The experience was fantastic from the start, staff are looking after you, Darren is lovely and the lips look great less than a week after the procedure.

So far they've been amazing. I get my treatments from Dr Rhona, who is highly knowledgeable and the kindest person ever. She cares for me like no other doctor ever had and she always offers follow-up revision treatments to make sure I'm happy with the results. The clinic is stunning, and Mags is very kind and helpful. I'm glad I find this place!

Where to start 🙂 … Easy to use website and friendly virtual assistant helps you find what you are looking for - A simple upload of pictures, Lorraine called shortly after to explain that these had been reviewed by the medical team and made some initial recommendations to improve the problem areas of my face. Hybrid laser and BBL treatment.

A comprehensive email then followed outlining initial thoughts, costs and extremely useful information on each of the procedures proposed. Risks included.

I was invited for a free of charge face to face consultation at the clinic to discuss the options.

Premises - stunning, a modern but subtle twist in an historic building on Bath Street over multiple floors. Face to face service from the moment the door is opened. Busy but calm, relaxing and cosy. Modern and professional consulting space.

I felt totally at ease being the only man in the waiting room, men should really not be bashful about improving and rejuvenating 🙂 take the plunge.

Dr Darren - I have to confess to not having watched the TV stuff, but had done some research and watched some of his excellent videos. What a decent fella. Relaxed and informative. We discussed my concerns, to which he consulted with me in detail on his recommendations, covering the process, healing and risks. I suggested a more aggressive overall treatment and he really did consider this more than once, but came to the conclusion that the less aggressive hybrid treatment really was the best option for me. Clearly a benefits assessment and an informed recommendation, which was consistent. I found this approach really refreshing. A personalised treatment plan, not a set menu. Tailored. There is no hard sale here. Nothing feels rushed. Here is a man that you feel you can trust.

I felt so confident after the one-to-one with Dr Darren that I arranged to pay and proceed with the treatment on the spot. Again, looked after by Lorraine, who saw me out of the front door. Despite being a sleek business, there is a real family feel to the place. That’s a difficult combination to achieve, but they’ve pulled it off.

Looking forward to receiving details of my appointment and what I’m sure will be start of a cracking journey 🍾 Now what’s all this about a fat freezing machine 😂

He takes his time to make sure his work was done to perfection and it was. I highly recommend him I would not go anywhere else now.
He knows his stuff and knows what he is doing. If you’re thinking about fillers please go to him. I barely felt the needle. Your numb up with cream. I was pain free with Darren.

I've been having treatment from Dr McKeown for 7 years now. The first treatment I had was an eye lift when excess skin from my eye lid was removed. The excess skin was making me look really tired and the treatment was a revelation. I immediately looked much fresher and nearly 7 years on I still notice every day how much this procedure has improved how I look. Since then I've had botox which has given me a great lift, and more recently BBL treatment to repair sun damage on my neck and face. I have been utterly blown away by how good the BBL is. I felt really self conscious wearing V neck blouses but my skin is noticeably much better and I feel so much better about myself. I am in my 50's and have seen acquaintances and also people in the media make mistakes with aesthetic treatments but I feel totally safe with all of the team at Dr McKeown's clinic. They really listen to you and I have always felt that the results of the treatment I've had has been totally in keeping with what I've wanted. I would highly recommend the clinic and think they are extremely professional in everything they do.

I feel I must respond to the comment of last patient Paul , I also asked for Darren’s opinion and was delighted with his honesty as I had paid a vast amount of money for fillers in the past with poor results I must emphasise it was NOT DARREN who did these , what he said tied up with results previously achieved , I absolutely appreciated his professional opinion he fixed my botched under fillers also he gave me advise on what could be achieved and what needed to be done to get these , I am now going for a very evasive treatment and trust 100% what Darren has advised , I’m a professional person and not some silly woman seeking the impossible, all treatments I’ve had have been outstanding and I for one trust him 100% he is such a lovely down to earth guy not like some and his staff ape him with their warmth and kindness cannot wait to get this done and have complete trust in him , if you don’t want honestly untruths , treatments that won’t work but cost a lot of money and to be taken in with procedures that wont achieve anything then don’t go to Darren because you won’t get it . An amazing experience from start to finish and I am loving the work you done on me gave me the boost I really needed right now. The clinic is so relaxing and lovely. The staff are fabulous make you feel relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. Dr Darren's clinic is just the best. With it being my first time Dr Rhona Cameron explained everything to me and made me feel at ease. I just won't go anywhere else now 10/10.

It’s taken me a while to consider whether I should write this or not, and also to process what actually happened when I visited Dr McKeown this past February.

Firstly, I was made to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time… Darren had been off the week before with Covid so was catching up with clients… not a big deal. The waiting room and receptionist were quite lovely.

When I actually got seen to, I walked into the room sat down, and explained that “I’m generally quite happy with the way I look but have always wanted to try Botox to see if I like it.”… To which Darren replied without a seconds hesitation “Well, you do have quite bad drooping eye lids which is a sign of ageing, but unfortunately nothing can be done about that!”.

I’ve been wondering for a while what exactly prompted him to say this to me. It was completely unnecessary and the only conclusion I’ve been able to come to is that he wanted to bring me down for some reason.

Whatever the reason I found it completely unprofessional and although he did a decent job with my Botox, I really can’t recommend him.

Further to your response… I don’t believe there was a misunderstanding. You explained everything you’ve mentioned later in the consultation to me - and were very professional in doing so. But this isolated comment, without any reference whatsoever to the Botox procedure I was in to receive, was hurtful and insensitive. Nothing was said on either side of it to make me believe you were giving me information that was a part of the consultation itself. I understand you’re running a business and have to put some spin on what happened… but I hope you’ll actually think about your actions and take steps to ensure it doesn’t happen with future clients.
