Bought a new controller from them i didnt get what i ordered and when emailing the custumer service frustrated they told me to take a chill pill.... there controllers run at 300 dollars if it shows up messed up they will just tell you to take a chill pill i guess an just start ignoring you.... and i asked for a return label to fix there mess up and i have to pay for it so i did.... and after that i got a email saying they are not going to go back an forth with me and he started ignoring me so i bought the shipping label for 20$ never got it and i haven got a response yet. legit the worst customer service i have ever seen with any company. they will try to make it your fault before offering assistance. they used to let you make a phone call appointment and that has vanished i think its cause they dont like confrontation with ppl they stole money from anymore... sad thing is when you get what you actually order these controllers are 5 star controllers but the customer service kills the sell.

Garbage- Do not buy

Looks like these controllers all have the same issues and the company customer service is sketchy:

Ordered a controller with just the rapid fire mod. Controller is lighter than a stock PS4, it does not have the vibration motors inside- so there is no "shock" in this dual shock. Controls to activate and use the mod are a little confusing and can't even tell if the mod is working. First time using it the left stick goes on cruise control and the input sticks so the input continues even after you put the stick back in neutral position. Their response was to calibrate it and check the dead zone. Still not working. They sent a postage paid sticker to send it back to "look at" it, but I asked for a refund. Based on other reviews I am expecting the run-around and probably a restocking fee. Clearly based on the reviews these guys put out a shoddy product and their website doesn't have reviews of their product, so that should tell you something.
I had a modded controller from another company that lasted for 5 years- can't remember where I got it, but I know I paid less than for this garbage.

One of the worst experiences Ive had…

One of the worst experiences Ive had with a company. I purchased a $350 controller that after 3 months had two face buttons stopped working and the left stick drifted. I decided recently that I would get it repaired as they had a deal for $39 to have a it repaired and shipped back, this deal is still currently on their site. I had a representative named Aaron reach out to tell me that they would not be honoring what I paid for and I would need to actually pay $75 to have it repaired instead. Aaron specifically was very rude and this company does not care about returning customers. If you are looking for a quality gaming controller, your are best to look elsewhere.

TERRIBLE PRODUCTS STAY AWAY

I purchased a custom controller and about 6-7 months go by and I start having extremely bad stick drift. I contact them about that and they tell me it’s my settings (it wasn’t because it worked fine for 6 months) so they give me the run around for a month and finally they offer to fix it for me, I can pay $75 and it MIGHT fix it but would eventually revert back to the stick drift or I can pay $100 to get completely new internals in the controller. Not something I’d want to do since the first internals lasted 6 months. And I spent $200 on this controller. Do not recommend

I pressed 'jump', and somehow, my character opted for interpretive dance moves instead! I called customer service, and it felt like they were reciting an ancient incantation to cast me away instead of helping out. 🧙‍♂️ But hey, if you're looking to add some 'Evil' spice and unpredictable chaos to gaming—totally hit them up! Plus they took 15% restocking fee ,
Who knew that glitching mid-boss fight could become a new form of torture entertainment. 📉🎮 #EvilControllersorEvilComedians?"

Horrible customer service!

I was sent the wrong color controller. The whole point of this was to make a custom controller for my son, not to be given "what we had in stock". After 2 months of back and forth emails they've gone silent. This wannabe company is a joke and the tech is beyond outdated. I know nothing about video games but having done my research after this mess, I see you truly do get what you pay for...hence the never ending 50% off holiday sale tactic. Theres a reason they (he) doesn't have a phone number or address listed, a reason for no website reviews... and a big reason these lifeless influencers do positive reviews on them. It's the only way to get the name out there because the average joe would tell you the company (garage) is trash.

Evil junk

$300 for a custom controller, from day 1 had issues with triggers not working properly. Fortunately or so I thought no big deal as I purchased a 2 yr warranty when I bought it. Warranty is as worthless as the controller. Sent it in to have triggers replaced got it back and it doesn’t function at all. Emailed them and continue to be told it’s my problem there is nothing wrong with it. Be smart and buy nothing form evil unless you like giving money away.

Absolutely worst modded controllers 😂 bought 1 controller within 15 min one of the buttons is stuck had to send it back , then they fix it now the controller won’t even hold a charge ! No one buy from them at all ! Absolutely garbage business why do you think you can’t write reviews on google about them lol and yelp they know they make trash why share it lol

Total rip off, not what I paid for

This is my second controller from Evil, the first one was great, lasted almost 6k hours of warzone. Got a second one after the first one died. It was not the same at all. Feels hollow, all of the buttons feel like they are gonna break. The sticks are trash, they were supposed to be 180g precision blah blahs..they were regular ps4 sticks...I have never heard from back from them after my many, many attempts top contact them. Just paid 200 dollars for a 45 dollar ps4 controller...never again

Poor service overall

Spent a bunch of money got the master mod tactile triggers etc realized the master mod is hard to figure out so I asked them to replace it with just a rapid fire mod I spent 40 bucks on shipping and to and from with rush shipping. I reached out to them several times I was pretty much ghosted and lied to in the emails poor customer service response time to emails was horrible and they were very short. A month after they received my controller they said it would be shipped that week week later was when it was shipped the insanity of this will make me never go back to them again

Don’t do it

I ordered a controller over a year ago, zero issues and loved the controller(still do!, but they stole it). Then a couple months ago, I had issues, reached out when I had to pay an additional $20 for shipping & handling to send it in for repairs( I didn’t want to and had a bad feeling it wasn’t gonna turn out good) after a month of no communication of what was wrong, I got a generic “we’re sorry and it’ll be shipped out next week story” so, two months later is trying to contact these people, stood up via phone call as well(you have to schedule those meetings) and well, still nothing. No controller, radio silence. I’ve got no option left but to seek legal action. Don’t buy from them, it’s fine and dandy until it breaks and they refuse you service & your controller

Bad Customer service or scam?

Spent 475, on top tier controller with all bells and whistles. Upon receiving I noticed that I didn’t like a few things cosmetically. I got a hold of customer service and requested to change. They did oblige originally on request based on the product and top level warranty. . But when it came time to figure out shipping and where I was sending or if they were going to ship it, they went radio silent. It’s been over a week. I’ve emailed and gotten no response. I’ve set appointments and gotten no calls and text and called the one 800 number and no return calls or text. They might put out a good product but if you don’t get what you want first time or it’s broken, you’re dead in the water.

Purchased an “accessible” controller, it failed and no service

Purchased an “accessible” controller for my disabled son a year ago. After ten months the d pad stopped working. I contacted Evil and they said it was covered by warranty and send it to them for free repair. I used tracked delivery to send it to them after two weeks they sent me an email that my “ticket was closed” and I could rate their service. Well no controller has come back, and no response to my email queries. They probably sold my son’s controller to some other dupe.

I would have been better off trying to fix it myself.

Stay away from Evil.

Never received my controller, customer service will not respond to me

I placed an order on Jan 8 for a one handed controller (I'm disabled/partially paralyzed). I paid for expedited order processing, and the whole thing the website estimated would take 4 weeks due to international shipping.

On Feb 2 I hadn't received any kind of update, so reached out to customer service. This first interaction was great, they responded within 24 hours and said that the controller would ship "early next week" .. but it never did.

I waited a week and half to reach out again, asking if they had a tracking number. They sent one but it just says "label created" and that status has not changed since Feb 12. It's now March 6th. I've tried to reach out about cancelling my order, but they have not returned any of my requests for support since Feb 12th. I have tried contacting them three times to process a cancellation/refund.

What's worse is I am getting automated emails from sitejabber to 'review my controller' even though I've never received it. I honestly believe this company is trying to swindle me out of $282.

Don’t buy from this company many better

Don’t buy from this company many better options out there. I sent in mine for repair in December and they said they received it and now will not respond. They now will not respond they have my controller my 80 bucks I spent for repair and now I can’t even get my broken controller back from this company. I spent 250 on the damn thing and it’s broken twice I regret not going with a better company like cinch gaming save your money if thinking about going with these guys. Jacob from evil is a lying POS and now I’m out all my money with no recourse since I used a gift card my wife got me.

Spent well over $400 with them

Spent well over $400 with them, received the controller and it was messed up. Contacted them for a refund since I was able to and they quickly convinced me to just mail it back to them and they’d fix it. Should’ve known that was a smart trick since it took the blame off them. I tracked the package and it arrived to them on April 22nd. For days I kept asking for updates and the Jacob guy kept claiming they didn’t have it even though the shipping company had it all written down when they got it, when it arrived to Evil and they even wrote that they confirmed that they received it. So a week later and the Jacob guy is still lying and saying they don’t have it even though I’m still looking at the tracking page that shows it’s still sitting at the warehouse they told me to send it to.

After it’s all said and done they got to keep my money and the product itself. 100% profit rate for them.

Was about to forgive the transgressions and give them another shot so asked the guy if he could give me a discount code since I had already spent close to $500 with them. Tried giving me the one they give to everyone for signing up email, (isn’t actually a discount, the products price is set higher so the “discount” they give you brings it down to what it should be, so you gained nothing) and asked if he could do even as little as 15%, just 5% more than standard since I had already spent so much with them and it was the same guy I had talked to before. But he took it upon himself to argue instead of just doing the code and making the sale. It blows my mind to think they would’ve gotten another $500 sale from me since I had two controllers in the cart and was ready to tell the discord server that I had found us a good modded controller. He would’ve sold 5-10 controllers today alone from people I sent but instead he took it personal like he was the one who screwed up before.

Funny enough the 10% code they sent for signing up email just happened to not work, oh what a coincidence!

Just glad the Jacob guy decided to argue and finally turn me away once and for all from Evil Controllers.

Shout out to Battle Beaver controllers! Were slightly better priced but the quality of the controller is night and day compared to Evil. There’s was so cheap and came barely packaged. As soon as I opened it I felt the wave of regret for buying from them. But when I received the Battle Beaver controller I was so glad that Evil’s customer support guy Jacob showed his true ignorant colors and made me look for a different company.

Thank you Jacob from Evil Controllers for showing how awful you and your company are which drove me to look elsewhere. And holy crap I’m so happy he did. Battle Beaver for life now. Not to mention their customer service person was actually kind and a pleasant person unlike the r3tard Evil hired.

Really hope Jonah and Adam Coe find out how the person they hired treats their customers. Would be cool to know how much money they would’ve gained from all the people wanting to buy but turned off from how awful that Jacob guy is.

Glad they hired Jacob the monkey because now I’m very happy I went to Battle Beaver instead.

Lol it’s in the name I guess. Don’t know why I expected a company with “Evil” in their name to be decent people.

Live and learn, glad to know I made them miss out on my $400+ and the friends I was sent out to find the best controller for. We all ordered from Beaver instead of Evil.

Thanks again Jacob from Evil Controllers! You being the hateful stick in the mud drove myself and my friends to spend our money elsewhere.

There customer service is non existent…

There customer service is non existent I purchased a evil controller on October 10 2023 I received it 5 days later so far it was good however when I first turned the controller on when I got it I noticed that my L1 & L2 trigger functions was flipped so for example I aimed down sight with L1 & L2 did what L1 was supposed to do so basically my triggers were not doing what they were supposed to mind you I didn’t ask for this nor pay this also I payed for increase d thumb-stick tension on both sticks & only received it on the right stick so I’m out of 30$ also a few days later my controller fell of my desk and the right stick came out & I couldn’t fix it because if you do … you void the warranty so I contacted evil & they sent me a return label & I sent it back. It’s been 3-4 days since they received it & I still haven’t heard anything back at this point I’m out of $294 dollars i tried to schedule 2 appointments with them but they never called me & email support is non existent they reply once & never again honestly if i don’t hear nothing back soon I’ll dispute it and get my money back it’s currently November 6 2023

They rob me for my controller

They rob me for my controller. I sent it back to them for them to fix it. It came to me broke. And they have the worst customer service ever you can’t even get in contact with them its just terrible they basically robbed me for $500 I’ve been waiting for the controller for a year just to find out they claim they sent it and never even gave me a tracking number. Worst experience ever.

Your order was repaired and shipped back to you within 2 weeks of us receiving it for repair and tracking is automated to your email when it ships.

From that time it took you over a year to contact us about your controller. How are we suspposed to know you did not receive it, if you never told us for over a year.

Ich habe ein Controller bestellt der leider zurück geschickt wurde weil die Adresse nicht korrekt war jetzt weiss niemand wo das Paket ist es ist seit fast 2 Monaten auf dem Rückweg zu evil Controller aber von denen meldet sich keiner mehr Paypal wurde auch informiert aber Paypal ist genau so hilfreich wie Evil Controller selbst momentan fühlt es sich an als würden sie mir mein Geld abzocken . Leider fühlt sich dort Niemand in der Pflicht das auf zu klären.

I ordered a controller that was unfortunately sent back because the address was incorrect, now no one knows where the package is, it has been on the way back to evil controllers for almost 2 months, but none of them have contacted us. PayPal was also informed, but PayPal is accurate as helpful as Evil Controller itself right now it feels like they are ripping my money off. Unfortunately, nobody there feels it is their duty to clarify this.

Button mapping non functional - missing some of the additional buttons we ordered.

The overall build quality was garbage for the price.

Absolute waste of money. Company won't refund until I pay to ship it back them in the united states at my own expense. Also won't refund the skip the queue fee or the express shipping.

Stay away - much better options on Etsy for accessibility.

We did offer to refund the shipping back to us on top of the FULL refund of the order. We also offered to refund shipping to us for repair of the controller as well. As you never sent it back to us we were not able to confirm any issus with the controller.

We are still happy to repair the controller.
