Received two bare root bushes at two different times. The first one has been planted for a week and now has small buds forming on the brown stems. The second one has been planted for three days and some of the brown stems are turning green. I feel sure that both of these are going to be fine. Have ordered several roses from Austin over the years and all have done well.

This year for the first time in ordering from your company, I chose roses to put in pots. I have eight other David Austin roses planted in the ground here at our home in Central Ohio, but we are looking to move in the next couple of years and I wanted to make sure I could take my new roses with me. I decided on Eustacia Vye and Desdemona. I appreciated receiving an email telling me exactly when my roses would arrive so I could have my pots and my potting soil already to plant them when they got here. When I opened my package, the plants looked amazing! They were packed so well, all wrapped in plastic and lots of moisture. They are cozy in their big pots now and beginning to get their first leaves. I appreciate the support and help I have gotten in the past from your company. You are always ready to answer questions and give advice. That kind of customer service is becoming more and more rare these days. Looking through your beautiful catalog in the cold winter months and choosing my new roses for the coming year has been a real treat for the last several years!

DA roses are just beautiful to start with and i keep coming back to buy more! They are very helpful answering any Qs via email, I have not had any luck reaching out to them via phone though. They were also kind enough to send replacements free of charge, and provide you an additional rose when one of your orders do not meet the shipment criteria.

I've been trying to contact their office by phone and email for 3 days with zero luck. I received my order and noticed it was missing a bareroot rose. Trying to figure out how I can resolve this but I've not gotten any response via email and they're not answering their phones, no matter how many times I called.

I love David Austin Roses. My roses come at the correct planting time for my zone & are very well packed for the journey. They are high quality plants - the rose I planted in late winter already has buds (mid-April)!

The roses arrived healthy, they were still wet in the bag. The roots were big and healthy, and new growth already appeared. The planting instructions were included. This was the 4th year in a row ordering bare roots from David Austin and I always had great success with all of them. In 2023 my Wollerton Old Hall arrive kind of late in the season, close to May, and it was a little too hot. But I kept watering it, and now it is a beast of a rose, the biggest in my garden. If I were to make a suggestion, would be to open shipping to Idaho a couple of weeks earlier, mid March.

What’s to say? I’ve been dealing with DA roses for years. Only place I will buy roses from: they’re healthy, beautiful and backed by great customer service.
