I go to this garden centre on a regular basis and travel 20 miles to get there and always have a good experience.
I went on Friday 19 December 2925 and was horrified on entering the gents toilet to see the urinals which looked disgusting compared to the store normally
I was intending to upload an image but was unable the urinals we’re stained brown

Dobbies Livingston superb cafe and the kids love the soft play and the fish feeding area …. Staff are all lovely and very professional and a big shout out to ‘Bonnie’ in the restaurant area who was super helpful and very sweet natured 5*****

My husband and I are getting old and we do find it hard to collect our food and carry it to the table, Bonnie couldn’t have been more helpful making sure she helped carry our trays and waited on our coffee to bring it over. She was very good with my daughter’s dogs too and wouldn’t accept the tip we wanted to give her. She was really super and couldn’t do enough to help.

Hi went to dobbies for some honey as I got to the counter the lady serving went to feed a dog a dog biscuit to stop it barking then got another biscuit to feed another dog at next till I’m still waiting to be served as I was waiting the lady came back just to get another dog biscuit then handles my jars of honey not washing or sterilising her hands dont know what people are thinking but if I put my finger in my mouth b4 giving the money over I bet the lady would think what a are you doing will be ready next time I go in

We would like to say a big thank to the wonderful member of staff at the children’s toy department who very kindly built a wheelbarrow for our grandson.
We visited the Livingston store on Monday 17th March around 10.30 and the lady was so kind to our grandson who watched her build it for him.
Members of staff like that lady are a credit to the company and deserve a shout out.

Such a disappointment. Shop is selling the dregs of Christmas mid-January at still expensive prices, toilets are filthy and cafe is so down at heel. Worn furniture, dirty carpets, stained walls and dried out food. Hardly a plant to buy. This place, near Livingston, is a shadow of its former self.

Just visited Dobbies today.The cafe was dreadful,the carpets are filthy,an sure environmental health would agree.My birthday which is at the end of November and for which my birthday tea voucher did nor arrive until December was rudely rejected by the cashier.A really bad experience!!

In Dobbies today, staff as usual, excellent, but Ladies toilets absolutely disgusting, every cubicle filthy! Another customer can in & like me walked out, I notice a review was posted about the toilets 2 weeks ago & obviously management has done nothing about them, perhaps they couldn't care less! Get a cleaner for your toilets, their horrendous!

If you enjoy waiting in a queue whil your hot food goes cold this is the place for you.one person making coffee one persons on till and servicing self service station .where coffee machine was out of milk nightmare.

Found what I wanted easily. Pleasant staff.

Great customer service

Food is expensive, and really crappy, it’s not what it used to be. If you want expensive, cheap quality crappy food, and dirty toilets, this is the cafe for you.

Received helpful advice re plant I was buying and also hanging baskets. I was assisted to the checkout and then to the car. Customer service excellent.

Location and friendly staff

Lucky to be given a voucher but, of course, spent double of voucher. Beautiful selection of plants for summer.

Breakfast rules are that you must have a fixed Breakfast what an excellent way to waste food. They have a cost per item so surely you could build your own without any issues? Unfortunately the staff also didn't even manage to get the fixed breakfast right. Nice place though.
