Contacted the Company , was told they would phone me back that didn't happen phoned again three time during the day and was given one excuse after another I had to give up eventually ,after being told thay had other urgent jobs to deal with suggested I try another company. unproffesional, incometant springs to mind obviously would not reccomend

Said they would come out in the afternoon to fix blocked drain, then they phoned up later to say they couldn't come. It was clear the engineer couldn't be bothered to come and do the work and wanted to knock off early. Had they just been honest at the start I could have called someone else not have to pay for an emergency callout from another company.

Had a problem with blocked drains so googled a local company they were at top of the list and confirmed they were local (they are not they are a Bristol based firm) they did clear the drains but told me all of the pipes were damaged. Some were evidently damaged. Quoted 5.5k for work I wanted to go through the insurance and they confirmed they would deal with the insurer. They were very reassuring that the insurer would pay out. Due to the cost I decided to check with the insurer first… The insurers will not pay out on a claim if work is done before hand!! I had paid a £500 deposit for work to start called ANDY who was extremely rude and abusive on the phone told me I wouldn’t see a penny back as men had completed work already (£96 we were quoted for the unblocking of the drain) when I asked for a break down of the cost for the insurer SHOCK we haven’t received anything! They get you in do the work and have you liable for a huge bill the insurer WONT pay for. AS STATED IN PREVIOUS REVIEWS THEY ARE SCAMMERS. We had someone in to do the exact same work for £1092 and drains are all working fine.

This company answered our call for help promptly and a team of four worked solidly from 8-30 am until 7 pm on Good Friday and not only solved the problem but solved other problems waiting to happen with pitch fibre drains. They were very thorough and neat and tidy and although they were very busy came back to solve a minor problem. We cannot fault them.

They arrived on time was friendly helpful and professional they fix the problem straight away I will recommend them to everyone 👍

I looked up a local company on my phone, who had been recommended but somehow got the number for this company. I asked the phone operator if I was through to the company I was expecting and he inferred that they were part of the same company and that I had the right number. I arranged to have the work done and it was too late to change by the time they came to do the work. They kept changing their arrangements (The first people who came to look didn't have the necessary equipment in their van because either 'it had been stolen or another team had borrowed it'. I presume that the work was completed satisfactorily but I think they may have ripped me off with the price. I definitely got the feeling that they were untrustworthy

Avoid avoid avoid! Absolutely awful company they came to unblock our shower drain. They used OUR plunger because he didn't have one in his vehicle! they then poured an unknown chemical down saying it could be left for up to 72 hours, before he went we were told to keep the window open and the door closed. This chemical had eaten into all our pipes and made them soft and spongey, the shower tray was completely ruined, the smell was horrendous and hazardous to inhale and filled the whole house, we had to put tape around the door in an effort to stop the vapours spreading. They didn't want to know when I tried to contact them. I did eventually get through two weeks later but an extremely rude man started shouting down the phone and hung up when I tried to justify my call. This has cost us over £2,000 to have all the pipes replaced and a new shower tray fitted, avoid this company at all costs. These chancers go around causing havoc with people's properties and lives. I have been so distressed over all of this. Please please don't use this company. It appears that the review I put on Checkatrade has been removed.

Scammers! Had blocked sink. Showed me a video of sewers pretending it was a live camera. Apparently I had root balls in all pipes. Wanted to charge £3500 to line them. Went to insurance company and their assessment showed no root balls!!!
Sewer pipes were not even related to blocked sink which cost me £50 to get unblocked by a local builder. Beware. Crooks of highest order.

Awful company - absolute crooks and do not trust any positive reviews on this website about Drain Defence Limited. Shysters of the first order!!!!!

I am so pleased with this company and the efforts they went to for me.
They were so professional, courteous, accommodating and on time! (I live in a small village that’s not the easiest place to locate)
I don’t think I’ve ever met nicer chaps in this line of work! Thank you ever so much, I hope not to require your services again, but should I encounter any future issues, you will be the first people I approach.

Drain Defense had confirmed an appointment at 9am this morning. It was a no show so called them. They apologised and rearranged for 3.30pm this afternoon. It was another no show, I called and after two more calls thye called back and said the earliest they could get to me was Monday. Avoid they are a shambles!

The guys turned up quickly and unblocked the manhole in my garden. very friendly and informative. Would recommend!

Literally the most horrific experience I've had with a campany. Please don't go with them. We had liquid fill up the bottom of our shower, my partner spent HOURS cleaning it up, we then called a emergency plumbing service who advised it was a drainage issue so we called drain defence. They put very caustic stuff down the shower, used a plunger a few times and said they'd come back later that day to check on the situation. They didn't come, in the mean time the shower filled up with a thick brown liquid. They said they'd come the next day - they didn't come. They said they'd come the next day - they didn't come. They then advised it was a plumbing issue. It says on their website plumbing services - so I called them. I told them about the experience but guess what - I was shouted at, I didn't even get a chance to say anything anymore, the guy just kept shouting and the person hung up the phone on me! Like it's actual kids running this business. Now we have a thick brown liquid that is probably caustic at the bottom of the shower. Honestly this destroyed my faith in letting anyone into our home again to help.
