My experience with Dubai First Credit Card customer service has been very poor. Reaching their support team is extremely difficult, and when you finally connect, the responses are unhelpful and unprofessional. Issues are not resolved on time, and there is no proper follow-up.

I’ve been following up since 11 December regarding an incorrect AECB update, but there has been no response or resolution from customer service. Being told that the report “cannot be corrected” despite clear discrepancies is extremely disappointing.

Bad experience with Dubai First credit card.
I used the Dubai First credit card, and I had a very bad experience with this bank's credit card. Compared to other banks, this is the worst. When you close the credit card, you don’t receive any email notifying you that your card ending with this number has been canceled. You will only receive a notification that the card has been blocked. Other banks send proper emails. I called customer care and emailed, but I didn't receive any proper response. I visited the bank, but there was nothing they could do; you can't see the Dubai First branding, only FAB. The officer at FAB is not knowledgeable about Dubai First. Very bad experience with Dubai First credit card. 👎👎

I took the cash back card from bank's direct staff. He send his ID also. He told the card is without annual fee. But in my first statement itself i saw the annual fee and when i call the bank, they told we don't have any card without annual fee. I told them to take action against this staff and let me know the action you taken. But they told we will take action, but we can't disclose it with you. Then how can I understand the action which they taken.
I recommend, anyone not to go for any cards from this bank.

False information by Dubai First representative. Not a genuine organisation to deal with. Hefty charges and for the wrong reasons. I don't want to know why the UAE financial institutions have not taken any actions from them.
A very shady policy for a bank
I have fully paid my balance before the due date and has long stop using my credit card with them. And all of a sudden got an interest charge when my following statement was billed. Whats so screwed up with their policy is that you will need to pay two full payments for you not to be charged an interest rate. How can you even wait for a second payment if you have settled your balance ahead of time??
A non trustworthy bank Dubai First
A non trustworthy bank where you have to pay for their internal staff mistake. They will block your card and don’t allow you to use for a certain period of time and request you to pay all the outstanding before proceeded with the cancellation. After that they did not cancel and force you to pay for another year of annual fee (again without unlock the card) before cancellation. This is how they earn your money. Use it with care!
Worst Bank in the world
I have had one of the worst banking experiences with Dubai first in Dubai. Their credit card services are extremely disappointing – unfair charges, lack of transparency, and no proper response from management or customer support.
Despite raising multiple complaints, I have received no resolution, only excuses and delays. It feels like they are taking advantage of customers instead of supporting them.
I strongly advise others to think twice before using their credit card services. Trust and accountability should be the foundation of any financial institution, but unfortunately, Dubai first has failed on both.
Fraudsters.
They are a team of frauds who are openly defrauding innocent people in taking their credit cards with white lies. I and my colleagues have been defrauded by Baba Shiekh Fakrudeen. I see his name in other review as well for defrauding customers. I warn everyone not to take any Dubai First credit cards from any agent/person claiming to be from FAB/Dubai First. If you want, take it directly from there website/app after first reading all the applicable terms & conditions and offers being shown on their website and don't trust any of their agent if they tell you about any kind of promotion like annual fee waiver or welcome bonus etc.

Third class unprofessional bank.NEVER TRUST THEIR SALES PERSON.GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING WITH THEIR MANAGER COPY IN EMAIL .MAKE SURE WHAT THEY SAY IS IN OFFICAL BANK DOCUMENT.It is difficult to lie if you get things in writing,if they refuse it is red flag.
They misrepresent with me about credit card offer.They told i will get 1500 AED welcome bonus plus first year fee waiver if i spend 3000 AED in first month .They deliberately quote wrong amount it was 5000 aed not 3000.I never got that bonus even i spent way more than they mentioned.On contacting bank their usual response is that we will take action against sales person and nothing happen ,next person will do the same, it is their managment that is fraud.NEVER DEAL WITH THIS BANK.I have bad experience with them twice.Trust me their sales tactics are very very cheap and go down to any level to sell their products.Seems like they hired professional scammers .If you deal with them, chances are your details will be passed onto other scammer networks.Do report to Central BANK OF UAE if they cheat you.Alteast authorities will know what they are doing to their customers.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dubai First Credit Card. I was promised a “free for life” card along with a 1,000 AED bonus, but after signing up:
• I have been charged fees despite being told the card is free for life.

• The salesperson who handled my application is no longer responding.
• When contacting First Abu Dhabi Bank, they are defending the salesperson instead of resolving the issue.
This feels like a misleading promotion and poor customer service. I would not recommend this credit card to anyone who expects honesty and proper support.

Credit Card sale fraud
FAB senior relationship officer sold Dubai First credit card by passing entire wrong information, saying that card free for life and comes with welcome bonuse etc but hundreds of annual subscription charges applied and on making complaint bank not even entertain complaint professionally, no action and respect to cusyomer at all even you sent multiple emails, systematic response without any human understandinf on your complaint.I really have bad experience with FAB Dubai First, dont recommend to trust them at all.
Credit Card Fraudullent sale with no action by the bank
It is disappointed with the services of Dubai First – FAB which is owned and operated by FAB (First Abu Dhabi Bank). I have been approached by FAB senior relationship officer introducing their Dubai First Cashback credit card, he completely passed wrong information about card just to make a fraud sale, majorly said “card is free for life”, welcome bonus etc; I was convinced and he got filled in digital form and without any bank call or verification they directly dispatched card in few days and card limit was not even up to the mark.
I come to know about this fraud when annual subscription charges applied on my card, I contacted customer service, instead of support or empathy, I was told to pay the annual subscription charges which can’t be reverse as per bank policy, I have again sent complaint form in email detail proof of messages but without any human understanding or investigation a systematic reply received saying that “reversal of annual membership charges has been denied.
This entire experience raises questions:
Ø How can a bank protect such fraudulent activity and impose entire loss/damages on customer?
> Is that mean bank allows their relationship officers to make credit card sales in all means!
> Why do bank not make a verification calls either I am approached by a authentic person
> Where is customer rights & satisfaction when they make complaints?
> Is that bank justice to your customers or do they just protect their staff?
All my given proof clearly shows that FAB sales staff did fraud but unfortunately bank did nothing, so entire damages put on customer, is that right and fair to customer? it is surprising and had a very bad experience with Dubai First - FAB.
DUBAI FIRST - CREDIT CARD PROVIDER WITH POOR CUSTOMER PROTECTION SYSTEM
I noticed my credit card was blocked, and when I checked the app, it showed 3 unknown charges, one of which was from a black market site. I called the bank immediately, asking them to reverse the charges, as the name alone indicated fraud. But the agent told me I had to wait for the merchant to claim the amount—why? It’s clearly fraud, so why wait?
Two days later, I filed a complaint, but after a month, they rejected my dispute, claiming an OTP was sent on May 15, even though the fraudulent transaction happened on June 13. How is an OTP valid for a month? The bank refused to provide further assistance, insisting it was my fault because they sent an OTP, which I never received. They passed this "authenticated" OTP to Sanadak, and once they say it’s been sent, there’s no further discussion, even if the customer didn’t receive it.
Don’t trust this bank. It’s obvious they have a poor customer protection system, and if their system fails, they won’t take accountability. They’ll let their clients suffer because of their own mistakes.
