Thank goodness for East Neuk Campervans. Finally, we’ve found a 5.4m van with full length single beds, a bathroom, decent storage including a place for chairs, and the piece de resistance, no gas! The van feels remarkably spacious due to the low counter top over the fridge, light wood colour, neutral interior and two roof lights.

With a 140w solar panel, two lithium batteries totalling 400 amps, a 3500h inverter alongside 2 induction hobs, you can go off grid for around 4 days. We’ve never plugged in, and even more surprising is we’ve never had cause to worry about charging up. Heating and hot water are providing via a Truma 6de diesel/240v heater. The Vitrafrigo 85l compressor fridge is far more efficient than a 3 way and no need to supplement it with additional fans. We’ve experienced temperatures from zero to 34c during our first trip and both the fridge and heating coped admirably.

The build quality, thought and attention to detail that has gone into these vans is outstanding. There are very few rattles whilst driving, in fact you sometimes forget you’re in a campervan. That coupled with 37mpg, I can honestly say there’s nothing we don’t like about it.

Darren, Dave and the team have done a great job and nothing is too much trouble. Handover went smoothly, stopping overnight on the premises before travelling home.

I can highly recommend them, for both the vans and the service received.

Thank you Darren for brilliant service again. We had a couple of little issues with a 15 year old used Touring M we purchased around 4 months ago. After a call we were sorted within a few days (isn't that amazing nowadays!) And all was sorted to the highest standard too. I thoroughly recommend this company.

Had a problem with drop down bed in my motorhome. Phoned around a few places up Wester Ross, no one could give me any booking for 3to4 weeks. Phoned Darren at East Neuk and he gave me a booking in a week.That gave me plenty time to make my way to Fife. Darren sorted the bed in jig time.I have used East Neuk Campers before and highly recommend them.First class service from very knowledgeable personnel.

We've had our Fifer Touring L since June 2019. We couldn't be more pleased with both the van and the whole buying and after purchase help and advice. Quality of build, attention to detail, and practical design have made our Fifer a pleasure to own.

We initially went to look at a used van, but were so impressed with both the vans and the business we ordered a new Fifer L. There was no pressure selling, we had a really interesting tour of the workshop, were then left to look over the showroom vans, but David and Darren were always on hand to answer the many questions we had. They have a real passion for their vans. The vans are really well thought out, storage and build quality are amazing. When we collected our van the handover covered everything, we stayed on site the 1st night, the facilities are brilliant. We headed off for a Scottish tour calling back in on our return home for some minor adjustments. These were attended to without delay and we were on our way. We've just returned for some delayed warranty work, extras and minor servicing. Again Darren took the time to discuss our requirements and the van was quickly dispatched to the workshop. We collected it in the afternoon and are really pleased with the work carried out. Quality and attention to detail really stand out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend East Neuk Campervans. They are one of our favourite companies.

Impressive Quality and Helpful Service

We have just returned from a 6 week tour of Scotland in our Fifer M van, incorporated in the trip was what has become a welcome visit to Anstruther where we pass the van to Darren and Dave for its annual check up. We are greeted with the same friendly courtesy as the day we bought the van from them.
We have owned our Fifer M since 2018 after falling in love with the airy spacious feel and the quality of the fitting out. The impressive workshop demonstrates the expertise and meticulous care, thought, and detail that goes into each vehicle.
When we collected the van Darren and Dave went out of their way to explain how everything worked and they continue to respond to any queries we have with friendly helpfulness.
The Fifer M is perfect for two and we have had a lot of fun exploring the UK and abroad and look forward to many more trips.

We have now had our first trip in our second East Neuk Fifer campervan and it went very well. We had our first van, a short wheel base, for eleven years and in that time it provided all we needed for our travels and was a great servant. The new van is a Fifer Touring M and provides us with great bathroom and living facilities. Like the first van, it has been very well designed and built to a high standard.

We took delivery of this van last October days before the reintroduction of tighter Covid restrictions and therefore before and on this trip we had to refamiliarize ourselves with the new facilities. We made a couple of phone calls to Darren and Dave for clarification and in their usual helpful manner, everything was explained.

The trip also gave us the opportunity to identify a couple of extra features that would work for us. On our return trip via Anstruther, these were provided with no fuss - great customer service yet again. We are now set up for many great trips.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We bought a £55,500 van in August 2020 with a chunk of my pension when I retired. We thought this was our dream retirement vehicle, but it was faulty when we bought it and broke down after nine days. To cut a long story short, it had to have a new Engine Control Unit installed which then failed again five weeks later. So it has now had two new ECUs. We finally got the van back from the second warranty repair on March 1, by which time it had spent more than five months of the seven months we have owned it sitting in a garage waiting for parts - through no fault of our own.
East Neuk Campervans helped us on the first occasion - after an argument - but when it failed again they refused our request for a full refund, or a replacement vehicle, which we believe we were entitled to under the Consumer Rights Act. They also refused to offer us anything while it sat in a Citroen garage on the second occasion for three and a half months. When we got it back they offered us a derisory £48,000 buy-back figure, which would have meant us losing £7,000 for a vehicle we had used for nine nights!
We could have taken legal action but that would have cost us a lot and we didn’t want the stress that would go with it. We got no help and constant arguments. We’ll never use them again. Beware!
