We are addressing you as lifelong Manchester United fans upon hearing the news that Raine Group have advanced your company through to the next stage of the sale process of Manchester United football club.

Having been made aware that you had representatives from your firm in attendance at Manchester Uniteds game against Real Betis last night, you will have been made aware of the ill feeling towards the Glazer family. So, the message from us is this. Walk away. Do not even think of doing any business with anyone interested in purchasing Manchester United, or indeed assisting the parasitic Glazer family to remain in their capacity of owners.

We are not interested in your firm offering funds to any potential bidder, nor are we interested in hearing about your proposals. We have had 18 years of the Glazer family ownership and in that time some £2.2bn has been stolen, misappropriated under the guise of management fees, dividends, and consultancy fees whilst the capital interest debt repayments have had to have been paid. All this from the clubs bank accounts.

Manchester United NEVER had any debt until the Glazer family came along and saddled the club with the enormous debt that is still there today. Our stadium was always a standard bearer for other clubs, whilst our training facilities were considered world class. Note the phrase 'were'.

Under the Glazer family, our stadium has been left to rot, whilst the training facilities are so far behind other world class sporting facilities, huge amounts of money will have to be spent in order to make up that gap. And we are talking about billions of pounds here, a sum that you should look at as an investment in the community, rather than one which is a return on your normal investment principles. Do you get the hint yet?

This brings us to your firm. You made a mess in the short time you were involved at AC Milan, and as you are an activist management firm who use strong arm tactics to get 'what you want' because you loaned money in the first instance, you will no doubt seek to utilise the same tactics with Manchester United.

However, there is one thing you have not considered. The wishes of Manchester United fans the world over, and we are not remotely interested in you having any say or investment stake of any kind.

Should you remain steadfast and try and go forward with your investment proposals, we will seek to disrupt your normal business like we have done with other companies who invested with the Glazer family. You won't know how or when, but it will be done continuously until you leave Manchester United alone. Ask the executive team at Manchester United how sponsors were targeted and then sponsors cut their ties. You won't be the only one who uses 'interesting tactics' to achieve the end goal. Only ours will be done with the help of the masses who are opposed to your very involvement.

Let us briefly talk about one sponsor who left after our involvement. TeamViewer is one. The main shirt sponsor for Manchester United who decided after they were 'gently persuaded' that remaining in league with the thieves who go by the name of the Glazers, was not conducive to their company balance sheet remaining healthy.

The one final comment should be made very clear to you all at Elliott Management.

How do you ever expect to attend a Manchester United home game without protest? You really think we would welcome you with open arms? There is not a chance that happens, and we would make it as uncomfortable for you as we have done the Glazers. We would do that at every game until you left, if you were allowed to have any say or invest under the governments new footballing regulator rules. Seems the U.K government will prevent another debt laden takeover from happening like what occurred when the Glazers first came to Manchester in 2005.

Stay with your normal investments, and do not venture towards our club.
