Visited the store today and Friday with my daughters and granddaughter for bridesmaid dresses. Assisted by Charlie and the whole appointment was fantastic. We tried on loads of dresses and Charlie was so attentive and productive knowledge was amazing. Would highly recommend this store to anyone as the selection of dresses, colours and materials were second to none. I thank Charlie for her welcoming and friendly manner.

Wonderful time at David's Bridal in Westfield. I found my dream dress on the Saturday - I think I knew as soon as I put it on, but I slept on it (and dreamed about the dress!!) and they happily found time for me to come in on the Sunday for a second go, which was very kind. All three - Lucia, and Laura and Debbie, made me feel so special and clearly the team work brilliantly together and clearly love their jobs (and know when a dress is The One!). Loved the whole experience. Thank you all!

Visited today 23/10 with my daughter and her 3 bridesmaids. Lots of choice in colour and fabrics. Lia was a great help to everyone. She smiled throughout, helping with fitting, narrowing down choices and introducing styles that she thought would suit. She never got flustered or upset when another dress was asked for or another try on was needed. Three bridesmaid dresses purchased and an enjoyable experience.

Got the perfect dress with the amazing help from Katie at the braehead shop. My daughter and I already had picked a few we liked, Katie then gave us a tour of the different areas and what designers were where. Out if the 3 dresses I picked she asked what my favourite one was and said for me to tey that on first. It was the one I chose to buy but she did say to tey on the other 2 as well just incase, which I did and then tried the first one again to make sure I was 100% happy which I was and said yes to the dress. Katie was so nice, helpful and time didn't matter, as long as I was sure.
Great Service
My daughers and I went to David's Bridal for a pair of shoes. They did not have what we were looking for. However, Kayleigh B was very helpful and helped us look for the shoes my daughter needed. She was an absolute blessing without her we would of not found the shoes we were looking for. I Appreciate her great customer service that I recieved. She went above and beyond. Thank you so much.

Westfield Stratford store. I cannot thank Lucia enough for her help in getting the perfect dress for my daughter. I cannot recommend the staff more highly, they are wonderful.

Bridesmaid dresses - disaster ur experience which started off fine
Our experience which started off fine, ended appallingly..6 bridesmaids dresses ordered, great... Bridesmaids all measured up in the shop, great (Stratford, Westfield Branch). When the dresses arrived in after a few weeks wait, they were mostly the incorrect sizes!! eg how can you order in a size 22 for someone who is a size 16, the finish to the dresses were unacceptable, fraying, uneven stitches, also went to collect one of the dresses, it needed work, they said I could wait, I did..the dress was bought out, I took it home only to realise I was handed back another size dress, I mean how!?! when you are altering the dress i just came to collect, but found issues!! The whole experience, which should have been an exciting one, was so so stressful. I will not recommend David's Bridal to anyone...The dresses were a lovely design but the stitching, finish of each dress was shoddy, with like a couple weeks before the wedding as they screwed up. When dresses were eventually collected they were put in a plastic, what look like a carrier bag from the pound shop, after spending money for the dresses and playing for alterations, not professionalat all....You can imagine the stress and anxiety..despicable. I still believe that some form of compensation should be offered for all the stress caused during this experience.

I visited the store in Stratford, westfield for alterations for my bridesmaids on the 31st of August and was seen by Shaz, who was great, amicable and made the experince very pleasant, she was great, dealt with all our queries and made great suggestions. I wasn't expecting a great experience as I have been to the store four times now.
My first was in March for my wedding dress, the lady helping kept disappearing, my friends were the ones helping me to get changed, when she realised that therre was no sale, she called the manager for a back up. By this stage I was ready to leave, and even though some off the dresses were nice, it wasn't what was looking for. This experience made my entourage not wanting to came back for bridesmaids dresses.
We eventually came back for bridesmaids dresses, same experience, the lady introduced herself as our helper, but no one mentioned that she would be helping two groups at the same time, low and behold, she was nice, but couldn't really fully help us, as she was split, once again, disappearing acts, and we ended up having to help each other, and even using their tags to see fits of dresses. A rushed unfulfilled experience, that should be fun and memorable. A manager asked if we enjoyed the experience, myself and my bridesmaids looked at her in shock, and highlighted that no we had not enjoyed it, as we had to do it ourselves, as the allocated person was helping another group, most of the time, she then said its normal, that's how they do it. At this point we said, that at introductions, this wasn't stated, she half heartily apologised about our expeience.
My third time, a couple of the bridesmaids wanted to try the dresses again to make sure they had the right sizes, due to our last experience. We were served by Niha who was new, and Shatna, they were amazing, they looked for sizes in different colours for us to be able to see the fits, as the bridesmaids are on the slender petite side, at this point we realised that the dress we were looking came in different top styles, which would have greatly helped when all the bridesmaids were present, as i strongly highlighted that a dress with different tops would be great to fit everyone. Because the assistant was being pulled in all directions, she couldnt provide the customer service, needed for the occasion. Niha, Shatna and Shaz, were great and an asset to Davids, but i would say they have a good choice of dresses, but be prepared for bad customer service.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I bought my dress from them and gave it in for alteration and never heard back! Closer to my wedding date, I kept calling but was told everyone was too busy to talk to me and that someone will eventually call back… no one did! In the end, I had to buy another dress from a different shop just a week before my wedding !!!
They contacted me after 6 months to apologise for keeping my dress but refused to give me any compensation or a refund!

Kayra was fantastic in helping us find the perfect junior bridesmaid dress. She took the time to understand our style and colour needs for the dress and the shoes. She went above and beyond to ensure the dress we purchased off the shelf was immaculate. Kayra was friendly but not pushy, and most of all she helped us find exactly what we were looking for
Ruined my dress
If you want your wedding dress ruined, by all means, let davids bridal touch it. If you want to feel belittled and unappreciated, go for it. Save your time, money, and sanity and go anywhere else! I was charged more than the price of my dress to have it ruined and made unwearable without hundreds of dollars of repairs from someone I could trust. I was blamed for their poor work and they had the audacity to try to get me to pay for further alterations through them. Then rushed me to sign to take my dress. Working on getting a refund which they keep fighting because THEY MAKE YOU PAY BEFORE THEY RUIN YOUR DRESS! Then they tell your bank that you authorized the payment. What a clever way to cover your tracks David's Bridal. Don't fall for it.

This is in reply to "Go Here For A Good Cry" in Novi, MI. I am the mother of the bride whose fiance wrote this review, I was with her when she picked out her wedding gown and at every fitting appointment. I have something else to add and that is either the fitters do not write clear instructions or the seamstress does not read them either way there is a lack of communication - call the client if there are any questions!! Her gown was supposed to have the sheer sleeve around the bicep instead it is straps going over her shoulders which is not what she wants - this was pointed out at both fittings. They offered to "fix it" but could they really be trusted to make it right as it was ready 9 days before her wedding? Choosing a wedding gown is one of the most special days in a girls life and this experience was extremely disappointing. Even though her gown is not the way she wanted it she is going to be a beautiful bride!!! It seems to me that businesses don't have the integrity they use to and nowadays expect a client to "just settle". You only get married the 1st time once and that experience should be very magical!!!
Unethical Business Practices
I was sold one of the most awful dresses I've ever tried on, didn't look anything like the picture. I tried to return it and they won't let me print a return label and there's no way to contact them. Also, they say on their website that if I don't return it within 3 days, I don't get a refund- I'd love to know how that's even possible if I had a return label. Disgusting.
Go Here For A Good Cry
Firstly, my fiance left this location crying 3 out of the 4 times she was there. Why you ask? Because every time she was there she was called fat, asked multiple times a visit if she has gained weight, and had some of the most unprofessional help we've ever witnessed. The first time she was asked if she gained weight was when they screwed up her dress alterations so badly that the dress wasn't even a few inches close to zipping around her chest. I don't know about you, but without rib cage expansion surgery your rib cage doesn't gain several inches in 2 months. This is when we found out that the alterations were done by someone with "a broken tape measure". Talk about incompetency. Then a new round of dress try ons and fat name calling and more unprofessional people. Then we get to her final visit to pick up her new dress a week before the wedding. The dress doesn't zip up right away and once again they ask if she gained weight and got fat. They didn't even have the dress positioned properly, once they readjusted it to how it should fit, it zipped right up with no issues. Now I don't know about you but clearly, David's Bridal of Novi, has no idea how to treat brides properly. There are so many other ways to go about fixing issues and treating customers, but yet, they messed it up every single step of the way. DO NOT go here unless you need a good cry.

Wonderful experience at Davids Bridal, was looking for a mother of the bride dress and Lia the sales assistant helped me.She knew exactly what dress would be perfect for me,I’m so happy, I will definitely recommend this shop and will be back.Thanks Lynn.
Non-existent customer service
I live in a rural area and I care for my elderly mom so online was my primary option for a mother of the bride dress. I ordered 3 dresses from David's Bridal. One worked so I started the return process for the other two. This same week, I had to put my mom on hospice. I forgot about the return until the day before my cutoff for returning -- I ran to UPS and got the dresses off in the nick of time. About two weeks later, I received an email that my return had been received but the refund was not even the amount of one dress (one was $129 and the other was $399) - the amount of my refund was $113. I responded to the email and received a response that my tracking information was required. After no less than 20 emails and phone calls and providing an actual email from UPS with all of the shipping/receiving/confirmation/who signed, etc. I FINALLY received the rest of my refund almost two months later. I would call and request a supervisor and be advised my call had been 'escalated' and someone would call me back. No supervisor ever called me back - I would just get another email telling me I hadn't provided sufficient information. It was ridiculous - I will never shop there again.

I came into the David's Bridal store on University Drive NW in Huntsville, AL looking for a dress for our grandson's wedding in October. The two ladies behind the counter greeted us politely and Taylor helped me with finding just the right dress. Taylor was polite, professional and kind. It was an enjoyable experience and I'll recommend this store to my friends.
