I wish to reorder????

My bank have not received the payment request. This is a company get out due to a failure on their part.

This company is a shambles ridiculous dont order from here ive been waiting a month an still waiting I have not received my items orderd two personalised necklaces sent them several emails they do not reply back i am so upset as I thought it was a ligit company in England because of the address what they have used there's no telephone number to contact them clearly they Rob you I think ppl are right its china the stuff comes from not wirral lol anyways I dont care I want my money back

Worse costumer service

Worse costumer service, Express is advertising 20%off after applying for the credit card, never received the discount and now the customer service won't do anything, waste 2 hours trying to figure out what to do on their part to be disconnected without resolving the problem.

Chinese company

Chinese company. Gives a Colorado address on their website leading customers to believe it is a US company. ALL items are shipped from China. No customer service. Do not respond to emails. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Unbelievable is the only word that comes to my mind . I am furious with your company ! You have charged me a fortune to confirm the 1st class delivery (within 3 days ) or a very important item for a cancer patient that may die within a few days ! I have not yet had one email , one reply any contact from your suppose on chat live support chat ! It is horrendous that you can con people in believing they can order on time for Christmas ( as stated 2-3 days delivery on your website !) . You have no customer service available to help, a completely illegal terms and conditions not present during the purchase and no way to be contacted to trace the delivery ! I am taking your company to legal , and will endeavour to plaster social media with your terrible company in order for people never to order from you within the UK !
