From start to finish I received a very professional service, dealing directly with Karen on the type and design of chair I needed. Very happy with the final product, comfortable and no back ache anymore.

* This company took my attention on a Google ad when I was using Google Shopping.
* Customer service staff working from home do use these chairs too, they are happy to answer questions about them.
* I got the Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair.
* Each part of the chair is adjustable:
* The back can translate vertically and tilt back and forth
* The lumbar support can tilt up/down
* The headrest can translate and tilt vertically
* The seat can tilt and slide back and forth and lifted/lowered
* The armrest can rotate left/right, slide back and forth and raise/lowered
* Moveable parts do mean they can be wobbly compared to being screwed.
* The chair is very heavy compared to other office chairs I've used.
* The chair comes semi-assembled but at the cost of being delivered in a *large* and *heavy* box.
* From the smell, I think the chair came out from the factory/workshop very recently. I would also bet it's made in the UK.
* From order to delivery took about 2-3 weeks.
* Price is fair compared to the market with a ~400 GBP budget.

I was looking for a new ergonomic chair for my home office and came across Ergonomic Chairs Direct. I enjoyed the process of customising my chair from the range of options. I was glad to read that they have physiotherapist approval for their chairs, and was impressed that their chairs were easy assemby and environmentally conscious. I felt that it was a good place to get my chair from for my home office as it was a company that cares. The customer service was excellent and I LOVE my new chair. Would definitely recommend over Viking or Amazon for a purchase this important!

I am nearly 70 and I suffer from fibromyalgia. I spend many hours sitting at my computer at home enjoying my voluntary work for the Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust. In addition to all of the pain associated with fibromyalgia, I also have lower back pain in my sacroiliac joint and in my coccyx. I have tried all kinds of treatment and also used a variety of seats to no avail.

With plenty of informed and helpful advice from Karen, I bought the Ergonomic High Back Moulded Office Chair with inflatable thoracic support, memory foam seat with coccyx cut-out and multi functional arms. I settled for a fabulous turquoise fabric. There is a large range of beautiful colours in two different fabric types to choose from.

I love my new chair and it is extremely comfortable. It took me a day or so to adjust it exactly to my requirements. It is way better for my body than any other chair I've tried and my pain is significantly less than it used to be. I feel fully supported around my back and the seat cut out has removed the pressure from my coccyx. My fibromyalgia pain seems easier too.

A huge thank you to Karen who has been so very helpful all along. She even sent me the instructions when she was away on holiday because I was too stupid to get them using the QR code. :)

I can thoroughly recommend ECD. I only wish I'd found them sooner.

We live relatively close to their showroom in Leicester and so we were able to go in, see the chairs and try them out (I'm not sure I would have wanted to order a chair unseen). Karen was very helpful and gave us very useful advice on the most appropriate chair for our body sizes and conditions (both my wife and I have back pain).

The chair was produced and delivered when they said it would be (it was delivered by one of their team fully assembled, I guess because we live close to Leicester) and the specification was spot-on. It immediately felt very comfortable and we have noticed our backs have improved since we had it.

A couple of observations. There are a lot of knobs and handles for adjustment and, whilst we managed to work out the adjustment from the details we were given it could have been a bit more user-friendly. Also, these chairs aren't cheap but, hopefully, ours will continue to perform for many years to come.

I don’t normally write reviews but this company was really superb. I got advise before I even indicated I was buying and no pressure applied. Arrived quickly, easy to put together and lots of options. My chiropractor has already said my back is much better. Even sorted out arms after I decided I did want them a couple of weeks later. Would definitely use again and recommend!

I suffer with lower back pain and am seated at a desk most of the day and chose the Ergo Express chair. The chair is incredible quality and has all the functionality and more that I was looking for. I wish I had bought sooner as it really makes a difference to my posture. The customer service has also been 5 star!

My new custom ergonomic chair has really helped my back. The chair builder was a great help in finding the right chair for someone who is shorter than average & being able to specify the features I wanted (like inflatable lumbar support) was really useful.
Despite Covid & Christmas, my chair arrived within the time frame specified & the customer service was excellent. It was also really easy to assemble.

It has been bothering me for some time. watching the way she (my daughter) sits in her chair for long periods of time doing her art work.i could see it visually changing her posture alignment. An Ergonomic chair was the ideal gift I thought, and luckily (daughter hard to please) it went down an absolute treat! She loves her chair with all its features and colour choice. I found this company by accident on a Google search and I’m so glad I did! I am a petite female and I didn’t even know you could get small office chairs for under 5ft 4’. After sitting on hugely oversized chairs for years this is a dream.
Along the way Karen (sales) provided me with fantastic advice and support. She helped me find the exact colour I wanted for my home office and guided me on which optional extras would be most beneficial. It wasn’t the cheapest but it’s arrived and now I can see why. Comfortable, stylish and pink (my choice!). I cannot recommend this company enough.

I very briefly entertained the idea of buying a chair from Amazon, yes it was cheaper but reading all the reviews they all seemed to not be very well made and broke in a short time and yes all made in China! I am fed up with buying cheap rubbish from China that doesn’t last and is of poor quality– they maybe initially cheaper to buy but if they don’t last & then end up in land fill they are more expensive!
I therefore bought the English made chair; the good website allowed me to customise exactly the type of chair I wanted. Sales kept me up to date with delivery, which was as promised.
The chair arrived, very pleased, great design, very high quality materials and manufacture. I asked advice on how to adjust it and got immediate comprehensive response – can’t recommend the chair or the company enough!

When my ancient Therapod chair broke beyond economic repair I spent hours online seeking a comparable replacement, as they are no longer made. Always there seemed to be something in the specifications that didn't quite fit my (admittedly finicky) demands. Then I found ECD and was able to put together a package that suited me at a reasonable price, and when the chair arrived I was delighted with it. It took a few days of tweaking the adjustments to get it just right, but I am now as comfortable at my desk as I was with my old faithful Therapod. I was afraid I would not find anything affordable to compare, but the new chair is just perfect. Thank You!

I ordered an ergonomic chair whilst im currently working from home. I have chronic Fibromyalgia. Lady who i dealt with was very helpful and friendly. Chair was very easy to assemble. Nice and comfortable. Everything works well……except the head rest does not adjust well enough forward and back. As a result when leaning on headrest, my view is looking more upwards, than at the screen. Would be alot better if headrest adjusted better as i suffer badly with neck pain.

I found this company online and ordered 2 chairs. I am so pleased I did. We now plan to order all our office chairs with them. The quality is very good and they have chairs to suit a variety of Ergonomic needs. Great customer service , fast delivery.
