I’ve used Doug Brady for a couple of distance purchases in the past year (Rega Planar P1 turntable and REL T-Zero Mk3 sub).
On both occasions I have been very impressed with their customer service (order placed online but a follow-up call received next day to discuss the purchase), and next day delivery.

Once again, Doug Brady hifi, Miguel and the team have absolutely delivered. The new Technics SL-1200G running through the V10 into the Hegel H400 and AE Corinium is simply spot on. The Hana SL MkII was an amazing choice the clarity, depth and musicality are just spot on. Huge thanks again, gents, for such a brilliant and truly great service. See you soon for more toys :)

The team here will make you feel at ease straight away. They are very knowledgeable & very passionate about all aspects of Hi-Fi & will be more than happy to talk all things Hi-Fi. I'm a little out of the area of Warrington but it's worth the travelling. Good coffee too.
Over the last few months I've bought a pair of speakers, Streaming Pre-Amplifier & Power Amplifier & couldn't be happier with the help & service from Doug Brady's.

Another good shopping experience with Doug Brady.
I ordered the Mission 778 CDT player on 19th February and received it the next day. Very pleased with Mission cd transport. Matches perfectly with Mission's 778X amplifier I also bought from Doug Brady a while ago. Excellent build quality and sound for the price. It won't compliment bad recordings, but good ones sound absolutely lovely. For the price, in my opinion, it's a steal. Thanks again to the people at Doug Brady. Great service. Cheers. Steve Attwood.

Awful company to deal with, initially delayed then spoke to Jospeh complete idiot, vacant in possession, awful customer care, avoid this company, zero trust, I was about to blow a load of dosh on a system as they advertise most of the equipment I’m interested in, I thought I’d test the water and see how they reacted to a simple sales task, I’ve got zero confidence. A mess to deal with, slight attitude and was supposed to call me back, he’s excuse is he completely had forgotten.

I ordered a Lateral Audio Cadenz hi-fi stand from Doug Brady. This was duly delivered by DPD with no problems.
It was assembled later that day. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The unit is a top-quality piece of furniture. It looks superb in the lounge.
The service from Doug Brady was excellent in all aspects from start to finish. The company even telephoned me, after I placed the order, to double-check what components I intended to place on the stand to ensure compatibility. A very nice touch and typical of their first-class customer care.

I needed advice, I had a 50 year HiFi that I'd inherited and I knew it was probably past plausible resurrection for daily use, and not of collector interest. I needed to talk through the situation with someone who knew what they were talking about, would know the names of the kit I had, know the capabilities. Someone who wouldn't waste my time immediately trying to sell me the latest and greatest fashionable unit.
The Guys at Doug Brady kinda knew from my opening sentence, I was open, I was unlikely to be investing heavily, but they still offered me expert and kindly advice about what my best path was with my sentimentally valuable, but technically obsolete kit. This, to me, is the mark of a real expert. Someone who is not solely focused on the sale, but in helping customers and maintaining a deep knowledge of obscure equipment that they are willing to share. Someone who has the community in mind, not just the customer.

I’d been looking into upgrading my 2 channel listening for a while and needed a new amplifier. I’d done some reading around and had settled on a couple of options to pursue. John and Sam were extremely helpful in talking through the pros and cons and helped set up a demo to check out the two options at a time that suited me (I’m not local to the shop).
Having made a decision they also facilitated delivery and sorted out a trade in at a very reasonable price. I’m very grateful to them and Doug Brady as a business for enabling me to move to a system that is, albeit still new and bedding in, absolutely great.

I can not comment on a purchase experience from this company,I have had service and repair work carried out. I personally found there service excellent . Andrew who carried out a service and repair to my Thorens turntable was second to none. His knowledge of turntables in general was exceptional. His quiet soft spoken informative approach was very welcome. Unfortunately they lacked the correct equipment to repair my Mark Levenson and forwarded them on to a third party at no charge. My experience has been definitely a positive one . Thank you.

Will never use doug brady again, ordered a rega io amp online,never stated it was out of stock,next day had an email from dpd saying my order was going to be handled by them ,5 mins later another email saying my order had been cancelled. Rang doug brady to find out what was going on ,they said unfortunately they were out of stock but would be receiving more from rega in a few days. Rang back after a few days spoke to Rich he assured me he had spoke to rega personally and that they would receive the amp at the end of April and he promised me he would ring me next day, that being the 1st of May, to let me know if they been delivered. He didn't ring me had to ring them ,but this time I was put through to the warehouse and was told it would be another week before they would have the amp.
Don't like being lied to.
