On June 3rd, I purchased a pair of anti-blue light eyeglasses from the Dexyora Store--supposedly able to adjust vision whatever it is (my vision was worse WITH the glasses and they were flimsy and cheap-looking too). The cost (also shown on the company email) was $23.98. However, upon checking my bank account, they had deducted $41.96, with a separate deduction of $23.98. Since this purchase was made thru PayPal, I disputed the charges with them. Dexyora said the $23.98 was a system error that would fall off (and it did), and that they would refund immediately the extra $17.98 from the $41.96. (All this is in an email sent to me by Dexyora.) After a few days, I checked my bank account to see no refund. I emailed the company, and someone named Anne said they didnt have the money to process the refund! They dont have $20 to give me the money back??? That made no sense. To this date, I have not been refunded the extra amount. I recently discovered what this ruse was apparently about. When I went to PayPal to dispute again, I found that the case had been closed after 14 days and couldnt be reopened. So Dexyora counted on my patience so that I could not dispute anything further with PayPal. I then contacted the BBB, who investigated and said Dexyora is not physically located at the address given on their website. Therefore, nothing could be posted and mailed. I am only grateful that I wasnt taken advantage of for significantly more money. But I will post as many scam warnings as possible. Just think: If they collect $20 from every unsuspecting customer, that would add up to quite a bit of money over time. I think they hope the customer doesnt notice the small discrepancy. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY! It may also be the same company as NoBlu Vision.com.
