I had a serious problem and because of my strange plumbing the guys that came out couldn’t do the job until a huge thorny bush was removed. They kindly waited half an hour while I got a neighbour and his chainsaw to remove said bush. The blockage was then cleared and all my pipe work made good again. Highly recommend if you have a blockage.

2 men arrived exactly when they said. Explained the work involved to my husband. Helpful and polite at all times. Thank you Marilyn

I phoned about midday and 2 lovely men arrived an hour later and cleared our pipe within half hour, despite it being an awkward job they were very happy and just got on with it.
I was very happy with their service and can’t recommend them enough.

Two very pleasant helpful engineers. Rang at 7.30am to say they would be arriving in half an hour for which I was grateful as booking was for anytime between 8 - 1pm.

Very quick and efficient. Same day service as my call. Nice people on the phone and very helpful engineers!

The guys phoned when on their way so I had a clear idea of time, they were really polite and explained exactly what they were doing and showed me what the problem was and the solution. They worked hard and tidied everything up at the end of the job. I couldn't fault them at all.

Previously a Dyno van failed to brake and bump into my car and damaged my rear bumper. However Dyno Plumbing (Great Day) refused to response and ignore my claim. Obviously, DYNO IS A COMPANY WITH NO SENSE OF RESPONSIBILTY. Their driver will just hit and go away.

Engineer was very efficient and got the job done quickly.

Engineer came was really polite and kept in touch.
When booking the job in. Was told someone would be out to quote and complete works same day if i was hapy with quote. Guy came only to quote and not complete (i had booked a day off for no reason then). He said I had to phone up to book in, he didnt even have the equipment to do the work.

On initial phoned call I was advised £175 for the first hour and then half hour rate after. However today was told £350 + VAT for the job. After engineer left he phoned and apologised he forgot to quote labour (2 people all day) bringing the total to over £1000 but will bring an official quote later.

In the mean time I called someone else who took 3 hours and fixed the issue on his own.

Still waiting on my revised quote.

At phone call on booking, and again at 8.09 am on morning of appointment was told the engineers would arrive between 8 am-1 pm - a very wide timescale. Waited on site all morning. At 20 to 1 there was no sign of them so I made a call. Was assured by DynoRod that engineers would be with us in 20 mins. Finally arrived at 2.20 pm, ie 1 hr 20 mins after confirmed end-appointment time. Engineers said on arrival we had got it wrong - it was a pm appointment! It took a while for them to understand problem but they finally seemed to, and managed to do some of the job. It was unpleasant for them so they did well. It would require a revisit to remove tree roots found in the drains. So job not yet complete.

I had to wait 5 days for a workman to attend to my kitchen drain, because Dyno-Rod no longer consider a kitchen drain to be urgent. The workman arrived without all the necessary equipment, and what he had was breaking down. He failed to clear the blockage, and told me that I would have to have the sink, cupboard and floor removed, so that rods could be poked into the gulley. Later that afternoon I phoned an independent company. They came within half an hour with all the necessary equipment, cleared the drain effectively and left everything in working order. Dyno-Rod did not charge me for the visit, but, having relied on them for many years, I will never risk having them in my house again.

Couldn’t resolve issue but recommended an alternative provider to resolve. Couldn’t ask for more.

The engineers and plumbers that have dealt with our problem have been excellent.

When I have rung the office the service has been far less satisfactory.

So if you can find someone in the office who will actually pass messages on and make arrangements you will eventually get to some really good engineers who do a very professional job !

I normally come on here to complain so really pleased to be able to write a positive review. The block of flats where I live in Colchester has drain problems and this time it was bad. Shower flooded the bathroom, sewage from the toilet coming up in shower. Phoned Dynarod and Bradley arrived that afternoon. It was a pretty horrific smelling blockage but he dealt with it brilliantly and then after noticing my sink was draining slowly (it has always been slow) checked with a drill and a pressure hose and managed to haul out a huge amount of lime scale which had built up over years. He was efficient and helpful and sorted it all out and then came in and cleaned my shower too. I live on my own and need to know I can rely on companies like this. Absolutely excellent service and I am pleased to say so and to pass on my compliments to the person I spoke to on the phone and to Bradley.
