Absolutely terrible, I ordered a necklace for my daughter’s birthday over 5 weeks ago and still haven’t received it. The payment came out quick enough and every message is: ‘it will be shipped later this week’. At the point I am just trying to get a refund but he now saying as it is a custom order it doesn’t qualify. I don’t think he fully understands trading standards or the consumer act and I will be trying to get my money back through the bank. Also funny how there are different names and websites for this business……..Avoid at all costs!

Ordered a Whippet pendant for my wife in June, have had numerous facebook msg promises, shipping numbers and other indications it was shipped but it's always been a lie. If anyone in the UK knows an attorney who would like to sue this loser I would be glad to have a conversation with them. Maybe we can make it a class action if someone wants to join in.

David Baggaley Silversmiths are SCAMMERS. They received my order and payment for a necklace (a gift for a friends birthday) on 30th September '22. Nothing arrived and they ignore all attempts to enquire. Sadly I've just found heaps of bad reviews on Trust Pilot saying the same thing. Bloody thieves. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Should have read Trustpilot before engaging with this individual. I paid my money in good faith nearly four months later, items not received. Oh he is charming enough, sends you pretty pictures of what he produces. As soon as he gets your money, he blames the carriage company, never gets back to you, ignores messages and does not refund your money. Stay well clear.

This company also trades as Yorkshire Silver. On 14 September I placed an order for a necklace, received immediate confirmation saying that it would be dispatched within 7-14 days and payment was taken from my credit-card account. Having heard nothing from the company since the initial confirmation, on 4 October I went on the company’s website and filled in the contact form to ask when I could expect delivery. No response to that, or 3 further enquiries later in the week via Facebook messenger, email and website chat. I’ve tried to contact the company 4 times today by phone, but neither reply nor answerphone facility to leave a message 🤷‍♀️. Now trying to reclaim payment from my credit card company 🐾

I ordered my silver Malawi country map silhouette pendant sterling silver in April 2022. Never turned up. Dave was initially helpful and confirmed he would class the pendant as lost and would send another. Nothing. I doubt he even sent it in the first place. Now doesn’t reply to my very kind messages! Joke. Never buy from this scam artist.

Very poor products, the dog collar disks in the shape of the breeds are very dangerous because the are very thin and the tail and legs are very sharp. This could cause serious injury to the dog.
The service was appalling and emails were ignored. The items were suddenly sent out after I had opened a dispute through PayPal. Don’t order from this person.

Communicates very well till he has your money, then nonexistent. Not replying to messages, nor sending you the jewellery you have bougth.

Avoid this seller and his website,as it’s basically the Burmuda triangle for money…you place your order,pay your money,and that’s sadly where the story ends…I have contacted the seller directly via the website’s ‘contact us’ facility,and have had no response to any of my emails,only received automated copies of the emails that I sent 🤷🏻‍♀️…the item I ordered was destined to be a gift to a friend that had undergone drastic surgery,to give her an uplift,due the meaning of the symbol being for health,healing and protection

I placed my order on 25th January 2 days after my Korthals griffon passed away.I had seen the advert on the KG facebook page dbsilversmiths.
I have emailed several times with no response at all.
I messaged through facebook several times with only one response saying it had been posted and on 4th March 2022 still waiting.Very disappointing will update if it arrives. I did not mind waiting but it's the frustration of having no communication.Today I have tracked the order and again it says being made today its been like this for a few days.

If i could i would give no stars at all. Ive ordered a silver earrings on the 26th November 2 weeks later still no order. Contacted with him he said it will get posted nothing arrived. Contacted again been told he resent it still no order arrived. Ive asked a refund no money received and now he claim order has been sent to a wrong address. Ha ha ha. This is a scam and he just taking people money and will not send anything or give your money back. AVOID

Exactly the same reviews as below, ordered and NOTHING ! Continually tried to contact with no response then when did respond kept asking for my details/order number and saying it had been lost in the post. Said he would resend NOTHING ! When I opened a PayPal query he immediately repaid me and said he was sorry he was busy blah blah blah and that he would send me one anyway as a gesture of good will - NOTHING. Not that I actually expected anything, now he’s blocked me. Don’t order from this man he is a rip off

Ordered a flat coat retriever charm, in November last year, hoped it would arrive by xmas but as its a busy time, I knew its possible it might not.
However, that said, I did not expect to have not received it well into January 2022.
I also did not expect the website listed phone number to NEVER be answered, or the email I sent via the website to not be answered or acknowledged.
I received an email on Thursday 16th December saying the charm is being prepared for despatch, and another on Friday 17th saying it had been despatched.
No charm received, no answered calls, no answered email.
So, I'm £25.16 down with nothing to show for it !, hence I've now opened a case with PayPal and hoping to get my money back from this rip off guy.
Reading other reviews on Trustpilot, I'm certainly not alone in this problem with this business which is so disappointing.
The charms look great but its no good if you pay for them but don't get to receive them.
Avoid at all costs.

I placed an order at the end of Nov 21. Three weeks passed and no email confirmation for dispatch. I tried to call, emailed, fb messenger and also submitted a enquiry form but no reply. I waited till Jan and still nothing so I reported the issue with PayPal and got my money back. I understand that due to the run up to Christmas DB would be busy but the lack of response to emails etc was really disappointing! Any reply would of made me keep my order as I really wanted the pendants. Won't be ordering again 😒

Ordered a keyring at the beginning of Dec as a cracker filler, when ordered it stated a confirmation E-mail would be sent, we received nothing, tried phoning but no answer, sent an E-mail for order confirmation and approx delivery, no answer. Suggest you do not use this site as they are either no longer in business or failing to respond to orders placed

I have previously ordered from David and received gorgeous key rings but I recently ordered again in September and still have not received the item. I have sent messages and emails and received nothing back. The item was supposed to be a thank you present and has now way surpassed when was appropriate to give it. I’m very disappointed in the business as I was hoping to support a small business again but seems as though I have been scammed out of my money instead.
I understand that he may be busy but at least be honest with customers and do not take on orders you can not do. Very disappointed.

I ordered a boxer charm necklace, larger size and thickness… it’s beautiful and quite a good weight … the chain is also very pretty. David messaged me to let me know when it was dispatched … only a couple of days from order to receipt … thanks DB silversmiths for great service

Further to my previous reviews.. I have to say that after two months waiting I finally received my item. In fairness I must add that I am very pleased with the the standard of workmanship.
