The process at collection was awful
The process at collection was awful. Card machine wouldn’t accept our card and ended up losing our booking fee for the car along with a lot of time. The guys at the desk - whilst pleasant - where extremely pushy trying to sell their insurance extras - pushing for excess etc. One person walked out while we were there. We won’t be using drivalia Belfast nor recommending them to anyone.
This experience was exactly the horror story car rental you hear of!

Got in to trouble last minute
Got in to trouble last minute, luckily these guys saved the day, picked me up from the airport took me to there depot and I was on the road within 15 mins, all credit to RK, NB Who arranged it all and there friendly driver rob who picked me up, every single person I’ve mentioned is an asset to Drivalia, keep up the amazing work gents!

My first Drivalia. It won't be my last
My first time hiring with Drivalia at Belfast International Airport. I had booked via booking.com but wanted to add an additional driver on.
Tony on the desk made the changes all very easy. The price differential was fair and much cheaper than a competitor I had done a price comparison with.
Tony walked us to the car and explained a few things as Ive never driven a hybrid car before. Car was super clean. And everything went smoothly.
Handover on return was also supersmooth and I reckon I will be using Drivalia again if its this easy and competitively priced.
The £1500 reserve on the credit card is high. But I have every faith it will be vanished in the month as stated in the T&C.
I have a yearly policy to cover excesses. Which I would advise folks to do if they hire cars.

Great customer experience and very helpful staff
I've hired a few cars from this company and always have had a great experience.
From airport to off-site area, back to the airport, was smooth and without any hassles.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
In fact, on the last trip, I got an upgrade! but the quality of the cars has always been great.

Great experience
I was a bit worried about hiring a car off site from the airport but it was a really simple experience. A driver collected us from the airport, took us to the hire car and the whole process was straight forward. Staff were all very helpful especially Tony.

Shuttle good, car not great
Shuttle from airport to collect the car was good. Two sets of instructions online - one said that the would track our flight and would collect us, another said we had to call. We called to play it safe. Return shuttle was also good.
Car that we picked up was not in great condition. Lots of scratches, big dent in the rear passenger door. We asked how to open the petrol cap and they had to prise it open with a key. Warning light on the dashboard that they hadn’t talked us through.
Considering the amount they charge people if they damage the car I’d expect their cars to be in good condition.

Superb service, turned “botched” booking into great experience
After having a “botched” booking through Easyjet, I thankfully landed in the safe hands of Tony at Belfast International, his service was excellent, and immediately put my mind at rest. Pick up was on time , superb car supplied, affordable rental and insurance and all communications were clear and easy. The next time I need to rent a car I will look no further than Drivalia.
