Delighted with the travel mattress…
Delighted with the travel mattress protector from Duvalay. Having recently bought a click clack type chair bed I wanted something to elevate its comfort for guests. But as it won't be used all the time I needed a product which could be rolled up and stored away so this was a perfect choice. The other advantage was the choice of widths as I wanted 77cm to match the bed.
Really impressed by the quality and comfort.

I had the absolute pleasure, as a repeat customer, of purchasing from Duvalay. The experience was exceptional (especially with the new site). The product itself is super comfy, easy to setup and just as easy to roll back up, especially with my bad back.

Mistake made in manufacturing bespoke sheets, but immediately rectified on notifying. It only delayed delivery by 6 working days. Good service.

Excellent Product and Customer Service
I’ve recently bought a mattress topper and fitted sheet from Duvalay.
They were so helpful in advising on measurements etc. even sending a detailed pdf of the mattress specific to our motorhome for confirmation of exact measurements prior to the topper being made.
Delivery was really quick and the topper fitted perfectly. I would definitely recommend Duvalay.

The smell from the foam base is not pleasant
The ordering process was easy and delivery was prompt. My only complaint is that the foam base is very smelly. We left it uncovered outside to air but it has taken over two weeks to fade away. There is still a faint smell, not pleasant. I bought a Duvalay sleeping bag about two years ago and can’t remember noticing any smell with that one. Perhaps they are now using a different type of foam.

What you’re describing can occasionally occur with new foam products and is known as “off-gassing.” This is a natural and temporary process where a new product may release a slight odour after being unpacked. We’d like to reassure you that we have not changed the type or quality of foam used, and that this is completely harmless.
While this isn’t something we commonly hear from customers, we do understand that sensitivity to new product odours can vary from person to person. The smell should continue to fade over time, particularly if the product is left in a well-ventilated space, as you have been doing.
We do appreciate that it can be unpleasant initially, and we’re grateful for your patience while it dissipates. If you have any ongoing concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact our team and we’ll be more than happy to help further.
