Our house was on the market end part of November and we didn't expect a lot of interest in November/December. On January 20th I rang up to check if the was any news. I then suggested that the price that had been given was a little over ambitious. They then said to drop the price which we did. After that price reduction we got a viewing and took an offer on the house. The house sale fell through and after that as before we was left again. No contact. The only thing I wanted was to be kept informed,

We were the buyers of the property but despite this we received an excellent service from the team at the Belper office. Every question and query we had was answered quickly and competently and promises of call backs were kept. They were great.
Upon completion we encountered problems with the state of the property. Furthermore, the vendor was not cooperative but thanks to Georgia and her skill at mediating we got a positive outcome. We cannot thank Georgia enough for getting what was an extremely stressful situation resolved for us quickly and with a friendly touch ❤️

Derbyshire Properties were the agents for the selling party and we were the buyers.

We had to chase for the sale to go through due to the paperwork (for the vendor) being stuck with their Solicitor and we needed to get this paperwork moving for us to exchange with our buyers for our property which we were selling, to stop the chain falling apart. Amy was excellent with this and we did exchange as verbally agreed with all parties.

We would certainly use Derbyshire Properties should we be in a situation where we want to move again.

Stay well clear!!! Awful company and tie you into a never-ending contract - £360 should you take your house off the market even after the 20 weeks. They even tried to add someone who didn't come to view our house. There are far better estate agents out there. I would not be touching these with a barge pole. They just hound you for your money and do not care whether they sell your house or not!
