What is with these folks? I ordered three items from their 2024 Memorial Day sale. Today is June 5. Memorial Day was 5/27. It took them until Thursday that week to send an email stating my order is processed and shipped and they included a tracking number, which is nice. My package never left.
USPS says a label was created on 5/30 (that seems like a crazy amount of time compared to other vendors) and as of yesterday 6/4/24, my package label was created and still waiting, waiting, waiting… . It was not picked up. I know the USPS carrier scans priority at the PO when the items are dropped off.
I did read that a new post office in the area was all sorts of wonky! Be honest then.
Then I chatted with a CSR, I advised the above and requested an ETA or status. I got “the items are in stock, do you want to reorder?” One might expect, “let me look into that.”
That said, I advised that I will reorder but I am not paying twice and they complied but I did ask if they want to take a look to see. She was confident that they were lost forever.
The CSR sent me a fed ex return envelope and told me to return the USPS items when they arrive. This confused me as they told me that they were lost for good. I’m super worried I will be charged for not returning my first package that never arrives.
Another item to note, Oddly I was upgraded to ‘Ground shipping’ from USPS priority. Come again? Ground takes forever and I mentioned it wasn’t an upgrade (priority is the way to go and I didn’t order priority in the first place - what is going on?)
Now my package is being sent via Fed Ex with an arrival date of 6/17. If anyone knows anything about Fed ex it is that they are horrible since they started subcontracting.
I got my items on deep discount and maybe they had a huge order, but their webpage said 5 days. Not two /three weeks. This is crazy! Customers respect honesty so if it will arrive by mid June, just advise before purchase.
I will update if they charge my card more than once! If they don’t I will not update. (Today is 6/5).
Lifetime No Bull guarantee is total bull
I had a Lifetime belt given to me at Christmas 2021. The stitching failed in April 2024. I contacted Duluth and they responded with a canned response stating they will not repair the belt. They did not even take the time to look at the damages to the belt. The belt was not abused in any way, and clearly the stitching failed due to poor quality of materials. It is a real shame that Duluth is all about the marketing, and not at all about the customer.
UPDATE: After seeing the negative review, Duluth actually did the right thing and sent me a new belt. I wish they would have sent me the replacement for the right reason, rather than send me a replacement only after the negative reviews.
Horrible customer service and wasteful…
Horrible customer service and wasteful policies! I placed an order and immediately noticed PayPal had given them the incorrect shipping address. Called and email right away to remedy the situation. Was told NOTHING could be done and I just have to wait until the items were delivered to the wrong address, let them know it was never delivered so they can refund me and I can try ordering again. What in the unnecessarily complicated wasteful of every possible resource imaginable is that!? There is ZERO chance ya’ll boxed up my order and put it on a truck in 15 minutes or less. Zero. I’ll be demanding a refund, NOT reordering, and leaving reviews of this horrible customer service everywhere possible. Ridiculous.

I paid $15 for expedited shipping. 2 to 3 business days. My order was only $75. I wont see my order for 10 days after I paid in full. Phone support blamed the shipping company. What a scam! Free shipping was slated at 5 to 7 business days. I wouldnt buy here ever again. 1 and done.

I bought 4 woman’s elbow length tees
I bought 4 woman’s elbow length tees. Wow! What a change in quality from my last order. The shirts they sent are nothing like what they advertise or the quality they used to be. Very thin material and shrink a full size when washed. These shirts are supposed to be 2 inches longer than normal tee for extra coverage. In reality they are shorter than normal. They are selling garbage items and charging a lot for them. Buyer beware!!

Just purchased 4 long sleeve t-shirts to replace some of my older ones , what a disappointment they are no where close to my old ones, material is thin, they are not as long in the back, I have a lot of clothing from Duluth and I can say what happened to the quality, very disappointing.

management is extremely cruel how they fire seasonal employees. One hour before your shift you get a call from HR telling you your job has ended. Guessing this is a upper management decison (not a local level decesion) Jobs are extremely boring, simple and basic.I worked at the Dubuque Iowa Distribution Center. Most of the training is very poor. Point system very strict. They lose a lot of employees because of this point system. This location has a very high/poor employee retention rate. They lost 20 employees in one day. Avoid working for this company

I'm an ex long time customer
I'm an ex long time customer. I ordered a pair of suspenders and base layer...after more than a week no one could tell me when the order would ship. "The warehouse is running a week behind"... I heard that story multiple times
I finally drove 30 miles to a DT store and bought the items.
I then tried to cancel the order ..'can't do that' had to wait for it to be shipped and then return.
I have been chasing the refund on a product that was returned without being opened for the past two weeks...finally, after the 4th or 5th call trying to reconcile what DT said was refunded against what was going to my credit card I finally got it sorted.
Every aspect of this order experience was a disaster. The brand is broken I called today to request my account be deleted. I'm done with them.
Good stuff, pathetic, terrible, case study awful shipping and customer service.
During the last year, they have sold Me things that they do not have. They have stated that they had shipped things that were never shipped. Wrong items delivered.- THATS JUST SHIPPING. The website seems to have hidden traps designed to ship you things that you don’t want. I would rather wait in line in a Russian Motor Vehicles Office than wait for their telephone system.

How a company goes from so good to so bad is beyond me. They never even respond to customer email about issues and I sat on hold for almost an hour before giving up. They shipped me the wrong product and then I had to pay to send that back and get the right one, thankfully I only lost $15 over it. Will never shop here again. Buyer beware

Im contacted the BBB and hope that will resolve my issue. This was my experience: I placed 1 online order, however my bank account had 2 withdrawals for DTC in 2 different amounts. Their online chat shows its not working and to contact customer service. Contacted customer service the first 2 times waiting 30+ mins. The first time it was like someone answered but no one said anything the music stipped the line was still connected. Then the 2nd time the music stops like someone is going to answer and then a fax like sound cones on. Im still on hold for my 3rd call at 45mins. I emailed their customer service and also messaged their facebook page! I even requested a call back. If they treat their customers like this I cant imagine how they treat their employees.
Constructive criticism:
Dont offer online shopping unless you have the staff to assist. Sadly I will never shop here again due to this experience and plan on returning everything I ordered online.
VERY BAD customer service
VERY BAD customer service. Extremely long wait times on phone. I am at 3 hours as I write this and still have not talked to a live person. Just bad music and repeating to please stay on the line and that I am being connected with a customer service representative. There is a good possibility that my phone battery could go dead.
The simple problem is that my order is incomplete although it is listed as complete. And since it is a gift for Christmas and I ordered it so that it would get here early, I am so disappointed. All I want to do is get the rest of the order sent before Christmas.
I will not be ordering again from this company. I have lost all faith in this company. Duluth will never be included in consideration for gifts or for purchases.
UPDATE: Duluth did correct their error and sent the rest of the order in time for Christmas.
Women's puffer jacket was very flimsy…
Women's puffer jacket was very flimsy and cheap looking. It was also way oversized! Neither the medium or small fit me. I sent it back due to poor quality and sizing. Obviously, I did not exchange for an extra small, since the product was or such poor quality. $7.99 to return the jacket because I was returning and not exchanging. What a rip off! Never again will I order from Duluth Trading.
