Dixons are one of the worst estate agents going. Nobody ever seems to know what they’re doing and pass you from person to person. Everyone is miserable and unfriendly. Extremely difficult to reach all of the time.

Had a survey booked in... they didn’t even bother to show up. Contacted them, they had no real reason, said they’d call back, never did.

Was also interested in purchasing a property which was a disaster. Couldn’t get hold of anyone. Nobody got back. Went in, again nobody had a clue what they were doing, passed from one clueless employee to the other... all of which were miserable and clearly didn’t want to be there.

Avoid at all costs. Unprofessional, poor communications and frankly a shambles.

Mr. David Lockwood and Mr. Andrew Thornhill are very unprofessional, desperately seeking gains even if it means throwing the local community under the bus. They have no interest to work with the locals, they sweep in and bully the locals. Its disgusting and unacceptable.

Dixons Wolverhampton - Worst estate agents I have ever known as a landlord - AVOID. As landlord I expect professional and honest service especially when premium service fee charged.

To start with the tenancy has not been fully triggered; landlord’s signature (i.e. me) were pending and the keys were passed over to the tenant in rush. There is still shortfall in rent collected and actual rent agreed on tenancy agreement and its 8 months now, also still fully signed correct tenancy agreement is still pending.

Overcharged estate’s agent service fee for couple of months and it took far too much efforts to correct it, also their corporate compliant department is absolutely joke.

Worst, their local branch keeps sending surprise charges, fees every other month.

I don’t blame other landlords shunning traditional estate agents of these kind and moving towards online or take on this task themselves.

Gone down hill have been a landlord with them since 2015
they put tenants in that did not pay rent the last two months'

It was empty for 6 months due to legal things the said it was out of there hands

rent and legal did not want to pay now I have a tenant they moved in for eight months after that I am going elsewhere I have lost all confidence with them please do not use them

I would never recommend this agency to anybody. For neither sales or lettings. Appalling service and communication.

After viewing the property the commitments were made but never fulfilled even after a month ,poor communication ,Without even looking at the inventory list house being handed over to Tenant (which showing multiple damages, not professionally cleaned kitchen and toilets) ,
Ignorant and not professional at all.

Used to be great when they were based on Harborne High street in Birmingham - friendly and pleasant staff who were really helpful. Since closing this office and moving to Quinton the service has become complete rubbish. I would advise against renting from or giving your property to let through this company.

Dixons - Bearwood

The service provided by Dixons estate agents in Bearwood was second-to-none. Really happy to have found Aaron! From the start we could tell he was very knowledgeable and as first time buyers he has been very helpful in each stage of the process. Would highly recommend his services to anyone!

I’ve used Dixon’s to find tenants for my property on the last 5 occasions and I have not been disappointed. Great service and transparent fee’s.

Team provided us with an excellent service. We had initially registered with another agency and in the months they had our property, we had to chase for updates. That particular company did not make us feel that we were priority. 18 weeks and no result Dixon’s team were SO different. We had updates from get go. Every viewings set up, we got email and text messages. We knew who was going into our property and the outcome. They made us their priority.

There was a constant communication with Sarah, she was the glue ~ our SUPER glue. She was our point of contact from point of sale agreement. She kept the communication going between us, our recommended solicitor and buyer. Assuring and guiding us. All the staff knew the status of our sale it shows the level of their excellence, their professionalism and passion for their job.
We could call anytime and felt free to do so. It really felt like nothing was any trouble. Everything ran really smoothly from initial conversation,going on the market to sale.
We are really happy with the level of service received by our girls listed and would recommend Dixon’s Erdington Branch to anyone if you want an easy, efficient, professional and honest service.
Keep up with the fantastic job guys. We really appreciated all your hard work.

Mr and Mrs Balfourth

I was renting a property managed by Dixon's with my house mate. I vacated the property after our contract had ended due to shockingly poor service. I informed Abigail Koasha from Dixons Selly Oak via e-mail that I had vacated the property and paid all the leavers fee's. I called to confirm with Country wide terminations that this was correct and received verbal confirmation that I had. My house mate then signed a new tenancy agreement on his own.

I have not had any contact from Abigail since leaving. 14 months later on, I received a call from Abigail stating that I owed money that my ex-housemate had not paid because she had not bothered to fill in the forms to remove my name from the tenancy. Abigail threatened me with court proceedings in her first call to me in 14 months. My housemate has stopped communicating with Dixon's so they found me an easy target to bump up their profits.

I have been forced to take this up with the property ombudsman because Dixon's continue to harass and threaten me with court unless I pay for a charge 14 months after I had left the property.

During my time in the property, I could not get hold of Dixon's when we had issues with the house. Precisely zero issues were rectified. If Dixon's spent half the time they do unscrupulously chasing for money and put that into customer service, they might stand a chance.

Please avoid using Dixon's at all cost. Shockingly poor service during and after the tenancy.

I currently rent with Dixons (hopefully not for much longer when I have my money together to move!)and have done since 2017.

Dixons on my property also manage the property instead of the landlord. You would therefore think; that in the face of any problems/issues- they would actually be relied upon to do their job?

Sadly not.

The service provided by this agency is that dire, once I am out, I will not touch a rental by Dixons, ever again.

There are 2 rental agents at the office that deals with my property yet neither of them seem to be able to pick up a phone and update, return phone calls or correspond in a non argumentative and unprofessional way.

I have been trying to call for two days now. Messages left. A call back is too hard, it seems.

Boiler problems in my property were on/off for nearly six months. Now a broken freezer for a week. Whilst those are quality issues and landlord issues, Dixons/Countrywide who deal with the repair side of things think the occasional phone call chasing the landlord is sufficient.

I am afraid it isn't.

Then lets talk about the fees for this absolutely rubbish service.

To just renew my contract last year- Dixons asked for approx £130. Bearing in mind the only thing that changes on that contract are dates and the need for an additional signature. Literally no adminstration at all. What the money was for given they can't even pick up a phone, I really don't know.

Do not rent with Dixons.

They are the worst agency out there.

Absolutely seamless Ian found us a home and have the keys in less than 4 weeks.
Total professionalism from all the team at dixons Birmingham City Centre highly recommend for selling or buying forget the rest.
