We had a great experience visiting DFS Croydon store on last Saturday 27th June the staff were friendly knowledgeable and we ended up choosing & buying the sofa set

Hisham was superb - great service and very helpful

the sale rep was very understanding and patient

Peter helped me & my mum, he was very helpful. The sofa we saw in store was priced cheaper than online, he then called the head office to price match the sofa. Gave us a free care kit & got us some discount also. Thank you very much Peter.

The lady who welcomed us was very helpful and friendly. She took her time to walk us through the products and the process before, during and after purchasing.

Croydon store is full of helpful staff would recommend a visit. Easy to order great price and finance option so easy to arrange. Great product and the delivery was the most simple experience ever! Seamless doesn’t do it justice . They were in and out and installed in a matter of minutes . Policy , professional and friendly. Brilliant ! Moving into a new home and this was the easiest and stress free thing to arrange. Thank you !!!

Very patient staff

I love my new sofa. It is so comfy and well made. I had to change the delivery date 3 times as my move was delayed which was no problem. I just had to call customer service and they changed it for me. It was delivered promptly at the time they said which was great. The man in the shop explained things clearly and organized the finance for us. Great customer service.

Lovely greeting and helpful, friendly staff. Found the sofa we wanted really quickly, and liked one of the other fabrics in the folder. When going through the purchase, we weren't told that the fabric we chose was over £100 more until we questioned the maths. Then it just kept going up... £125 for delivery, £40 for eaziglide feet, £193 for 5-year fabric insurance, more for a special protective spray, more again for their care products because (and I quote) "there isn't a single high street product you can use to clean this fabric" It's chenille, not antique lace.

We were then put under considerable pressure to buy the enhancements under the guise that they were doing us a deal. Suddenly, the insurance was £90 and not £193. The special feet could be thrown in for free, as well as the product to care for the world's pickiest fabric. They could help us out by letting us pay on delivery to 'get another pay check in'. Every sales trick in the book. We politely declined, but felt like they weren't angry, they were just disappointed.
