Customer service none existent
Customer service isn’t bad, it doesn’t exist. I contacted CS by phone, was placed on hold for exactly five minutes and the call was rejected, I called back and after exactly five minutes, again the call was rejected. I eventually found an email address via google, that person forwarded my issue to another person, they completely ignored me, a week later I contacted them again - zero response . The order I received was incorrect, no one is interested.
My first and last time I will ever order from this company. I don’t know how they are in business.

Part of my order arrived over a week ago. 16 kg of flour are missing. I have emailed twice and heard nothing back. Whilst the flour is good quality, the customer service needs attention.

I completely understand your frustration, part of your order arrived over a week ago, and 16 kg of flour was missing. After looking into this, I can confirm that the missing item was unfortunately damaged in transit. A replacement order was raised for you last week, and should hopefully be with you.
We also sincerely apologise for the lack of communication and the delay in responding to your emails. This isn't the level of service we strive for, and your feedback is invaluable as we work to improve our customer support processes.

Bittersweet experience.
Bittersweet experience. I ordered 3 x 1.5kg of breadflour. Upon delivery the package was crushed rendering all packages split and the loss of flour was vast.
Doves farm was very polite and understanding and promptly sent out a replacement batch. However, due to lack of packaging support and cushioning the new order wasn't in good shape.
Doves farm have very good products but I think they need invest in more packaging options to prevent loss of products.

As an amateur, but frequent, baker I appreciate that I can buy the quantities I need (large or small) from such a reliable and prompt supplier. The speciality flour options provide lots of choice too.

Missing items
Ordered 8 bags of flour. Only 4 arrived with a note in the delivery note to say 4 to follow. When I ordered they were all in stock but when I check their website after delivery they are now out of stock. So they are selling more than they have in stock. Already waited 3 working days for delivery and now got to wait in undefined amount of time to get the rest of the order. No email or message to advise they were out of stock - you also have to wait 3 working days for a response from them after using the contact us form. The worst customer service - terrible company.

Wonderful variety of grain products and recipes
Good variety of flours I especially like the ancient grains that make wonderful bread and both savoury and sweet dishes. The recipes provided on the website are also varied and interesting. Prices are good and there are also good deals to be had at regular intervals. This has been my favourite site for products and recipes for some years and I am happy to recommend.

RANCID FLOUR
I've been buying the same spelt flour weekly for quite a while now, but for the past month, every single bag has been rancid. It's completely thrown off my baking — the smell, the taste, everything is wrong. I've already had to get refunds from Tesco twice, but it's frustrating having to waste time, ingredients, and effort. Sort it out, please.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re really sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced. We understand how frustrating it must be to have your baking thrown off, especially when you’ve been a loyal customer for so long.
We would like to reassure you that we have not received any similar complaints for our White Spelt flour to date, and after investigating your concerns, we investigated our retained sample of the spelt flour and grain and conducted testing. We can confirm that no rancidity was detected during either the smell or blanch test. It is therefore likely that the flour has been exposed to inappropriate storage conditions either during transportation or in-store, as flour can easily absorb surrounding smells. This could potentially explain the off-putting taste and odour you encountered.
We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused, and should you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to get in-touch with our team.

Very good products but not able to order
Very good products but ordering from their website is practically impossible and contacting them to let them know strictly impossible ( you need an order number ). Not customer oriented, sadly because the products are great. Buy in shops or Amazon. DF will lose a large part of their margin but you will get their products.
