They allow you to review their products on their website but if they do not like your review they just do not post it. Very shady business practice. This reminds me of youtube reviews.

The prices can't be beat. The advice is decent and fair based on ratings from clients. However, use your own judgment or a professional pool maintenance guy - girl that does pools for a living.

I love this company and their products. The extremely fast shipping is a plus! I go to them for all our pool needs. Try them you will not be disappointed.

When my pool pump quit suddenly, I went into panic mode until I saw a similar one online through Doheny's Pool Company for an unbelievable price. It was even bigger than the one I previously owned and it runs just as powerful. Great service, high quality equipment, and super fast next-day shipping. These are the Best Chlorine Tabs in the Nation. I am in California and shipping was extremely fast. Well packaged. Price is ridiculously cheaper than all places. I am customer for life. Thank you.

We are a pool installer and tried a test bed of Dohenys 1.5 HP inground pumps. We purchased 10 all together. Of the ten 7 have failed. They have a 1 year warranty but what Dohenys doesnt tell you is that after 3 months they refuse to send a shipping label and require you to absorb the shipping cost back. For us it is $125 each. To top it off all the replacenents have begun failing as well. We now have upset customers, Lost time as our wokrers need to revisit the site and replace the pumps plus a new pile of 3 failed pumps that simply arent worth sending back. This was a 7 Thousand dollar mistake plus. To add insult to injury the woman we spoke with in Customer Service was nothing but rude. We offered to send them all back for a refund and purchase a name brand pump from them. Dohenys refused. She also said we should buy a better pump next time. What kind of answer is that? They know they are selling junk? Dont do business with them.

I purchased a 50# bucket of chlorine tablets. I ordered Saturday afternoon, it shipped Saturday night, and arrived Tuesday. Great job.
Unfortunately, FedEx had dropped the box and bucket, apparently several times, and the majority of the tablets were tossed around and broken. I called to report this and asked for a replacement. I also wanted a return, as there is not a practical way for me to dispose of chlorine tablets. After discussing this with a supervisor and sending pictures, a replacement order was created and a return label was sent within a few hours. While it wasn't their fault, I truly value and appreciate their taking ownership to find a resolution.

I own a resort and purchased a Doheny Pro pool pump for my pool. It came the next day and installed by a professional plumber the following day. I only run the pump 8 to 12 hours a day. It worked for 9 days. On the 10th day I turned it on and all I got was humming. I called Dohneys and was sent another one and I received it the next day. Again it was installed by a professional plumber. Within 8 hours of installation it was leaking. I called Dohneys again and they are sending another. In the meantime I sent the first one back, but haven't sent the second one back because I'm waiting for the third one. I expected it the next day. I have still not received it as of 8/20/26
I have guests who expect a functioning pool. Also during this process I will have paid the plumber to remove and install 3 pumps that's 3 service calls! I regret that I didn't spend the extra money and purchased another Hayward Super Pump, it ran for 10 years and was still running, but leaking when I replaced with the Doheny Pro. After 2 pumps going on a 3rd, I feel Doheny's should have offered an upgrade. If there is something wrong with one of my cabins or a guest isn't satisfied I give them an upgrade no questions asked. Fingers crossed that this next one works for a few years.

The pool cover I bought was total crap! Despite an 8 yr warranty, it didnt last 1 year before during brittle, getting holes and taking on water! I will NEVER buy anything from these people EVER again!

I purchased a pool pump from Doheny’s in June 2024. I just replaced it with a new pump. I feel like I should get more than 2 seasons out of a pump. Went against my general rule and purchased another one from them. If this one doesn’t last it will be the last purchase from Doheny’s.

Great price and I love the fact it's free shipping because chlorine is very heavy

The price was great. The product was spot on. The delivery was fast. What more could I ask of any retailer both brick and mortar and online?

At the customer service person recommendation I switch the cartridge filter system and so far it’s working great. A little loud but works well.

Coupling sent with new pump did not fit

Order bucket 3 inch chlorine tabs all broken got a bucket of crumbs 3 emails to Doheny 12 days later still no response will be my last order

I thought I would save a little bit of money going online. I bought $100 item it wasn’t correct and it cost me $50 to return! I would not recommend this company to anybody
WHAT A RIP OFF

The company advertises next day delivery on their products but then tell you afterwards "it is only next day sometimes for some people." Ask to speak to a supervisor and the first try will be another overseas contractor pretending to be a supervisor - 3rd try you get a real one (I think?). Since I needed my pool pump the next day I said I was going to refuse delivery - they said do not - they can re-route it and charge me $25 (for their mistake). Every step in the ordering process it referenced next day delivery - every single step. I can't even imagine the lack of service if something was wrong with the pump.
