Gym has adequate equipment, but does not have everything they said they would have when fully furnished which is frustrating. Some examples:
- only 1 deadlift platform
- only 1 power rack
- only 25kg bumper plates and no other sizes

Not only was it advised that there would be more of that equipment; it’s generally considered standard equipment so surprised it’s not available. Also when you compare this to other similar priced gyms in the area (e.g. pure gym) it is something they have.

The deadlift platform is also not flat which means the bar can be prone to rolling when deadlifting.

Outside of the equipment gaps called out above the gym is good, not overly crowded, reasonably priced, has a good range of opening hours (5am-11pm) and the staff are friendly.

Lovely clean gym with many equipments! Staff are lovely and helpful too!!

Professional, welcoming and helpful staff that makes you want to go back over and over again (coming from someone who's previously felt quite intimidated going to busy, popular gyms).

It’s a nice gym with good facilities. However, it needs to be better staffed to make sure people don’t break the COVID rules. I’ve noticed that some don’t follow the rules such as wiping off the machines, staying longer than the slot. It’s important to make sure everyone feels safe.

Clean gym however very strange layout for example, what seem to be a big room in the middle of the gym floor (also a big eyesore and poorly finished). To what is an already small gym this could had been placed else where. Also not enough gym equipment, would be nice to have a abs crunch machine. When classes are on in The Yard there is no space for other exercises.

I like the gym facilities and layout. But I’m worried at the lack of staff making sure covid rules preventions are respected. People over stay 1h booking and don’t always wipe machines. There is a sign that reads “do not drink from fountain “ it’s only for bottle use but people try to drink from it only to find out it’s out of service which is funny however no staff has been around to see it.

The team at énergie fitness really do take the time to get to know you as a person and are then much better placed to be on point for helping you achieve your goals, really friendly.
You would not go wrong here!
