Arranged to come and quote then didn't turn up at arranged time and ignored my follow up email.

I asked this company to give me a quote to upgrade a window. Edward replied and gave me a date and time, at the appointed time he emailed to say something had come up and he couldn’t call. These things happen, so I asked him to contact me when he was available. After a week I had heard nothing back so I emailed to ask if he was planning to come or should I look elsewhere. Still no response, so unfortunately I can only give 1star.

Edward and his team at EPS Sash and Case were a real pleasure to deal with and delivered a first class service in refurbishing a large number of deteriorated timber windows in my Victorian property. The up-front and ongoing advice provided by Edward was invaluable, not least in respect of the money-saving restoration of a large feature stairway-window which I had originally thought would require replacement at very high cost. The team ensured that repairs were always done in appropriate weather conditions and the quality of all elements of the work was to a very high standard with close attention to detail. The finish in terms of painting and mastic work is excellent - experienced window cleaners have since remarked on the sound quality of the mastic work. The company’s commitment to quality assurance has extended to a free one-year-on post-completion check-up inspection service. I am delighted with the results and intend to use EPS Sash and Case again in future.

Edward specialises in restoring sash and case windows, and, unlike every other specialist in town, will actually restore rather than replace your windows. Edward's lovely work allowed me to keep my original Victorian windows, whilst having modern insulation and a draught-proof home. I'm delighted with the results! No more rattling, no more indoor plants toppling over because the wind outside was so fierce - plus gorgeous windows, a long-term, sustainable solution and retention of the character of my flat. Highly recommend.

I arranged for EPS to come to my property to assess repairs required to our windows. Nobody turned up at the arranged time. When I finally spoke to someone in the office they said that the job wasn't in their diary and arranged another date to come. No show on that occasion either, nor answer to any of my calls or reply to message left.

We are extremely happy with the service that Mr Davidson provided, and the quality of work completed. We had been told by various tradesmen that one of our sash and case windows was in such a poor state of repair that it required complete replacement, at considerable cost and disruption.

Mr Davidson however was able to fully renovate the window to such a high standard that you would not know the extent of the work done. We found him to be extremely professional ,and would not hesitate to recommend EPS Sash and Case.

Very pleased with the work carried out by EPS sash and case. They were helpful when planning the work and offered a clear quote, all work was completed as discussed and my old sash windows are now looking great. Good to find a company that does the complete job and include exterior and interior painting as part of the refurbishment. Edward was easy to deal with and communication by email made things easy especially when I was at work. I would definitely recommend them.
