Excellent service from start to finish

It was great experience start to finish of my buying process. Being accommodated without an appointment during my first visit, further appointments to test drive, addressing any concerns I had on the car I chose and all the way to the delivery; all great and very happy overall. Tony and his Stellar service!

I’ve been a customer at Walton Audi for over a decade, and every experience—especially this recent purchase of my Audi A5—has been consistently excellent. I initially came in expecting a straightforward process, but Tony once again went above and beyond. Over the years, he’s taken the time to truly understand my preferences and needs, and he’s also been incredibly helpful in supporting my brother with his cars as well. This makes the whole experience feel personal rather than transactional. He knows exactly what works for me and always guides me with genuine care and insight.

The service across the dealership is equally impressive. From the warm and welcoming reception team to the comfortable, positive atmosphere throughout, it’s always a pleasure to visit. Even when my car is in for servicing, I’m able to work comfortably there, which speaks volumes about the environment they’ve created.

Tony remains the standout—his consistency, professionalism, and personal approach are the key reasons I continue to return. That level of trust and service is why I’m very happy to give five stars.

Easy to purchase a car

Immaculate service!

TLDR – car breaks down in Italy. Fault diagnosed by Sean at Epsom Audi over the phone. Car repaired locally in Italy. Car taken into Epsom Audi when we get back for health check. Warranty and other repairs fitted in around their scheduled work and car ready a few days later. Immaculate service!

We were driving back from the far end of Italy to the UK when an electrics/battery warning light came on, and the air conditioning stopped, but there was no further indication of what the cause of the problem was. The car seemed to be running fine, but we had a long way to go. We found a nearby Audi dealer; they were no help but suggested a very large dealership not far away. They were no help either and, with no better ideas, we phoned Sean at Epsom Audi. He diagnosed the problem in about 10 seconds as a broken alternator belt. That enabled us to get the part number for the belt from the Italian dealer (they didn’t have a belt in stock), get a new belt from the second of two car spares shops, and then get it fitted at an auto electrics repair garage at 7:30pm. Audi recovery was getting under way, but they were happy for us to try and get a new belt and have it fitted. After another two days of driving, we were back in the UK and took the car to Epsom Audi for a health check. They were fully booked, but Sean arranged to take the car in and fit it in around their scheduled work. The bearing on the belt tensioner was failing, and the new belt was slipping. Sean arranged for that to be repaired under warranty, and we had the front brake discs and pads replaced too, plus an outstanding recall rectification.
Had it not been for Sean, we would have missed several nights’ booked accommodation, a ferry crossing, and would have been stuck with two dogs somewhere in northern Italy while repairs and/or recovery were carried out. Immaculate service!

Worst Audi Centre in the UK

An utterly disgraceful experience with Audi Epsom — one that reflects a complete failure in both product integrity and customer care.

I purchased a 2021 Audi A3 under the Approved Used scheme, reasonably expecting the level of quality and reliability synonymous with a premium brand. Instead, at a mere 29,000 miles ( the car is 4.5 years old) the entire 5F system — a critical and integral component — has catastrophically failed. The response? A staggering £5,000 repair quote, or a casual suggestion to seek a third-party fix for £2,000, all while offering absolutely no goodwill or accountability.

What makes this even more indefensible is that prior to failure, the screen was noticeably overheating — a clear warning sign of an underlying issue. Yet Audi Epsom have conveniently claimed they are “unable to fully investigate” the cause, while still expecting full payment. This contradiction is as unacceptable as it is telling.

For a marque that trades on engineering excellence and customer trust, this level of product failure at such low mileage is inexcusable. The complete absence of responsibility or support only compounds the issue.

To make matters worse, a genuine review of this experience was removed on the basis that it was not initially written directly by me — a convenient technicality used to suppress legitimate criticism rather than address it. That alone speaks volumes about how this business handles transparency.

This experience has not only cost them a fiercely loyal customer and my entire family — all long-time Audi owners — but has also ensured that I will never consider purchasing an Audi again. A premium badge means nothing when the service behind it is so profoundly lacking.

My recent experience with Audi Approved Epsom has moved from disappointing to utterly unacceptable.

Upon collecting my vehicle, I was presented with a car that had not even been washed—an astonishingly basic failure of preparation. I was then told that the team “didn’t know” I would be picking the car up. This is simply untrue. Alex Perry had been informed in advance, and to suggest otherwise only compounds the lack of accountability on display.

In a move that is as baffling as it is careless, the vehicle’s system language had been changed to Chinese. While perhaps intended as a trivial adjustment, it demonstrates a complete lack of attention to detail and respect for the customer experience. Ironically, Mandarin happens to be one of several languages I speak—but that is entirely beside the point.

Most alarming of all, the airbag warning light has now appeared. This is not cosmetic; it signals a potential safety system malfunction—commonly associated with faulty seat sensors, damaged wiring, a defective clock spring, or a failing control module. In other words, the vehicle has been returned to me in a condition that is not only worse than before, but potentially unsafe.

To add insult to injury, after having the car in their possession for three weeks, they returned it with a low key battery warning—an issue that takes minutes to resolve and yet was evidently deemed too much trouble. It perfectly encapsulates the level of care and attention applied throughout this entire process.

What should have been a straightforward service interaction has instead become a case study in negligence, miscommunication, and disregard for even the most basic standards. I expect immediate and serious attention to these issues.

Great service from start to finish

From the first time we arrived at Walton on Thames Audi, we received a warm welcome with a comfortable sit down and a coffee, after a 50 mile journey from home. We were then given a good look over the car we were interested in buying, both inside and out.
The sales representative was very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him. He took us for a test drive and answered all our questions. We felt we had a full picture concerning the car's history, which all made sense, giving us confidence in proceeding with the purchase of the car.
When we returned some days later to complete our purchase of the car, everything was done efficiently and clearly, the process with the paperwork etc was explained and we left in our new car feeling very good about the whole experience. Thank you!
